CRITERIA_PERFORMANCE_REPORT get real name of Remarketing (Audience \ User lists \ Interest list)

2011-12-07 Thread Edward Bells
Hey,

I've notice that when using Criteria Service I can get the real name of the
Audiences criterias.
while in the CRITERIA_PERFORMANCE_REPORT I get names like:
boomuserlist::
uservertical::XXX
which mean nothing to me
Is there a way to get the real name directly from the report or I must use
also the service to get it?

Thanks !

Missing search volumes in TargetingIdeaService

2011-12-07 Thread Martin
Hi!

When requesting search volumes for exact match (Swedish) keywords we
get irregular empty responses for the expected keywords.

When such a keyword is accompanied with other keywords using the stats
source, other keywords may also drop search volumes.

Consider the following related keywords:

'cms'
'content management system'
'laptop'

Something in the relation between 'cms' and 'content management
system' clears the 'cms' and 'laptop' search volumes.

There is a similar problem with:

'whisky'
'whiskey'

The keyword 'whisky', which gets no search volumes, works as expected
when alone: This makes me suspect a faulty duplicate mapping.

The problem can be reproduced in the external keyword tool. Any ideas
on why this is happening?

Question About v201109 Campaign Targeting

2011-12-07 Thread Pete Lavetsky (AdWords API Guru)
In prior API versions when operating on Campaign Targets a TargetList
was created with values and an Operator.SET operation was
implemented. Whatever values were in the TargetList for that
TargetListType were the values set on the Campaign, Operator.ADD and
Operator.REMOVE didn't really need to be implemented

How should the same functionality be implemented in V201109? An
example (
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-java/source/browse/trunk/examples/v201109/AddCampaignTargetingCriteria.java
) shows how to Add CampaignTargetCriteria, but what about updates?

If we want to modify the Platform targets for example, do we need to
do a Operator.REMOVE operation on the Platform Criterion we want to
remove? Or can we create our CampaignCriterionOperation array that
contains only the Platform Criterion we want on the Campaign and use
the Operator.SET for each operation?

Thanks
Pete

Re: Problems downloading URL_PERFORMANCE_REPORT (v201109)

2011-12-07 Thread David Torres
Hi Pablo,

I'm not 100% where in your MCC account are you looking for those numbers
(not sure what you mean by the themes tab, perhaps you are looking the UI
in a different language than English), but I think I have an idea where the
number MCC Panel: 193260 comes from and what is not equals to your URL
performance report.

The reason is that the URL performance report only includes impressions
from sites/urls which have had a certain minimum of impression or
conversions or at least a click, that is why the impressions count will be
lower of what you see in the Networks report in the UI. Altough in the UI
there is a way to get the exact URL performance report that you get from
the API by expanding automatic placements (click show details) then
clicking on See URL list and then select All and that will give you the
same output as the URL performance report.

Best,

-David
