Re: How to post ads based on the location using google adwords api
Hi Shobhan, I'm not 100% clear on what you are trying to achieve, but my guess is that you want to have different ads for different geographic locations. If yes, - Create a campaign + adGroup for the location you want to target using CampaignService and AdGroupService. - Create your location-specific ads in that campaign using AdGroupAdService. - Target your campaign to serve in the desired geo location. Add a Location criterion using CampaignCriterionService. The location IDs are available on https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/geotargeting Here are some C# code examples that you can refer to: https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib/blob/master/examples/AdWords/CSharp/v201409/BasicOperations/AddCampaigns.cs https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib/blob/master/examples/AdWords/CSharp/v201409/BasicOperations/AddAdGroups.cs https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib/blob/master/examples/AdWords/CSharp/v201409/BasicOperations/AddTextAds.cs https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib/blob/master/examples/AdWords/CSharp/v201409/Targeting/AddCampaignTargetingCriteria.cs Cheers, Anash P. ProductSalesChannel retired or replaced in v201409?
While working on upgrading from v201406 to v201409, we noticed that ProductSalesChannel is no longer present as it was in v201406 https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201406/CampaignCriterionService.ProductSalesChannel. The migration guide https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/migration/v201409 kind of makes it look like it's only removed from reports. But, my question is whether the functionality that this setting provided has been replaced with something else? Hi Hans, The replacement for *ProductSalesChannel* will be in an upcoming API release (see our blog post on these changes http://googleadsdeveloper.blogspot.com/2014/09/sunsetting-productsaleschannel-in.html ). In the meantime, if you need to control local vs. online you can do so via the UI. Re: Adding FeedItems to a Feed via FeedItemOperation.ADD
Hi, You can indeed add multiple *FeedItem*s in a single *mutate* call. Simply submit multiple FeedItemOperation https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201409/FeedItemService.FeedItemOperations to FeedItemService.mutate https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201409/FeedItemService#mutate.
