Placement targeting for specific Mobile Apps

2016-08-10 Thread Praveen Maurya

Hi ,

We are trying to create targeting at specific mobile app by entering App
URL as below -

Once user enters it, we can not verify if this is available to target or
not and so user assumes he has targeted it in the expected way. Also we do
not get any API validation response if the App targeting is successfully
implemented.

*So we want to see if this app is available to target in Google display
network or give some error response so that we can prompt user to try
another app for targeting.*
*Does Google provide any App search API or any other alternative approach
to solve this problem?*

In Google Adwords UI, Google returns a list of Apps when App name or App
URL is entered in the targeting field. See below -

Any help will be appreciated by Google API team or Forum experts.

Thanks.

Re: How to Group stats on the basisi of week days

2016-08-10 Thread 'Vishal Vinayak (Adwords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Sachin,

Criteria Performance Report

 is
aggregated at the ad group criteria level, one row per ad group and
criteria combination i.e. it is not aggregated at the Date/Day of the week
level. DayOfWeek field in the report acts as a segment field
,

i.e. adding DayOfWeek to the report segments the report at the Day level
i.e. Monday, Tuesday etc.

Any aggregations that are needed by you would have to be done manually.
However, I can suggest using AWQL
 to extract
only the required data from the report (instead of the entire report) and
aggregating it manually. Please note that AWQL does not support JOIN or
GROUP BY clauses.

Get all account TextAds via API

2016-08-10 Thread Vadim Galanov
HI all, I'm trying to get All ads from my Adwords account via the API
(PHP). I'm using *AdGroupAdService:*

$adGroupAdService = $user->GetService('AdGroupAdService',
self::ADWORDS_VERSION);

$selector = new Selector();
$selector->fields = [
 'Headline',
 'Id',
 'CreativeFinalUrls',
];
$selector->ordering[] = new OrderBy('Headline', 'ASCENDING');
$selector->predicates[] = new Predicate('Status', 'IN', array('ENABLED'));

$selector->paging = new Paging(0, AdWordsConstants::RECOMMENDED_PAGE_SIZE);
$result = [];
do
{
$page = $adGroupAdService->get($selector);
if (isset($page->entries))
{
foreach ($page->entries as $adGroupAd)
{
$result[$adGroupAd->ad->id . '#' . $adGroupAd->adGroupId] = [
'title' => $adGroupAd->ad->headline .
"({$adGroupAd->ad->description1} ...)",
'url' => $adGroupAd->ad->finalUrls[0],
];
}
}
else
{
print "No text ads were found.\n";
}
$selector->paging->startIndex +=
AdWordsConstants::RECOMMENDED_PAGE_SIZE;
} while ($page->totalNumEntries > $selector->paging->startIndex);

And I have only ads from one account's campaign. When trying to find ads
from any other campaigns, API returns nothing.
How to get *All *ads from account from all ads and groups?

  AdWordsUser user = new AdWordsUser();
   AdWordsAppConfig config = user.Config as AdWordsAppConfig;
  config.IncludeZeroImpressions = False

But we are getting some rows with zero impressions. From API we are gettimg
more no. of zero impression rows as compared by code.

But can you please verify why Reporting service is returning the some no.
of zero impression rows?

Regards,
Ketaki.

Re: OAuthTokenGenerator.exe reports "Your browser is not supported anymore. Please update to a more recent one"

2016-08-10 Thread 'Michael Cloonan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hello,

I have confirmed that this is because the OAuth token generation no longer
supports IE6. The WebControl identifies itself as IE6, and therefore is
disallowed by the server side.

The .NET client library team is currently working on an update to the token
generator tool for the library. The updated code, once it is released, can
also serve as an example for how to update your own code. Please keep an
eye on the .NET github client library page for
updates: https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib

Regards,
Mike, AdWords API Team

How to Group stats on the basisi of week days

2016-08-10 Thread Sachin Kumar
Hello Team,

I have to show conversion rate, current bid etc per weekday(Monday to
Sunday) basis i.e one row per each day. Currently we are using 'for'
loop(form 1 to 7 ) in order to get the total data per weekday basis from
criteriaPerformanceReport. As I am using loops it's taking lot of time for
the page to load, so I just want to implement it in otherway. Is there any
way to get the data using GroupBy clause on weekday field or anything
similar to this so that I can bypass the loop and page loading time will be
decreased.

Here is my code:

*Loop:*
  for($i=1;$i<=7;$i++){
$result= $adwordsObj->getstatsDaywise($adwordsUser,
$filePath,$currMonStartDate, $currMonEndDate,$clientId,$i,'',$cId);

$data[] = $result;
}

Re: Campaign Performance Report blank

2016-08-10 Thread 'Joyce Lava' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Perdana,

Could you please confirm if you set *includeZeroImpressions* to true? This
will include zero impression rows in the report generated. If you set it as
true and the issue persists, could you please *reply privately to author*
the clientCustomerId, the sample report generated, and the SOAP request and
response while using GetCampaign.php example code?

Thanks,
Joyce, AdWords API Team

Campaign Performance Report blank

2016-08-10 Thread perdana adhitama
Hi All,

I am using Adwords API to get campaign performance report but there was no
data to return. Here is my code

define('CLIENT_ID', 'MY_CLIENT_ID');
define('CLIENT_SECRET', 'MY_CLIENT_SECRET');

define('REFRESH_TOKEN', 'MY_REFRESH_TOKEN');
define('DEVELOPER_TOKEN', 'MY_DEVELOPER_TOKEN');
define('USER_AGENT', 'MY_COMPANY');

$oauth2Info = array(
'client_id' => CLIENT_ID,
'client_secret' => CLIENT_SECRET,
'refresh_token' => REFRESH_TOKEN
  );

$user = new AdWordsUser(null, DEVELOPER_TOKEN, USER_AGENT, null, null,
$oauth2Info);
$user->SetClientCustomerId('MY_ID');//this is my sub client-customer id
// Log every SOAP XML request and response.
$user->LogAll();

$user->LoadService('ReportDefinitionService', ADWORDS_VERSION);
$selector = new Selector();
  $selector->fields = array('AccountCurrencyCode', 'AccountDescriptiveName',
'AccountTimeZoneId', 'ActiveViewCpm',
  'ActiveViewCtr', 'ActiveViewImpressions', 'ActiveViewMeasurability',
'ActiveViewMeasurableCost');

$reportDefinition = new ReportDefinition();
$reportDefinition->selector = $selector;
$reportDefinition->reportName = 'Criteria performance report #' . uniqid();
$reportDefinition->dateRangeType = 'LAST_7_DAYS';
$reportDefinition->reportType = 'CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT';
$reportDefinition->downloadFormat = 'CSV';

$options = array('version' => ADWORDS_VERSION);

$reportUtils = new ReportUtils();
$reportUtils->DownloadReport($reportDefinition, "report.csv", $user,
$options);

However when I tried to use get campaign as shows in GetCampaign.php it
works. I also tried to change different client customer id between parent
and sub bot none works.

Thank You

Support HD solution image for image ad?

2016-08-10 Thread maxSonic Sun

Hi,

I tried to create the HD solution image ad for an all feature display
campaign, but failed. However, in the UI page of adwords, that is a
description saying that the HD solution is supported. But in the api
document, unlike the one in template ads, there is no way to set the
dimension for HD image. I have asked the support engineer in China for a
long time, he said that adwords engineer will fix this bug in feature,
However, there has been 5 months since I asked this question and google is
not going to fix it?
