Re: TSM clients with 1 and 10 GB adapters
Hello Eric, sorry for answering late, customers were demandig, but I don't think this will be a problem for you. With linux you aren't allowed to use hostnames within the network configuration, so in a case of IP-renumbering you have to change device- configs under /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. Now you have to change route- eth1 too. -- Michael Prix On Fri, 2017-09-01 at 11:56 +, Loon, Eric van (ITOPT3) - KLM wrote: > Hi Michael! > Thanks you very much! > To answer my other question: I just tried, but you can't specify a DNS name, > only IP addresses are accepted. Hi Michael! Thanks you very much! To answer my other question: I just tried, but you can't specify a DNS name, only IP addresses are accepted. To make sure it is persistent across reboots, you have to add it to /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/route- The link I provided has an example, but I also have added it here: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.cloudibee.com_static-2Droute-2Dlinux_&d=DwIGaQ&c=AzgFQeXLLKhxSQaoFCm29A&r=uJG3UnPaeoz9naeIzbwWFddVED8ETOYHxjoACoofi2Y&m=SHH3lJSlB61oRrjIodJ3SjLu-pR1rBHGieZ6hq8gZ_c&s=CnmKdYmLbonz8XeTW4P6JS9VwE3tPoo0-X4-P5VM8Bk&e= -Rick Adamson Southeastern Grocers, LLC. -Original Message- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU] On Behalf Of Loon, Eric van (ITOPT3) - KLM Sent: Friday, September 1, 2017 6:08 AM To: ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: Re: [ADSM-L] TSM clients with 1 and 10 GB adapters Hi Michael!
