Re: Issues: google-adwords-api :v201601 to :v201607 migration

2016-11-02 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Sohair,

You might also want to try our latest version, which is currently the
v201609
.

Could you confirm as well if you have updated to our latest client library

 and
used one of our examples
 (other
languages are also available in the link) in generating reports? If yes,
then you should be able to successfully generate your report. Additionally,
you might also find our reporting guide
 helpful.
I hope this helps and please let me know if the issue persists.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Issues: google-adwords-api :v201601 to :v201607 migration

2016-11-02 Thread SOHAIR AHMAD
Hi All,

I was using google-adwords-api :v201601 of the api, and as we know its
depreciated on August 27.

There is an error that I faced on :v201601

*AdwordsApi::Errors::ReportError (HTTP code: 400, body: !!!2|||-1|||Invalid
version for use with report XML???):*

this is happening when I try to download report with definition using a
well known line

*report_utils.download_report(report_definition)*

Now I tried to update my version to :v201607 and I am unexpectedly facing
this error:

AdsCommon*:*:*Errors:*:*Error (Unknown version 'v201607'):*

Its happening during *report_utils *function call

*API_VERSION = :v201607*
*report_utils = adwords.report_utils(API_VERSION)*

Is there any one to guid me on migration or tell me if I am missing
something during migration ?

Thanks in advance,

Sohair.

How to get Adwords API standard access?

2016-11-02 Thread Brad de Padey
We are developing a keyword tool but in order to do that we need Adwords
standard access. I know you have to apply but does our tool really need to
do everything on here to get
approved: https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/requirements?hl=en

How come this tool is using the Adwords API when they don't do all of the
things on the requirements list: http://keywordtool.io/

When you request stats for a single day, the number of clicks and

Re: How to get express verified calls

Update:

using the following query:

SELECT Id, AllConversions FROM AD_PERFORMANCE_REPORT WHERE ClickType="CALLS"
DURING LAST_30_DAYS

It returns 3 conversions, but Express is showing 6 and even prefix, date
and duration.
I'm quite sure I'm following the wrong approach.

Re: How can i transfer API privileges from one google account to another?

2016-11-02 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Francisco,

By "transferring API privileges", do you mean start using a different
google account to authorize and authenticate the API requests? If so, you
can grant access to a
new user for the account in question and generate OAuth2 credentials

 using
this email account to be used in API requests. Please note that you need to
keep your API contact email up-to-date. You can use a developer token to
target *any* account, even if they're not linked to the manager account
associated with the developer token.

If this doesn't address your concern, could you provide more details?

Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Adwords API not returning Final URLs for ExpandedTextAds

2016-11-02 Thread Paul Grenyer

I'm trying to get the final url array from a Google Adwords Java API
ExpandedTextAdd. I can get all of the other fields, such as the headlines,
description and path urls, but calling getfinalUrls always returns null,
even though the ad being requested has a final url.

This is my selector:

selector.fields(AdGroupAdField.Id, AdGroupAdField.AdGroupId,
AdGroupAdField.Status, AdGroupAdField.Labels)
.orderAscBy(AdGroupAdField.Id)
.equals(AdGroupAdField.AdGroupId, adGroupIds.toString())
.in(AdGroupAdField.Status, "ENABLED", "PAUSED")
.equals("AdType", getAdType());

There doesn't seem to be a AdGroupAdField for final urls. Calling getFinalUrls
on the ExpandedTextAd returns null every time. I'm getting the other fields
such as headline and description just fine.

How can i transfer API privileges from one google account to another?

2016-11-02 Thread Francisco Castillo

I have an adwords account with an API token that works fine and is good for
the volume that i'm managing, but it was created on a legacy domain name
email, and i want to move everything under our current sure and safe domain
and eventually let go of that other domain.

Re: Cant retrieve final url of expanded ads

2016-11-02 Thread Paul Grenyer
I'm having a similar problem, but using CreativeFinalUrls isn't fixing it
for me:

final SelectorBuilder selector = new SelectorFactory()

.build(AdGroupAdField.Id,
   AdGroupAdField.AdGroupId,
   AdGroupAdField.Status,
   AdGroupAdField.CreativeFinalUrls,
   AdGroupAdField.CreativeFinalAppUrls,
   AdGroupAdField.CreativeFinalMobileUrls)
.orderAscBy(AdGroupAdField.Id)
.in(AdGroupAdField.Id, adIdsAsStrings.toArray(new String[]{}))
.equals("AdType", getAdType());

Calling getFinalUrls on the ExpandedTextAd returns null every time. I'm
getting the other fields such as headline and description just fine.

Re: Get account budgets

2016-11-02 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

To retrieve your account budgets, you need to use BudgetOrderService
.

A BudgetOrder
 is an
authorization for a client account to spend a certain amount of money over
the specified period of time. This spend is accrued onto the given billing
account. A Budget
 on the
other hand is used to manage the amount of money spent on your campaigns. A
budget can apply to a single campaign, or shared across many campaigns.

The BudgetOrder contains a lastRequest

 field
that includes information about the status

 of
the request. To You can check the endDateTime

 field
to determine if a BudgetOrder has ended. Please note that
BudgetOrderService is available only to whitelisted AdWords manager
accounts.

why is ads-lib 2.21.0 requiring guava 20.0-rc1 ?

2016-11-02 Thread Christian H.
Hi,

After updating adwords-axis to 2.21., I got the error
   java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class
com.google.api.ads.common.lib.auth.OfflineCredentials$Api

The reason for that seems to be
  java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
com.google.common.base.Preconditions.checkNotNull(Ljava/lang/Object;Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/Object;)Ljava/lang/Object;
at
com.google.api.ads.common.lib.auth.OfflineCredentials$Api.(OfflineCredentials.java:76)
at
com.google.api.ads.common.lib.auth.OfflineCredentials$Api.(OfflineCredentials.java:66)

I am using Guava 19, where this method is not present.

Is it really necessary to use a release candidate as dependency (especially
when the other dependency guice 4.0 is still compiled against guava 16.0.1)?

Best regards

Christian

 387571183 - CANCELING - 0% - 0 ops executed

 393500269 - ACTIVE - 19% - 65000 ops executed

I cancelled the first job after about 4 days of being stuck at 80K ops,

Percentages in Bid Landscapes

2016-11-02 Thread James Preece
Hi There,

When I do bidLandscape requests against Google Shopping Criterions
(DataService getCriterionBidLandscape) most of the values I get back make
sense and match what I see on the front end.

Sometimes though I get very low monetary values (microAmount < 1000) which
here in the UK amounts to bids of less than one penny. In the US it would
be less than one cent.

When the microAmount comes through as 100 this seems to correspond to the
100% values on the front end.

When the microAmount comes through as 50 this seems to correspond to 50%
values on the front end.

However the microAmount sometimes says say 300 but corresponds to the 200%
values on the front end.

I can't find any documentation about microAmounts being used to specify
percentages of existing bids so I hesitate to use these values (I can play
it safe and only use the ones where microAmount >= 1000) but by doing that
I miss out on some of the data as sometimes say the 50% value is only
available here and doesn't have a corresponding entry with

Has anybody else seen this behavior? Is there a way to identify for sure
when these values are percentages of the current bid?

Thanks

James
