Re: How to create developer sandbox account

2011-07-07 Thread Anash P. Oommen
Hi Aravind,

I'd recommend using a client library to make AdWords API calls if you are
new to the API. See
http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/clientlibraries.html for details.
http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/sandbox.html has details on how to
use the sandbox. For sandbox, your loginEmail/password can be your gmail's
email/password, developertoken is youremail++USD, and client accounts are
client_1+youremail to client_5+youremail.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

Cheers,
Anash P. Oommen,
AdWords API Advisor.

Re: Campaign + Adwords + Keywords Details are not coming

2011-07-07 Thread Anash P. Oommen
Hi Sahdev,

I can think of 2 possible reasons:

1. The campaign id is wrong.
2. The clientEmail/clientCustomerId set on the user object doesn't own the
campaignId you are providing.

Could you confirm if these details are correct at your end? Let me know if
you have more questions.

Re: Get keyword average CPC via Google Adwords API

2011-07-07 Thread veseo
Hi,

So the final answer to our question is that we cannot get the same results
that we are getting from the Keyword Tool UI through the API? Is that
correct and if yes, are there plans to add the option to get CPC from the
TargetingIdeaService?

Need help with Proxy authentication in C#

2011-07-07 Thread Thomas D
Hello,
I'm trying to instantiate a new AdWordsUser, for that I use the App.Config
file by changing the parameters:

http://myproxy.mydomain:8080"/>

in my Main method:

static void Main(string[] args)
{
   AdWordsUser user = new AdWordsUser();
}

But when I run my project, I get an error 407: proxy authentication
required.

My proxy parameters are correct, I have check them in another project which
need proxy authentication.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm using v201101 of the API and visual studio 2010

Thanks for your answers

Thomas

Re: [ReportDefinitionError. CUSTOMER_SERVING_TYPE_REPORT_MISMATCH @ operations]

2011-07-07 Thread Danial Klimkin
Hello Chirag,

I got your log file. The issue is you are trying to run the report on the
MCC account. Currently cross-client reports for v201101 are not supported so
you need to specify which client you want the report for.

You can use clientCustomerId (recommended) or clientEmail header for it. For
more details please refer to:

  http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/headers.html

Re: Can't Run Important Part Of Sample Code

Hi,

You need to copy the system.web node to your web.config as well. See
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-dotnet/source/browse/trunk/src/App.config#50
 for
details. Also, change the line
"Google.Api.Ads.Common.Lib.SoapListenerExtension, AdWords" to
"Google.Api.Ads.Common.Lib.SoapListenerExtension,
ADWORDS_API_ASSEMBLY_NAME_HERE". Also copy the system.net
setting, you need it to handle requests > 64K.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.
