API Token Pending

2011-06-13 Thread Josh Carter
Hi guys,

I've been having some trouble getting my API token to go from pending
to approved or rejected.

I think it has been over 8 weeks now, I believe I had an error with a
credit card which I corrected about a fortnight ago now and I saw two
charges go through that card from Google and the card is now showing
as valid and active for API purchases.

Not sure if I somehow messed up the way that you receive the request
for token due to this billing issue but I imagine I have done
something wrong here when I have done the application.

Could someone please let me know what I need to do here to get this
working.

Thanks in advance

Josh Carter

Hi all:
I am using the Google Adwords API Ruby client example code for downloading a

some unreadable code combined in the report content when it was opened by

Efficient use of InfoService to get method-level usage data?

2011-06-13 Thread Reed
It looks like the only way to get daily API usage data at the method
level is to do a call to the InfoService for each date/service/method
combination. Is that correct? That means I need to drive it off of a
prebuilt list of all service names and the applicable methods for each
service. Would be nice to just give the service name and have
returned an array of that service's methods and their usage numbers.
Is there a chart (other than the rate sheet) somewhere that defines
all of the valid service/methods combinations, including V13 (which
would be a lot more complex than the post-V13 list)? That would also
be useful in uncovering any overlook usages of the V13 API.

thanks,
-reed

error in retrieving all keywords under a campaign

2011-06-13 Thread kush
hi,
i'm trying to get the keywords and all their criteria for each client
account( for one campaign at a time). I've used
adgroupcriterionservice for it. I could get the keywords for few
campaigns and couldn't get for few of them.
Here is my code...

for($i=0;$icampaignId = $campaignids[$i];
  $selector->idFilters = array($idFilter);
  $selector->statsSelector=new StatsSelector();
  $daterange=new DateRange();
  $today = date("Ymd");
  $yesterday = mktime(0,0,0,date("m"),date("d")-1,date("Y"));
  $yesterday = date("Ymd", $yesterday);
  $daterange->min=$yesterday;
  $daterange->max=$today;
  $selector->statsSelector->dateRange = $daterange;

$page = $adGroupCriteriaService->get($selector);

  if (isset($page->entries))
{
foreach ($page->entries as $adGroupCriterion)
{
$adgrpids[$counter]=$adGroupCriterion->adGroupId;
$keywordids[$counter]=$adGroupCriterion->criterion->id;
...
.

$counter++;
}
}

 }

It neither throws an exception nor retrieves the keywords for all the
campaigns within a given client account
It only retrieves for few campaigns and then stops. Please, suggest me
if i've to make any changes to fix this error.

Hi Rob,

As far as I know, and from what my testing indicates, the fields available

Account.companyName = Company Name
Account.login = Primary Login

Let me know if you see cases where these don't line up.

Re: max cpc not correct in experiment results

2011-06-13 Thread Eric Koleda
Hi Patrick,

Unfortunately the adjusted maxCPC for the experimental arm is currently not
reflected in the reports. The core engineering team is discussing ways to
resolve this, but I don't have any information at this time. For the time
being you'll need to use the AdGroupCriterionService to determine the bid
multiplier and adjust the CPC's yourself.

The following URL is extremely helpful:

Notes: TopPosition is called PreferredPosition in the chart(and the

changed to what is in the chart, and I don't know if minimum CPC is

Getting content network's keywords using the reports

2011-06-13 Thread Alexander Parij

Hi ,

I'm trying to figure out a way to download keyword id ,keywordText and
keyword match type using the reports. I just don't see any possible ways to
do it right now using them.
I'm aware of the discussions regarding the missing "Content" keyword row in
keyword reports, but I don't really care about these stats. I just want to
get
keywords on content network. Is that because they don't have performance
stats and they don't belong to the new reports unlike the old structure
reports?

Thanks.

Setting up the Sandbox using the C# .Net libraries

2011-06-13 Thread Mikko
I want to use the AdWords API to do some fairly basic tasks using the
C# .Net libraries but I’m finding the documentation confusing (maybe
I’m looking at the wrong documents?)

I’ve looked at the Best Practises document for using the Sandbox:

http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com/2009/03/adwords-api-sandbox-best-practices.html

And it suggests I need to call getClientAccounts() in order to
populate my sandbox with test data but I don’t see any such class in
the C# v201101 libraries.

Am I missing something? Sorry if this is a stupid question; if there
are already simple examples that cover this question then please point
me towards them!

problem with experiment #167199

2011-06-13 Thread patrick
i've had a problem with experiment #167199.

Even though i had the experiment set up for 50% experiment and 50%
control and had the keyword set as ‘modified’ in the
experimentDeltaStatus i still only had results for control?

Everything seems to have been set up correctly for results in both
experiment and control (which is what i wanted).

I just wondered if there was a problem there with the experiment
collection results etc.

Thanks for your help
