Re: QuotaCheckError.ACCOUNT_DELINQUENT @

2011-11-21 Thread jepster
Hi,

how I can contact the AdWords API support? You're from the api support
team, so I'm on the right way, isn't it? :)

I want to develop my program first - this should be possible in a
sandbox. How I can achieve that? I don't want to pay for every
request, when I'm developing.

Kind regards,
jepster

v201109 ConstantDataService Question

2011-11-21 Thread SEM
Hi,

We noticed that the new v201109 ConstantDataService requires
authentication (auth_token, ClientCustomerID, etc) similar to any
other services. Since, ConstantDataService has methods to return the
list of all supported Carriers and Languages constants, which are not
tied to any account, can you decouple this so that we can probably
just set applicationToken and developerToken in the request header to
retrieve response using this service?

Thanks.

Re: INVALID_REPORT_DEFINITION_ID on v201101 while getting report list

2011-11-21 Thread HK
As Ian mentioned, these do succeed now. However, each report request still
fails the first time around with the same error. During the first retry, it
succeeds. So something is still not quite right.

v13 report service - download reports problem

Hi

We are having problems with downloading reports via v13 report service.
We are consistently getting an error:

Any ideas when will the service work again?

Strange SizeLimitError.RESPONSE_SIZE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED when getting Campaign Targets

2011-11-21 Thread qa+akil.burg...@viagogo.com
Hi all,

I am using the .NET client library to pull AdWords data for an MCC
account. I have been getting a
SizeLimitError.RESPONSE_SIZE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED error when performing a
get of Campaign Targets for all campaigns in _one_ account. The
account has 156 campaigns and there are _no_ campaign targets for the
campaigns (I verified that by performing a get Campaign Targets on
each individual campaign). I don't get the SizeLimitError if I get
targets for up to 85 campaigns from this account in a single request.

Does anyone have idea what the issue is here? It does not make sense
that there is a response size limit error when no targets are being
returned. Additionally, I am able to get targets for other accounts in
my MCC account that have more campaigns and campaign targets than this
one.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

Akil

Dynamic sitelinks array

2011-11-21 Thread Paigey
HI all,

I have an app that stores sitelinks for various accounts in sql, then
when you run the app, it checks for sitelinks to push live. The
problem I have is not all accounts will have the same number of
sitelinks to push live e.g. account 1 may have 5 sitelinks, then
account 2 may have 3 sitelinks.

The function that pushes the sitelinks live works in a for loop so
need to work out a way to dynamically set the number of sitelinks
going live depending on the number of sitelinks for each account.

The bit of code that adds sitelinks:

siteLinkExtension.sitelinks = new Sitelink[] { siteLink1, siteLink2,
siteLink3 };

will only allow a v201101.Sitelink so can't use a dynamic string
array!

Any ideas if it's at all possible, would be great.

Thanks

Paigey

Re: dotnet api and sitelinks take 2

2011-11-21 Thread Paigey
Hi Anash,

Have managed to fix the problem with passing the campaignid and touch
wood no more errors.
Using v201101 and the main problem I was having was the example I was
using which you posted awhile ago targeted v201003 of the api and I
was trying to incorporate code from
v201101 so it was getting confused with some of the calls to the api.
I rewrote the example you posted (http://www.google.com/url?
sa=D&q=http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com/2010/09/discover-v201003-using-
ad-sitelinks.html&usg=AFQjCNFavCUZxtHzd3JnEyoRdmlv068VYA) to work with
v201101. Not much needed to change but let me know if you want a copy
and I'll email you the cs file.

In v201101 as long as the CamapignId's are strings to begin with use
Int64.Parse instead of long.Parse as below:

string campaignid = "123456";
long campaignId = Int64.Parse(campaignid);

In my sql database I was storing the campaignids as integers but due
to the length of the campaignid's being to big for type int, when
parsing them back through the api it was throwing the identity not
found error!
All I did was change the datatype in the database for campaignids to a
string and used Int64.Parse to parse them as long and everything is
working fine now!

I suppose like everything in life it's just a case of trial and error
but got there in the end.

Thanks for your help as always

Paigey
