select cmd question

We have a mixed tapes in our 3494 library we have 3590 20Gb tape (shorts)
and we have 3590 extended tapes
and I need to make a count of the 3590 20Gb tapes, my question is there a
select cmd to an mtlib cmd that would
return the count of the 3590 20Gb tape even if they are in use or scratch
tapes ?

Justin - Issue the mtlib command with '-qI' for volume inventory (short form)
 and examine the value of the last column byte relative to your
/usr/include/sys/mtlibio.h vol_class, or '-vqI' (long form) for descriptions.

Select mediatype,count(*) from libvolumes group by mediatype


Then.. you will need to know which mediatype is which.
