Re: Negative and wrong values from TargetingIdeaService PHP

2016-04-15 Thread 'Anthony Madrigal' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Looking at your code, it seems you have a STATS requestType. If you want
the data to return similar to the Keyword Planner
,

you should use IDEAS instead.

Anthony

Files descriptors number is growing

2016-04-15 Thread Евгений Лебедев
Hello.
I'm using the latest php library to work with Adwords API.
I have some background processes which can run for a long time. They use
different services (Campaign, AdGroup, AdGroupAd, etc.).
Process unexpectedly die after some period of time with error 'too many
open files'.
At first I increased the limit of open files in the system and users, but
error wasn't fixed.
Then I watched with 'lsof' all opened files and found out that the number
of file descriptors with TCP connection to Google servers always increasing
without being closed.
Help me fix this problem please.

Retrieving BatchJob by ID returns no BatchJobPage entries

2016-04-15 Thread goingdev
I'm getting 0 entries returned when using the BatchJobService to retrieve a
job by its ID. My code:

Selector selector = new Selector()
{
fields = new string[]
{
BatchJob.Fields.Id, BatchJob.Fields.Status,
BatchJob.Fields.DownloadUrl,
BatchJob.Fields.ProcessingErrors,
BatchJob.Fields.ProgressStats
},
predicates = new Predicate[] {
Predicate.Equals(BatchJob.Fields.Id, jobID)
}
};
BatchJobService batchJobService =
(BatchJobService)user.GetService(AdWordsService.v201601.BatchJobService);
var batchJobPage = batchJobService.get(selector);

batchJobPage gives 0 entries. How can I troubleshoot this?

Negative and wrong values from TargetingIdeaService PHP

2016-04-15 Thread Jiří Zapletal
Hi, I use PHP API v201603. If I make request via *TargetingIdeaService* It
returns wrong values for *SEARCH_VOLUME*, *AVERAGE_CPC* and *SEARCH_VOLUME,*
 *AVERAGE_CPC* in *TARGET_MONTHLY_SEARCHES* only *KEYWORD_TEXT* is correct.

In the picture from *Google AdWords -> Tools -> Keyword planner* You can
see 4 keywords *"Test, auto, autoškola, fasgasg"*

   - test - Search volume: 12 100, CPC: 9,95 Kč
   - auto - Search volume: 27 100, CPC: 9,29 Kč
   - autoškola - Search volume: 4 400, CPC: 6,39 Kč
   - fasgasg - Search volume: -, CPC: -

In this second picture you can see dumped results returned from PHP API in
my APP.

My problem is in different values from AdWords and my APP.

   - KW: *fasgasg*
  - CPC from AdWords: - (0, NULL, or something like that)
  - CPC from my APP: *-*4674422423092159488 (and if it is converted
  from microAmount it will be *-*467442242309215948800)
  - Search value from AdWords: - (0, NULL, or something like that)
  - Search value from my APP: 767580017206867942
   - KW: *auto*
  - CPC from AdW: 9,29 Kč
  - CPC from my APP: 8468354352673602560 (convert from microAmount
  - 8468354352673,602560)
  - Search volume from Adw: 27 100
  - Search volume from my APP: 492248457842398316

Re: USER permission denied issue

Hi,

These are different errors.

USER_PERMISSION_DENIED

 error
occurs when there is no link between the manager account and client
account.

If token was revoked, you would have to generate a new token. Please follow
the OAuth 2.0 Authentication guide
.

You can also try to generate token using OAuth playground
.

Thanks,

Hi Evans,

The TotalCost field was removed in v201601

because AdWords no longer charges for manual calls to Google forwarding
numbers. As an alternative, you should use the Cost field from now on.

Hi Charles,

Could you provide the following information so that we can investigate
further:

1. ClientCusomerID of the adwords account
2. campaign id
3. the criteria performance report you got.

Please click *Reply privately to author* in the forum when responding.

Thanks,

Total cost in Campaign performance report

2016-04-15 Thread Evans Bernier
Hello,

I was using column named "totalCost" to get the total cost for a campaign
for a specified date. Before v201601 API, this column was available. It was
removed on v201601 API. How can I get this information with the new API?

Thanks

USER permission denied issue

2016-04-15 Thread jessica . qi
We have been running adwords reporting API for couple of months. However,
today, we failed to get data.

Basically, 2 errors
1.  [SoapFault][AuthorizationError.USER_PERMISSION_DENIED @ ;
trigger:'']
2. [OAuth2Exception]
  {
"error" : "invalid_grant",
"error_description" : "Token has been revoked."
  }

What we tried:
1. upgraded PHP SDK from 201509 to 201603 - no luck
2. regenerate refresh token - no luck
3. re-generate developer client id, client secret - no luck

Can anyone shed some light?

thanks.

Performance report based on Proximity and Location

2016-04-15 Thread charles
Hi everyone,

I'd like to get a report which could show Proximity and Location
performance ordered by campaign.

I read the documentation on Adwords API, and I found this here

:

Geo performance reporting
>
> You can analyze the effectiveness of geo targeting in your campaigns by
> running reports. The AdWords API provides you two report types to get geo
> performance data:
>
>1. You can use the geo performance report
>.
>2. *You can use the criteria report, and filter by
>CriteriaType=LOCATION or PROXIMITY to get geo performance data for a
>particular geo target.*
>
>
The 2nd point is exactly what I am looking for.

In Adwords UI, I picked a campaign where I have many Locations and
Proximities criterion with a report on the last 7 days.

Then, I downloaded the report through the Adwords API (v201601, with a
dotnet c# client) using this ReportDefinition object (I changed the
campaign Id):

ReportDefinition definition = new ReportDefinition()
> {
> reportType = ReportDefinitionReportType.
> *CRITERIA_PERFORMANCE_REPORT*,
> downloadFormat = DownloadFormat.CSVFOREXCEL,
> dateRangeType = ReportDefinitionDateRangeType.
> *LAST_7_DAYS*,
> selector = new Selector()
> {
> predicates = new Predicate[] { Predicate.Equals("
> *CampaignId*", *000*) },
> fields = new string[] { "Id", "*CriteriaType*",
> "Criteria", "CampaignId", "CampaignName", "AdGroupId", "AdGroupName",
> "LabelIds", "Labels", "DisplayName" },
> },
> includeZeroImpressions = true
> };

definition.reportName = definition.reportType.ToString() + " "
> + definition.dateRangeType.ToString();

In the downloaded criteria report, in the column "CriteriaType", I have 0
row corresponding to a "Proximity" or "Location" whereas I'm using the same
settings on UI and the API.

Can't understand why it's not working. Am I doing something wrong?

Could you try to reproduce this issue?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Charles.
