Is there a maximum of accounts to upload in Flexible Budgets Script?

2018-11-05 Thread mnapolitano via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

Hi all I would like to know if there is a maximum number of accounts
allowed in the script " Flexible budgets
"

at the MCC level? I have a client who can not upload more than 15 accounts.
I do not know if it is setting something wrong or if there is a limit Thank
you Flor

Re: "cannot_modify_Ad" Error Updating Final URLs for Ads

2018-11-05 Thread pjodonov
Thanks Sreelakshmi! To confirm, the API doesn't have the ability to edit
URLs for regular image display ads, youtube, or gmail ads? Will it ever
have that capability?

Re: "cannot_modify_Ad" Error Updating Final URLs for Ads

2018-11-05 Thread pjodonov
Hi Sreelakshmi,

I would like to give you my larger processes plan and see if you have any
other ideas for me. I'm working on a tool that creates URL tags and
validates their inputs. I want to take an export from Adwords or our 3rd
party search management platform and upload that into my tool to provide
the inputs to the tool on how to create the URL, and then automatically
pass the URL to the correct Ad via the API. One of the inputs that I would
need to create this full URL is the base URL with no tags, which I was
planning on grabbing from the already created ad.

If I cannot modify URLs for regular display/video/gmail ads after an ad has
already been created, does it make sense to take in all the information
needed to create the final URL, and then overwrite the entire ad, including
the URL, back to Adwords? Is that possible and do you see any issues with
that solution? I'm not sure how the creative would be exported and
imported in that situation...

Thanks!
Pat

Report Generation

2018-11-05 Thread Albert Paolo Rogelio
Hi this is my long time problem, is it really not possible to generate
account performance reports just like in adwords platform? coz we are
developing an adwords tool to have a different view from adwords platform
but as fast as it is. im using parallel report download and it is
requesting data for 3 seconds per account and i have 119 accounts in 1 mcc
and it is a headache for me. is there any way to generate a report download
for atleast 1second or .5 second per request?

How to get keyword which initiated search ad showing?

2018-11-05 Thread fp . mmc . mail
I thought it would be possible to get keyword by GCLID. But after reading
this forum I got doubts. My question is - does it possible to get click
info (keyword, campaignName, groupName etc, the most important it's
*keyword*) with help of GCLID? Or the only way it's ValueTrack?

Also my questions are:
- how to send manage account request to the client google ads account
programmatically?
- how to set ValueTrack parameters in client google ads account
programmatically?

Thanks in advance to anybody how will help!

Missing output of the RelatedToQuerySearchParameter

2018-11-05 Thread Dariusz Kajtoch
I am using *TargetingIdeaService* to get keyword ideas. Specifically, I use
*RelatedToQuerySearchParameter* (RTQSP) option to provide keyword seed. The
output looks almost exactly like in a new version of the Keyword Planer
(list of loosely related phrases), except the keyword I put into RTQSP is
not listed there, even though it appears in the web version (has non-zero
average monthly search). I am not sure if this API call simulates the new
version of the Keyword Planer. If not, how can I achieve that?
I have Basic token access and I use Python client. Also, my language is
polish and localization: Poland.

Offline Call Conversions Upload Error - Getting "InternalApiError.UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR"

2018-11-05 Thread joel
Hello,

We're currently trying to upload offline call conversions to a custom call
conversion goal we created in our MCC account. We have successfully
performed this process with normal conversions (conversions from clicks -
with Gclid). However, we can't seem to succeed doing so with Call
Conversions.

*Background information:*

*-* We're using Java to communicate with the AdWords API
*-* We're working with the following library version: v201809
*-* We're specifically working with these libraries:

   - UploadCallConversionFeedService
   - OfflineCallConversionFeedOperation

*The problem goes as follows:*

*1.* We have followed all the instructions as explained in the API
documentation: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6275629
*2.* We created the new conversion goal last friday, so it has been enabled
for more than 48 hrs.
*3.* We have prepared the data in accordance to the documentation mentioned
above. Specifically, we have used the right formats to enter the time zone,
call start time and conversion time.
*4.* When we try to upload the conversions without the country prefix (+34)
we get the following error:
OfflineCallConversionError.UNPARSEABLE_CALLERS_PHONE_NUMBER
*5.* When we add the country prefix (In this case +34) we get the following
error: ApiException{applicationExceptionType=ApiException,
errors=[InternalApiError{apiErrorType=InternalApiError,
errorString=InternalApiError.UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR, fieldPath=,
reason=UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR, trigger=}]}

I haven't been able to find the right answer to this question in other
posts. Calling AdWords Support hasn't been useful either as most support
representatives are not technical enough to help us with this problem.

