Setting the Location modifier is not supported via API.
Getting the current modifier for Location, Device, AdSchedule is supported.

ApiError.trigger not set when DUPLICATE_CAMPAIGN_NAME is thrown

2013-03-06 Thread Mariusz
Hi,

I have noticed that when creating new campaign with duplicate name, the
AdWordsApiException is thrown. From this exception I can get collection of
ApiErrors to find out which element was in fault. Unfortunately the trigger
field is not set which makes finding out the name of failing campaign much
harder ( I have to store operations collection somewhere and use fieldPath
to locate an entry ). Is it possible to populate this field with campaign
name (similarily as it is done while creating duplicated AdGroup) in future
releases?

Thanks a lot,

Mariusz

Re: Api Adwords connect problem : QuotaCheckError.INCOMPLETE_SIGNUP

2013-03-06 Thread Attila Héjjas
Hi,
I have a very similar problem (getting the same error). I followed this
description on how to get started with the AdWords API:

https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/test-accounts

I have an MCC account (with a pending developer token), and I created an
advertising account under it. The description told me that

"This account will be converted to a Test Account. Make sure the account
has no campaigns created."

and

"All calls made with the AdWords API require a developer token, but the
token doesn't have to be approved for calls made to Test Accounts; you can
make requests against a Test Account while the application is still
pending."

Well it doesn't have any campaigns, but I'm not sure if it's successfully
become a test account or not.

The problem is that I cannot make API calls because of the error.

My MCC account Customer ID is: 635-633-0328
And my advertiser (test?) account Client ID is: 119-297-9585

What did I miss?
Please help!

Best wishes,
Attila Héjjas
