Make payment through API
Hello everybody! I didn't find any information about this yet. I've searched through the forums, the API docs and Google and couldn't find any information about the possibility of Make Payment through a request to AdWords API in the same way is we can do at AdWords Panel. Is this possible or this feature has not been developed yet? Thanks! Placement categories
Hi, I noticed that by using TargetingIdeaService we could get a placement's PLACEMENT_CATEGORY. The problem is that we can do nothing with that category ID, especially when we do not have the list of Placement categories, like we have with the Keywords categories. I see that a year ago one of the Advisors mentioned that there were plans to expose the list of categories in the API documentation - that is already done with the keyword categories, what about the placement categories? -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups AdWords API Forum group. Re: Character sets and CSV report file downloads
More details. Below are the http headers from AdWords and from Baidu for pulling CSV files via http GET that have Chinese characters in them. Note that AdWords forces the character set to UTF-8, where Baidu doesn't specify it. I think this is pertinent, because I can tell Java what character set to interpret the data as for the Baidu download, and that seems to work. But it is also important to remember that the only character set the Baidu API has to deal with is for Chinese characters, whereas AdWords has to deal with all character sets. As we start pulling other non-Latin character set performance data in CSV format files, this is going to become an important need. structure report in V201008
I understood that you can still pull structure reports using ReportDefinitionService in V201008. I am trying to pull all campaigns using following code : // Create report definition. ReportDefinition reportDefinition = new ReportDefinition(); reportDefinition.setReportName(getName()); reportDefinition.setDateRangeType(ReportDefinitionDateRangeType.TODAY); reportDefinition.setReportType(ReportDefinitionReportType.CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT); reportDefinition.setDownloadFormat(DownloadFormat.XML); reportDefinition.setSelector(selector); Columns are specified in selector. When I open up XML it only contains one of the campaign from account, right now my account has close to 10 campaigns. Somewhere in the this group I read by default performance report returns zero impressions records so thats how performance report can be used to pull structure info. I tried specifying greater than zero impressions explicitly too in predicate but xml file still has one record. Am I doing something wrong here?
