Update: Missing dsmj + dsmj.jar in TSM534C.tivoli.tsm.client. for AIX
Hi TSM'ers. after various attempts including submitting a PMR (with no real advice) I finally installed ALL the filesets in TSM534C.tivoli.tsm.client.ba.tar.Z and suddenly the dsmj appeared and worked. Checking further, I found # lslpp -w /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmj FileFileset Type /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmj tivoli.tsm.client.ba.32bit.webFile i.e. I expected the dsmj to be in the tivoli.tsm.client.ba.32bit.base or tivoli.tsm.client.ba.32bit.common but NOT in the tivoli.tsm.client.ba.32bit.web Maybe IBM's packagers made a mistake and put dsmj into the wrong fileset for AIX ??? So far, I've installed more than I wanted to install, but got a working dsmj in the end. -- MfG / Ciao - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Peter Dümpert Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Rechenzentrum der Technischen Universität Fax : ++49/531/391-5549 D 38092 BraunschweigTel : ++49/531/391-5535

Review the client installation requirements in the manual and see if you have Java installed, at the required level. I don't see anything in the Readme file which suggests that dsmj would not be installed if the proper Java were not in place, but stranger things have happened. Richard Sims
