Authentication Issues When Getting Started with Python Client (v201109 / ver. 15.2.0)
Hi, I'm a first time user of the Python AdWords API client. I am unable to fetch a client ID and am therefore encountering many authentication issues. I was successfully able to call the get_campaigns.py script. However, when I call get_client_customer_id.py (after adding my e-mail address to the code) I receive this error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "get_client_customer_id.py", line 73, in main(client, client_email) File "get_client_customer_id.py", line 56, in main info = info_service.Get(selector)[0] File "../../../../../adspygoogle/common/GenericApiService.py", line 320, in CallMethod self._HandleLogsAndErrors(buf, start_time, stop_time, error) File "../../../../../adspygoogle/adwords/GenericAdWordsService.py", line 239, in _HandleLogsAndErrors raise e adspygoogle.adwords.AdWordsErrors.AdWordsRequestError: [ApiUsageError.INVALID_CLIENT_EMAIL @ selector; trigger:'vile...@gmail.com'] Here are my adwords_api_auth.pkl settings: developerToken: vile...@gmail.com++USD userAgent: AwApi-Python-15.2.0 (Python 2.7)|Mediative Test clientCustomerId: password: * email: vile...@gmail.com Here are some notes regarding my attempts: - I have tried several, valid Google Email accounts (all unsuccessful). - I received this error before and after running get_campaigns.py - I am using the Python API client - I am running Linux Mint 12 Thank you very much for your help! Re: Send Reports to my Clients
Hi Silvio. I think that the best way for you is http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=187470 This group is about Adwords API and creating such system within Adwords API is not so simple, as you think. You need to: 1. Setup reports (either manually of by API) 2. Download reports data by schedule 3. Generate document in desired format from downloaded data, for example - PDF 4. Send this report to e-mail 5. Also your program should understand account hierarchy changing (some account can be added, some deleted, etc). Regards, Evgeniy. AdWords API on Java App Engine
Hi, I'm working on an App Engine project to upload some AdGroups to AdWords. However, the current client library doesn't work with it; I'm guessing it has something to do with the App Engine sandbox. Does anyone know the best way to approach the problem? Many Thanks, Ewan PS: On a separate note, I noticed a recent post where I could have posted a link to one of my products as a potential solution to the question: Am I allowed to post relevant promotional links on this forum? -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group. Re: Getting "ApiUsageError.INVALID_DATE_RANGE @ selector.dateRange" using GetClientCustomerId.php in PHP v201109
To answer my own question... I was running the code with the default of today's date, but because of timezone issues here in Australia the 2012/02/05 is not a valid date as records are only going as far back as 2012/02/04 in the US timezone where the server must be located.
