Ad in ad performance report segmented by date has empty date field

2018-09-05 Thread Tomas R
Hi,

Today we noticed an unusual response from AdWords reporting API. One of the
"expanded text ads" in ad performance report segmented by date had an empty
value for the date field. Can you explain why that would happen?

Re: DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED error for test account

2018-09-05 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Teresa,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_

APPROVED

 you're
getting means you are trying to access a production account with an
unapproved developer token. To test with the AdWords API, you need to use a
test client account which should be under a test manager account. You can
follow the steps outlined here

 to
create the accounts. Once created, please use the clientID and clientSecret
generated from an email address of your test account,.

If this doesn't fix your concern, feel free to write back to us with your
complete SOAP request and response logs via *Reply privately to author* so
we can further investigate the issue.

Regards,
Peter

Re: How to map Keywords report and call metrics call details report ?

2018-09-05 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Jorge,

As you have observed, the Call Metrics Call Details Report

 does
not have keyword as a supported field. However, you will be able to get
this data using the Keywords Performance Report

 along
with the Call Metrics Call Details Report. Once you have gathered the
details of the call from the Call Metrics Call Details Report, you can run
the Keywords Performance Report and filter the data for the specific Ad
groups during the same date range and look for the Id

and Criteria

in the rows corresponding to Click type

= Phone calls and Clicks

is greater than 1.

I was able to correlate the data with this condition in my testing. Could
you give this a try and let me know if that works for you. I will also
request for a new feature so that the Call Metrics Call Details Report in
the API will support the keyword like in the UI.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Hello,

The AuthenticationError.NOT_ADS_USER

 usually
occurs when the login used to generate the access token is not associated
with any AdWords account. Make sure to log in with a valid AdWords account
(typically your manager account) for the OAuth flow. Please give it a try
and let me know the user account/email id along with the client customer id
you are trying to access if the problem persists. You could use reply
privately to author option while sharing the details.

Re: Update bid adjustements of campaign schedule.

2018-09-05 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Ludius,

You will be able to use the bidModifier

 field
of the CampaignCriterionService with CampaignCriterion

 as
AdSchedule. Please check the attached SOAP logs on how to update this as a
reference. If you're testing in Java, adding the below two lines of code in
this

 code
sample also will set the ad schedule bids.

AdSchedule schedule = new AdSchedule();
schedule.setId(300096L);

You may refer to the SetBidModifier code samples in other languages here
. Can you
give this a try and let me know if you have any issues?

Thanks,

2018-09-05 Thread Rapishiny
Hello,

I currently have a problem with AdSchedule for ad campaigns.

I can get the bidding adjustments from adwords but I don't see how to

Looking here I don't see any parameters to change:

Thank you for your help and sorry for my english.

Re: In which Service/Report can I get Ads Disapproval reason from?

2018-09-05 Thread 'Dannison Yao (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Vivian,

For ad-level reports, you could use the Ad Performance Report

 instead
of the Ad Group Performance Report. You may get the field
CombinedApprovalStatus

 for
the status of your ad. However, there are currently no fields that can
return the reason of the disapproval. The closest field I can recommend you
is the PolicySummary

 field,
where it can retrieve all policy-related information of an ad.

As for the service, you may check if the fields PolicyViolationError

 (if
you create an ad with policy violation issues, your ad won't be created and
this error will be generated) or PolicyTopicEntry

 will
fit your needs. You will be able to retrieve policy-related information in
those fields. Could you confirm if this is the answer you are looking for?

Regards,
Dannison

Deprecated german AdWords API reference

2018-09-05 Thread Markus Heiden
The current AdWords API references are not linked in the german "reference
index
page" https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/?hl=de.
The most current version mentioned there is 201702.

Please fix that, e.g. by linking to the english page.

Regards,
Markus

In which Service/Report can I get Ads Disapproval reason from?

2018-09-05 Thread Vivian zhang
Hello,

I want to get a report from Google API for the information below:
Ad Group Id, Ads, Ads Status (approved, disapproved, etc.), Disapproval
reason (eg. trade mark, Circumventing systems, etc.)

I am seeing report:
Ad_group_performance
has ads status info, but not disapproval reasons

Also, service:
AdGroupAdService
also has status info, but does it includes disapproval reasons?

Or, are there any other report/service I can pull from?

Thanks
