Windows 6.3 client install problem
Hi, anybody else having trouble installing the 6.3 x64 client? Getting MSVC100.DLL missing when I try to start it. Win2008 R2. Hans Chr.

Not here. A co-worker installed it on Win 2008 R2 without issue. Started the GUI fine, scheduled backup ran last night. I have installed this on a couple of W2K8R2 servers with no issues. IIRC, during the install process it does make you update a C++ re-distributable library. Thanks, I found out. I am used to unpack it and run the install in a script. But the install now requires some extra Windows components. Så a manual install fixed it. Hans Chr.
