Re: Listserver question
Yes, if you click on the "Advanced search" link, it will explain how to specify your search criteria. Among other things, it does say that boolean operators like AND and OR are case sensitive, and need to be in CAPS. Another alternative is to just use the '+' (plus) sign to specify your criteria. Thus you could search on: +matthew +bracchi Regards, Andy Andy Raibeck IBM Software Group Tivoli Storage Manager Client Development Internal Notes e-mail: Andrew Raibeck/Tucson/IBM@IBMUS Internet e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked. It appears to me that over the years I have been using this search without the keyword "AND" in caps. For whatever reason, the search engine interprets this differently than I expected. Does this appear to be normal behavior to you? The strange part is though, why would the lower case word "and" cause the engine to spit out the same post twice? Re: Listserver question
Interesting... I guess I spoke a little too soon. While I only did get one hit, the hit was for a post from a while back, not from yesterday. I wonder if there *is* a problem with the search engine, or if it takes a certain period of time before newer posts are searchable (maybe only past months are searchable?). Listserver question
Hi, Is it possible to see also your own postings to the listserver? Sometimes the posting doen't arrive, so now i must check it with an other account. Tia, Maurice van 't Loo Compare Computers The Netherlands +31-(0)6-18052370
Re: Listserver question
You can send a command to the list server. Address a note to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the body of the note, put the following: SET ADSM-L REPRO And that's it... you should receive a confirmation back from the list server indicating that your command was processed. Thereafter, you should get a copy of your own postings (it may or may not be concurrent with the acknowledgement note, but you'll see it eventually).
