select node_name from nodes where node_name not in (select node_name from 
filespaces where node_name is not null)

Hi everybody,

On one of my servers I'm trying to generate a list of nodes without filespaces. 
I know for sure such node exist:

Protect: >q files LH-PPPC01-DB
ANR2034E QUERY FILESPACE: No match found using this criteria.
ANS8001I Return code 11.

But if I try to generate this list through a SQL query, it returns no nodes:

Protect: >select node_name from nodes where node_name not in (select node_name 
from filespaces)
ANR2034E SELECT: No match found using this criteria.
ANS8001I Return code 11.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here, has anybody an idea? Thanks for 
your help in advance!

You can still use command line. You just need to install the BA Client from
the Spectrum Protect for VE package. Choose "Advanced Installation"
and then choose "Install the data mover feature only".

Does this apply to command line VE restores as well?  At DR, we typically
just install a BA client and we have a script to perform mass VE restores
from within it.  Does this mean it would require the full VE install?

What this means is that you can no longer just install the Backup/Archive
client and run these commands. You have to have the license for Spectrum
Protect for VE in order to execute VM backup and restore operations.
