Re: some questions regarding drafts and experiments

2016-11-17 Thread Imran Tufail
Hi Vishal Vinayak,

Thank you for you reply, but i have still little confusion.. Suppose i
create a trial from draft campaign, now if i add more Ads to draft campaign
will it move these changes to the *corresponding *trail campaign or i have
to create new trial to make these changes work ?

According to your answer what i understand is, it will not move these
changes to running trail.

Best Wishes,
Imran Tufail

What is the relationship between the Library and API Version?

2016-11-17 Thread Alan Coleman
Hello everyone,

I've been using the Google AdWords API for a number of years now and have
been updating my apps in keeping with the Deprecation Schedule
.

This may sound like a very simple question, but *what is the relationship
between the Library and API Version?*

Should I be updating the library
 every time I update the
API To a new bi monthly version?

A simple explanation of the relationship between the two would be
appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

what is the maximum number of Location Targets

Incorrect performance data

2016-11-17 Thread AdWords API User
Hi,

We download performance data for a number of client accounts.

There have been no changes made to our system, but the performance data
downloaded for yesterday, 16th November 2016, is incomplete for a number of
accounts. Other accounts are still returning a complete set of data. There
is no obvious pattern in the affected accounts.

Can you confirm whether there is a general issue updating the performance
data that is available through the API, or whether this would be something
that could occur because we are using a deprecated version of the API
(v201607)? It is critical that we find a resolution to this issue, because
our automated account optimisation is based on the accuracy of the figures
that we download from Google.

Regards,

John

Audience lists don't get populated

2016-11-17 Thread Dmitry Ovod-Marchuk
Hi,

I was going to launch dynamic remarketing for a number of websites, and I
created a number of audience lists using API for this purpose. But I
noticed a really strange problem. None of my lists created via API gets
populated. I also tried to set up the same lists manually, but it sometimes
worked, and sometimes not. Most of the lists still stay empty.

Customer ID: 976-956-6773 (scaler.adve...@gmail.com).

Could you please check the following lists?

ID 441286117 — "Scaler / product viewers at biotulin.de (manual)") — I
created this list manually
ID 441994128 — "Scaler / product viewers at biotulin.de") — Created via API
None of these two get populated. Why are they empty?

ID 440835967 — "(3) Scaler / product viewers at by.holiday.by" — this is
one is created manually, and it WORKS!
ID 441995202 — "Scaler / product viewers at by.holiday.by" — Created via API
Why is one the lists empty, while another gets populated? Their
configuration is completely the same, so they should populate the same
amount of users, right?

If you need more details — please let me know.

Thanks!

2016-11-17 Thread ntdmbot01
Hi,
I have seen many forums where when accessing campaign_performance_report

I would like to know using selector how can i access the

access clicks, impressions etc instead of downloading.

Please let me know the sample code to fetch the details into an object

Re: Audience Performance Report, UserListName showing ' --' instead of real value

2016-11-17 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Oksana,

The rows where the UserListName is " --" in the API report correspond to
In-market
categories
,

not UserLists
.

You need to use ConstantDataService.getUserInterestCriterion

 method
to retrieve the userInterestName

 for
the In-market categories. For example, uservertical::80131 corresponds to
"Real Estate" and uservertical::80166 corresponds to "New Houses (For
Sale)". You can also use the CSV file provided here

 to
get this data. We highly recommended that you cache the results of this
call as the data set is large and changes infrequently.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: some questions regarding drafts and experiments

2016-11-17 Thread 'Vishal Vinayak (Adwords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Imran,

That is correct. Any further changes to the draft would not be reflected in
the trial, once the trial is created. As mentioned in our Drafts &
Experiments Guide
,

when you create a trial from a draft, the trial works exactly like a normal
campaign and is not associated with the draft (from which the trial got
created) i.e. you no longer need to use the baseCampaignId to reference the
Trial.

Hi Dmitry,

If the user lists created either through the API or the UI have the same
parameters, they should be populated in a similar manner. Since some of the
user lists created in the UI are not populated as well, this doesn't look

Re: What is the relationship between the Library and API Version?

2016-11-17 Thread 'Vishal Vinayak (Adwords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Alan,

We recommend upgrading to the latest version of the API, whenever a new
version is out. For that, you can either follow the migration guide
 and
update your local code to the latest specification manually or you can
update the version of your client libary to the latest, which takes care of
all changes to the API automatically.

Regards,
Vishal, AdWords API Team

Re: Can you tell me how to access campaign performance report its return object

2016-11-17 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

As Alan says, the only formats supported while downloading report are the
ones listed here
.

If you are looking for a response similar to CampaignService
,

I'm afraid it's not possible when downloading reports. You could download
the report in XML format and use a parser to read the required data.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: Incorrect performance data

2016-11-17 Thread 'Vishal Vinayak (Adwords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi John,

AdWords reporting data is not real-time. There is a certain lag between the
occurrence of an event and the event data being available via the API. I
would recommend waiting for an appropriate amount of time before trying to
extract performance related data. To calculate the exact amount of lag
based on your timezone, please refer to our Data Freshness Guide
.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to revert in case you have more questions.

Vishal Vinayak, AdWords API Team

AdGroupExtensionService - max number of mutate operations

Where can I find the maximum number of mutate operations allowed for each

Re: AdGroupExtensionService - max number of mutate operations

2016-11-17 Thread Stepanian
Thanks for the quick response.

That's what I figured initially, but it's giving me the
REQUEST_SIZE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED on the AdGroupExtensionService even if I run
500 operations. I tried 100 and it worked. Is it different for the
AdGroupExtensionService maybe?
