 It looks like your account is configured to use the Indian rupee (INR)

 guessing that you won't receive any impressions or clicks.

 Eric,

 In your case it looks like the service is returning a fractional
 clicks estimate, which is rounded down for the clicks field to 0, but
 leads to a positive cost.  The Traffic Estimator web interface is
 showing the same results.

Re: BulkMutateJobService (v201008)

The reason I ask this question is that even though in the
documentation it says that if the BulkMutateJob is called with fewer

able to send in request with 10 operations using the V201008 api for

there a change made from v201003 to 201008 now that we are allowed to
send in less than 100 operation via the BulkMutateJob

Re: Abnormal latency after updating urls via api

Hi Eric

We are facing the same issue for Keyword Mutates. Status Bid changes
are not getting reflected quickly on Adwords. Also the response we are
getting is quite erratic. While we tried to change the status of
multiple keywords to Active, the response for all the keywords came
as paused, while on Adwords few of them are shown as active and some
still paused. This can cause major data inconsistencies at our end.

targetingIdeaService result set

2011-01-17 Thread Victor
I am using the targetingIdeaService to retrieve
AVERAGE_TARGETED_MONTHLY_SEARCHES for various broad match keywords. I
set:
  $paging-numberResults=100;
and when I send a list of 100 keywords, only 7 of those 100 keywords
are returned in the result, and then another 93 related or
suggested keywords that are not in my list also get returned. The
reason this happens, is that 93 of the keywords that I sent have 0
monthly searches, so those are not included in the result.

The trouble is, I am being charged for all 100 keywords in the result
when using the API! I only need 7 of them. That is, I only need the
keywords that are in the list that I sent, and not any related or
suggested keywords. If 93 of my keywords have 0 monthly searches, then
only the 7 that do need to be returned, and therefore I would only be
charged for those 7.

How do I instruct the targetingIdeaService to return ONLY the keywords
that are in the list that I send it, without any related or suggested
keywords? The AdWords Keyword Tool has an option for this, to return
only the same keywords that were in my list. How do I get the API to
do this?

2011-01-17 Thread Victor
I tested it by changing IDEAS to STATS and now it is returning all
of the keywords with 0 monthly searches in addition to the other
keywords in my list. What I am wondering is, do I get charged API
usage for the keywords that it returns with 0 monthly searches? If so,
then it is more cost effective in terms of API charges to use the
IDEAS format, because that format does not return the keywords with
0 monthly searches...

Re: TargetingIdeaService v201008 with Custom Country Language

2011-01-17 Thread jmshinn
I'll admit that I'm just getting into this myself so I may be off
here, but:

   // Create language service.
   $languageService = new LanguageTarget();
   $languageService-languageCode='de';
   $languageService-TargetType='de';

First of all, you need to use LanguageTargetSearchParameter to create
the parameter for the TargetingIdeaService, and use your language
target that you've created in there:

$languageTargetSearchParameter = new LanguageTargetSearchParameter();
$languageTargetSearchParameter-languageTargets =
array($languageService);

   // Create country service.
   $countryService = new CountryTargetSearchParameter();
   $countryService-countryTargets='DE';

Second of all, the countryTargets property of the
CountryTargetSearchParameter doesn't take a string (like 'DE'), it
takes an array of CountryTargets:

$countryService-countryTargets = array(new CountryTarget('DE')); //
this should replace $countryService-countryTargets='DE';

... if you make those two changes, and make sure to change
$languageService to $languageTargetSearchParameter in the
searchParameters array, I believe that will get you where you want to
go. Again, still new to this myself so there may be another
implementation error that I'm not aware of, but that should get you
started.

 That's fine, but what's the limit?

 Looks like it's somewhere between ~45K and ~65K.

Re: Google AdWords API -Account Service

2011-01-17 Thread AdWords API Advisor
Hi Remya,

AdWords API doesn't allow you to deactivate an account. I guess your
best bet is to pause all campaigns in the account under question. To
pause campaigns, you can use CampaignService::get to get all
campaigns, and then use CampaignService::mutate to update their status
to paused. See the following code examples for more details on
retrieving all campaigns, and updating a campaign.

Re: Report service giving UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR in downloaded reports

2011-01-17 Thread AdWords API Advisor
Hi,

This looks like an issue at our end, most likely temporary in nature.
But just to clarify, Whenever the report download url throws an error,
the downloaded report contents will always be of the form !!!number|||
reportDefinitionId|||Error code or message. So you need to download
the report at your end, check its raw contents to see if the contents
are valid (or and an error message), and only then proceed to parse it
as the requested format (e.g. gzipped xml).

See
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-php/source/browse/trunk/src/Google/Api/Ads/AdWords/Util/ReportUtils.php
for some sample code on how to handle invalid report downloads.

  Columns are specified in selector. When I open up XML it only contains
