Final Backup of Nodes to be deleted

2004-08-11 Thread Purushotham, Vivek
Hi All

I have a TSM node to be deleted . So will it delete all data pertaining to
this node.
If it does retain the data , will it allow for restoration to any other
node.

Thanks Regards

Hi Vivek!
You cannot delete a node when there is data for that node stored on the
server.
You can read all about it in the manuals. Take a look at the DELETE
FILESPACE and DELETE NODE commands.

I think its not possible to delete node having/binding data to one management class(s)
. First delete files spaces and then go forwd.
