Re: TDP for SQL server error
Remco, It's more than a mistake in an icon. We now have to change our restore procedures and tell our users to ignore an error message when they are in the GUI or to ignore the configuration wizard when it starts. If they do not ignore the wizard and just click the next buttons all configuration files will be overwritten and this will cause the BA client to fail! Hi Eric, No. You should just be able to use legacy style backups. My guess is that the configuration wizard inadvertently added some entries causing this. Check the tdpsql.cfg file. 1. Re: TDP for SQL server error
Hi Remco! Has this changed than? We have been using the (older) TDP client for multiple years but I never had to grant the BA client for TDP clients! Re: TDP for SQL server error
Eric, Long shot: do you use the same node name for the SQL backup as for the reguler OS backup? If not, maybe it detects the hostname of the machine but the dsm.opt has a different (TDPSQL) node name so it thinks you are trying to proxy?
