Re: Client Acceptor and firewall

2000-11-21 Thread Rob Edwards

Petr,

Yes, 4.1.2 is the next scheduled PTF, and this is the PTF I was referring
to below.

This change will allow you to specify what ports are used by the web
client, so that
you can then open those ports in the firewall.

Hope this helps.

 Petr,

This is a known limitation of the current TSM Web Client. TSM development
 is working on
this, and is planning to remove this limitation in the next TSM Client
PTF
 by allowing the
user to specify port values for all the TCP/IP ports needed by the TSM
Web
 Client; This
will be done via a new WEBPORTS option.

 As always, standard disclaimer applies.

Re: Client Acceptor and firewall

2000-11-21 Thread Javier Muqoz

This problem I have resolved it of the following form (Windows NT):

In the file dsm.opt there is an option that is called httpport. The sintax is :

httpport port_number.

I have got to resolve the problem with the firewall. But there is another
problem, The service Remote Control Agent go for other port. At the moment I'm
looking for the solution to this problem.
