Re: [AWQL] includeZeroImpressions doesn't work with PRODUCT PARTITION REPORT

2015-10-21 Thread Mario
thanks for the answers
@road11: ok, this pointed me in the correct direction :)
@Umesh: that's not what i want: i NEED both: rows with and without zero
impressions. So i do two queries now and combine the data by myself... it
is irritating that there is no hint in the report documentation that
statistic columns do exclude 0 impressions for this special report - while
in other reports 'impressions >= 0' works

VerticalParentId not returned in vertical criterion

2015-10-21 Thread Tiana S.
When requesting data from the AdGroupCriterionService, verticalParentId
isn't returned.

serviceSelector:
fields: ['CriteriaType', 'VerticalId', 'VerticalParentId', 'Path']
predicates: [
field: 'CriteriaType', operator: 'EQUALS', values: 'VERTICAL'
]

{ attributes: { 'xsi:type': 'BiddableAdGroupCriterion' },

  adGroupId: [id_removed],

  criterionUse: 'BIDDABLE',

  criterion:

   { attributes: { 'xsi:type': 'Vertical' },

 type: 'VERTICAL',

 'Criterion.Type': 'Vertical'

 verticalId: '746',

 path:

  [ 'Computers & Electronics',

'Electronics & Electrical',

'Test & Measurement' ] },

  'AdGroupCriterion.Type': 'BiddableAdGroupCriterion' }

In the documentation it says VerticalParentId is in fact
selectable:

I need help with obtaining access to the API (production)

How can I do so? I see that my key is waiting for approval.

How to correctly use CriterionBidLandscape - 'No bid landscapes found' error

2015-10-21 Thread Paul Lo

Hello All,

I always get *'No bid landscapes found'* message with
*CriterionBidLandscape* service, my code is based on

https://github.com/googleads/googleads-python-lib/blob/master/examples/adwords/v201509/optimization/get_keyword_bid_simulations.py

the code reads:

selector = { 'fields': ['AdGroupId', 'CriterionId', 'StartDate', 'EndDate',
'Bid', 'LocalClicks', 'LocalCost', 'LocalImpressions'], 'predicates': [ { '
field': 'AdGroupId', 'operator': 'EQUALS', 'values': [ad_group_id] }, { '
field': 'CriterionId', 'operator': 'EQUALS', 'values': [criterion_id] } ] }
bid_landscapes = data_service.getCriterionBidLandscape(selector)

I'm sure I have correct ADGROUP_ID and CRITERION_ID (keyword id), I want to
confirm that:
1. Why it's 'EQUALS' [criterion_id] rather than 'IN' [criterion_id] or
'EQUALS' criterion_id?
2. Do we need to input CompaignId as well?

{ 'field': 'CampaignId', 'operator': 'EQUALS', 'values': [my_campaign_id] }
3. Is there any other reason for getting 'No bid landscapes found' message?

Thanks,

NegativeCampaignCriterion Url

2015-10-21 Thread MrGapo
HI

I need info how placement exclusion is working on subdomain.

Example:
I have excluded url
m.accuweather.com

Will this means that no requests to the subdomain m.accuweather.com,
m.accuweather.com/hr/hr/split/121161/weather-forecast/121161, etc
OR
it will exclude only m.accuweather.com url

Thank You for answering

Trying to get an API key

2015-10-21 Thread Martin Krivosija
Hi there,

I have been trying to get an API key for over a month now.

I contacted support a while back and was asked to fill out 2 forms. I have
done that and never received a response back. I then tried to email you 5-6
times again, with no response. I have also called and was then referred to
post on this group.

I would like to get an API key, I've been waiting for a long time and need
to get one ASAP.

Please help me out.

Thanks,

Re: Getting country, region, and city names from geo performance report?

2015-10-21 Thread Nadine Sundquist (AdWords API Team)
Hello,

We have "Aruba" under CountryCriteriaId (from previous API) but in the CSV
file Aruba (id: 2533) is under TargetType "Region". We have 22 such entries
for country that appear under "Region" target type instead of Country --
Aruba,Guadeloupe,Puerto Rico,Turks and Caicos Islands,British Virgin
Islands,Cayman
Islands,Kosovo,Other,Timor-Leste,Martinique,Taiwan,Anguilla,Bermuda,Faroe
Islands,Gibraltar,Greenland,Hong Kong,Macau,Mayotte,Netherlands
Antilles,Palestine,U.S. Virgin Islands

=> I don't know if this list has changed recently, but the ones you have
listed look like regions to me. By most international standards, they don't
fall under the category of *Country*.

We have two entries in "RegionCriteria" British Columbia (id: 20114) and
Ontario (id: 20121) that appear under "Province" target type instead of
"State" (like other regions do).

=> Since you said 'other regions', I checked Alberta and Quebec in the
list. Both of them appear as Regions in the list. Subdivisions of countries
can be different depending on the country. Canada has provinces and
territories. The United States has states. Switzerland has cantons, while
other countries won't have that.

Nadine, AdWords API Team

userverticals return old IDs?

2015-10-21 Thread Tiana S.
When querying some statistics the following criterion was returned: Human
Resources with ID 157.
But, in the documentation (
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/productsservices)
is stated that the ID that should accompany Human Resources is 11084.

I still had an old downloaded Verticals csv file in which I checked the 157
ID. There 157 is indeed Human Resources making me think the IDs returned
haven't been updated to the new IDs.
Is this correct or an error?

