AW: TSM 3.7 CLIENT problem ANR0444W (out of sequence verb)
We had a similar problem with message unknown verb. The problem was not TSM (Server on MVS 2.8) but TCPIP within MVS. Restore of large files could not successfully finished because of a buffer overflow condition inside the IP stack of MVS, occurring at wraparound of the sequence number of TCPIP. Re: TSM 3.7 CLIENT problem ANR0444W (out of sequence verb)
I've found very rarely that the passwords between the client and server get out of sync. You may want to try resetting the password on the TSM server and then resetting the password on the client.
