We have been running Administration Center 5.3.3 and Integrated Solutions Console 6.0.1.0 on a Windows 2003 server.
After upgrade of one of three TSM servers to 5.4.0.2, the Admin Center no longer worked for that server. Upgrade of the ISC and Admin Center failed until the \ISC601\...\ directory tree was restored from backup, and the original \ISC601\ACUNINST.BAT and \ISC601\_ISCUNINST\UNINSTALLER.EXE were used to deinstall first the Admin Center and then the ISC.
