Re: Mangled administrator commands
Hello, I see the same thing with client 5.1.5.2 on Windows 2000 and server 5.1.1.6 on AIX. The strange thing is that it started a few days ago. It may have started in conjunction with applying a few MS patches to Windows. But I'm absolutely not sure. Re: Mangled administrator commands
Tom, I have the same setup as you except the server is at 4.2.3.1. I saw the same thing, mangled commands; I am glad someone else saw it. I thought of opening a pmr, but didn't - it is too random and not really a big deal. When this happens the alleged command reported in the error message isn't even composed of ASCII characters; most of the characters displayed seem to come from some kind of line drawing and graphics set. The problem seems to occur more often when the server is heavily loaded. Is this a known problem? If not, does anyone have any ideas for pinning down which piece of software is at fault? -- Bill Colwell C. S. Draper Lab Cambridge Ma.