Thanks,

Tiana

Hi,

When excluding placements, you can specify whether or not to exclude the
entire domain or just an individual page. In general, the excluded
placements will include the entire domain.

Please check out the *Formatting placement exclusions for sites *section of
the Exclude websites and apps

View Size (even estimated) of a CrmBasedUserList

2015-10-21 Thread Hunter
I am simply trying to verify that our test code is able to add hashed
emails to a CrmBasedUserList, but I can't seem to get an estimated reading
of the list size. The CrmBasedUserList that I add 10,000 hashed emails to
returns with a Size of 0 and and a SizeRange of LESS_THAN_FIVE_HUNDRED.

Is this simply because the CrmBasedUserList has not been verified yet? If
so, generally how long does this verification take and what exactly does it
entail?

were added. I can append any other specific information that is needed such

Re: Video Performance Report - missing field data?

2015-10-21 Thread Umesh Dengale
Hello,

The ClickType

 documentation mentions that: -
The Impressions field will reflect how often the ad was served with that
click type available. Since ads can serve with multiple click types
displayed, impressions may be double counted and the totals may not be
accurate.

When the report contains ClickType filed then the fields of type metrics
behavior (e.g. Conversions

, VideoView

, VideoViewRate

, CostConversion

, ConversionValue

 etc.)
will not calculate correctly and will return as 0.

Thanks,
Umesh, AdWords API Team.

Hi Martin,

Have you filled out the second part
 of the application form?
If not, please go ahead and fill it out. Once you submit that form, the
AdWords API Compliance team will respond with an answer within a business
day.

If you DID fill out this form, let me know your AdWords manager account
(MCC) ID (e.g 123-456-7890) and I can check in with the compliance team.

Thanks,

Re: Delete Audience RLSA

2015-10-21 Thread Nadine Sundquist (AdWords API Team)
Hi SK,

1) How to delete all the non-crmbased (non-customer match - email)
audiences in an adgroup? I downloaded the audience performance report for a
particular adgroup but there is no AudienceName field which can be used to
identify a specific audience. If i delete all the audience for that adgroup
using the Criterion ID, the job deletes all the audiences including the new
crm_based_user_lists which are email audiences. Is there a way to delete
only non-crmbased audiences? I do not want to delete the email audiences,
but i want to delete all other audiences.

==> Based on what you've described, it sounds like you have
BiddableAdGroupCriterion

with each having a different user lists. I don't know of a way of doing
that easily by type. As to the deletions that you saw, I'm surprised that
it would delete all of the BiddableAdGroupCriterion given one Criterion ID
of a UserList.

2) Also, is there a field for "Audience Name" in the
audience_performance_report"?

==> Unfortunately, there isn't a field for audience name in the Audience
Performance Report. You could query the AdWordsUserListService

for the name based on the ID if you need that information.

Hello,

The CampaignName, CampaignId, AdGroupName, AdGroupId, ProductGroup,
Impressions columns support the zero impressions. There is no need to
include Impression condition (where clause) in the report. The query will
return rows including zero impressions.

More information about an impression for the PRODUCT_PARTITION_REPORT
described in the report page -- an impression for a product will be
attributed to the row for every product partition that contains the
product. Please see the report description

 with
the example.

Hello,

The Engagements

 and EngagementRate

 fields
are of type metric behavior. These fields will not calculate correctly when
we include ClickType

 in
the selector and will return as 0.

Thanks,

Re: View Size (even estimated) of a CrmBasedUserList

2015-10-21 Thread Anthony Madrigal
Hi,

There are some caveats

for the CrmBasedUserLists which may explain why you are not seeing the
results you want. Some of these include making sure that the emails you add
to the list are associated to Google accounts and that it may take several
hours for your results to appear.

If you that your user lists have met all these requirements, please let me
know so that I can have a look.

Re: Video Performance Report - missing field data?

2015-10-21 Thread Mark Rogoyski
Regarding the Video Performance Report, is there a reason why it lacks
certain fields that other reports have, such as CampaignName and
AdGroupName, for instance? Are there future plans to include these fields?

Thanks.

Hi,

You are correct. There should be no issues trying to disable an ad. I will
need to take a look at why you are unable to create a Template Ad. For
that, could you please send me your SOAP request and response through *reply
privately to author*?

YouTube Campaigns Not Showing Up

2015-10-21 Thread Mark Rogoyski
Hi,

YouTube campaigns don't seem to show up except in
VIDEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORTs. For example, using CampaignService to get a list
of campaigns, the YouTube campaigns do not show up.

Do YouTube campaigns only work with certain services and reports? If so, is
there a list of what those are? Or are there other current limitations with
YouTube campaigns?

I'm using API v201509 and the AdWords account has been upgraded to include
YouTube campaigns.

Thanks.
Mark

How to Set Bids on YouTube Campaigns

2015-10-21 Thread Mark Rogoyski
Hi,

Does setting bids work differently for YouTube campaigns? When
using AdGroupService to set an adgroup bid, I get the following error:
[OperationAccessDenied.MUTATE_ACTION_NOT_PERMITTED_FOR_CLIENT @
operations[0]]

I'm using v6.4.0 of the PHP Client Library against API v201509. The AdWords
account has been upgraded to handle YouTube campaigns.

I noticed that the client library does not have a CpvBid class, so I wonder
if that is the reason, since YouTube campaigns are CPV bids. In the API
call that resulted in the above error, I used a CpmBid object. What is the
proper way to set bids on a YouTube campaign?

The following is the SOAP log of the request:
