Re: Stats data are diffrent in 2 reports with same date range

Hello Zweitze / Umesh,

Yes, some campaign Paused between date range.
Actually I have passed filters in between but under account performance
report we cannot do filtering on campaigns so that is the issue.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Thanks

Hi,

Since this is not specific to the AdWords API, I'm afraid its not in my
area of expertise. Adding localhost(127.0.0.1) as the first line in your
/etc/resolv.conf will allow for caching of DNS queries which would be
helpful if there are connection issues. You can find more information here
.

Currently, there is no AdWords API service I know that will allow you to

However, you may try to check with the Content API for Shopping Forum

Master Data Feed

2016-05-26 Thread Thomas Schlegel
Hi, I've been searching around google Adwords API and Merchant Center and
cannot seem to find information on what I need so I thought I'd ask the
question here.

I'm attempting to create a CMS type of application that allows small
businesses to create websites and link/create google merchant and adwords
accounts through my portal. As part of offering this service I'm also
interested in being able to help them build and create their own data-feeds
for their site. I'd like the process to go something like this :

1) I have a master data-feed of all google merchant API products
2) They select which products might be relevant to their business (via
Admin Portal in my site)
3) I then take their selected products and compile them as a datafeed,
create their merchant /adword account, and submit their datafeed.

Is there a programmatic way to do any of this? And is there a master
data-feed available to help me create data-feeds for my clients?

These are pieces of information that I can't seem to find through the
documentation.

Thanks,

Thomas.

In the KEYWORDLESS_CATEGORY_REPORT report, fields Category0, Category1 and Category2 are always blank

2016-05-26 Thread Rob Hesketh
Hi all,

I am trying to download the KEYWORDLESS_CATEGORY_REPORT using the
ReportService. For reference I am using the Ruby 'google-adwords-api' gem,
version 0.18.1.

We are passing the following request to the ReportService:

=> {:selector=>
  {:fields=>
["AdGroupId",
 "AdGroupName",
 "AdGroupStatus",
 "CampaignId",
 "CampaignName",
 "CampaignStatus",
 "Category0",
 "Category1",
 "Category2",
 "Clicks",
 "Conversions",
 "ConversionValue",
 "Cost",
 "CriterionId",
 "CustomerDescriptiveName",
 "Impressions",
 "Domain",
 "ExternalCustomerId"],
   :date_range=>{:min=>"20160523", :max=>"20160523"}},
 :date_range_type=>"CUSTOM_DATE",
 :report_name=>"87536678-b746-4275-9a7a-f81dd9883fff.csv",
 :report_type=>"KEYWORDLESS_CATEGORY_REPORT",
 :download_format=>"GZIPPED_CSV"}

The returned CSV file contains the "Top level categories", "First level
sub-categories" and "Second level sub-categories" columns, but these
columns are always blank. They are blank across all of our clients for all
dates and it seems like we have never imported this field with data in it.
Our analyst tells me that we should expect to see data in that column for
our reports.

I had a look at the documentation and I couldn't find anything indicating
that this field would function differently to any other field we request.
Is there something I am missing? I assume there is some mistake I am making
with the request.

Any advice is appreciated, and if any further information or clarification
is required I will be happy to provide it.

Cheers,
Rob Hesketh

Re: Api very slow

2016-05-26 Thread gianluca . aec

I found that the problem is in the curl call. My server Debian says:

Curl Hostname was NOT found in DNS cacheSomeone says that the problem is
the version of curl:
see
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27093467/curl-hostname-was-not-found-in-dns-cache-error

Adding:
nameserver 127.0.0.1

to etc/resolv.conf (was only 8.8.8.8, first)

helped..

Any other solution?

Re: Stats data are diffrent in 2 reports with same date range

2016-05-26 Thread Zweitze
Maybe some campaigns were deleted between April 24 and the moment you
requested the report?
Deleted campaigns are not always included in the campaign report.

The account report, however, does include clicks, impressions etc. for
campaigns that were deleted later.

Stats data are diffrent in 2 reports with same date range

2016-05-26 Thread Chirag
Hello team,

Getting two different stats for same account in two different reports with
same date range.

Date Range :  Apr 28, 2016-May 24, 2016
Data From Account Performance Report :

Clicks : 707
Impressions : 326155

Data From Campaign Performance Report :

Clicks : 458
Impressions : 151082

Why this are the difference in 2 reports.

I am not finding any difference between Campaign , Adgroup or keywords
report. But only seeing difference in Account Performance Report.

Thanks