Thank you for your help!

myBusinessAccountIdentifier lost

2018-11-05 Thread api . fwmoc . 01
Hi.

We have the following occasional problem: After uploading a MyBusiness
location extension feed to an account, the `myBusinessAccountIdentifier` in
the `SystemFeedGenerationData` is null. Even though it was set on upload.
Is there some possiblity of accidentally deleting the identifier? Or is it
not returned in reports? That problem happens sometimes and we were not
able to find the causes.

Thanks.

Looks like you are trying to add negative keywords to the AdGroup. Instead
you could use NegativeAdGroupCriterion

add negative keywords to your AdGroups. You could also refer to the code

Asset id in universal app campaign

2018-11-05 Thread esteban
Hello

I have a universal apps campaign which in the adwords UI I see the assets,
well now by the api using the AssetService I try to consult the AssetId
using the get with a selector, but I do not get results.

I need to know the id or some field that can identify my assets, to be able
to pause or eliminate them.

Currently the API can not bring the id of my assets? is there any other way
to identify my assets and be able to eliminate some or pause them?

Regards,
Esteban

Re: How to upload user data csv file in adwords account using PHP API

Hello Avinash,

Could you please elaborate this "encrypted user data saved in csv file" and
the scenario you are trying to assist you further?

Please note that redirect_uri_mismatch may occurs because of different
application type(Web or installed application), you have to use correct
application type and then generate the OAuth credentials again. You could
refer this guide

 to
generate OAuth credentials. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: Report Generation

2018-11-05 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Albert,

The report generation time typically depends on how big the report is for
each API call for a single account. In this case, as you are downloading
the reports from each account in the MCC, which means making API call for
each account, it may take a few mins. If this is repetitive process, maybe
you could adjust the date range in such a way that you are only downloading
the newer data which your database does not already have and save the data
in your database every time you make the API call. This may not be a
tremendous reduction in the time as the real issue here is the number of
accounts that you need to fetch data from.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Re: How to get keyword which initiated search ad showing?

2018-11-05 Thread 'Teja Makani' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello,

You could get CriteriaId

, GclId

, AdGroupId

 and CampaignId

 using
the ClickPerformanceReport

 via
AdWords API. Below is my response *inline* for your questions:

   1. how to send manage account request to the client google ads account
   programmatically?
If you are trying to link accounts to your manager account, you could do
   that by using the ManagedCustomerService.mutateLink

 also
can refer the linking accounts section of this guide

   .

   2. how to set ValueTrack parameters in client google ads account
   programmatically?
You could use the s

pecific
  API
service to set the trackingtemplateUrl with the value track paramaters in
it. For instance, to set the value track parameters for a keyword, you will
   need to use the BiddableAdGroupCriterion

 via
   AdWords API programatically.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Sai Teja, AdWords API Team.

Re: Missing output of the RelatedToQuerySearchParameter

2018-11-05 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello,

The API results should be similar to the functions under "Find new keywords
and get search volume data" in the keyword planner UI. However, it is not
guaranteed that the results in the API will be an exact match of the
results in the UI. To take a closer look, could you share your SOAP request
and response along with your CID? Please note that when using test accounts
,

the TargetingIdeaService will return dummy data. Hence, you need to be
making the calls against a production account to test this. Please use
reply privately to author while sharing the details.

Thanks,

Re: how to get all searchterms and exclude them

2018-11-05 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello,

To get the search terms which triggered the ads in an ad group, you can use
the Search Query Performance Report
.

To get the data at the ad group level, you could add a predicate to filter
by adgroupid
.

You will not be able to delete the search terms. If you would like to
delete the keywords which are same as search terms, you will need to use
AdgroupCriterionService.mutate()

 and
perform a mutate call to remove the specific keyword. Please check the
RemoveKeyword

 code
sample in Java for reference. To add that as a negative criterion at the
campaign level, you could use the CampaignCriterionService

 and
add the NegativeCampaignCriterion
.

Please check this code

 sample
in Java for reference. Code sample in other languages can also be found here
. Please
let me know if you have any additional questions.

We are running an annual developer feedback survey. Please take opportunity
to leave feedback on
how we can make managing campaigns at scale even easier.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Re: Offline Call Conversions Upload Error - Getting "InternalApiError.UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR"

2018-11-05 Thread 'Dannison Yao (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Joel,

The UNPARSEABLE_CALLERS_PHONE_NUMBER

 error
message may occur if the caller’s phone number cannot be parsed due to
incorrect format. It should be formatted either as E.164 "+16502531234",
International "+64 3-331 6005" or as a US national number “6502531234”.

While the UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR

 error
message may occur if the service request is too big. This may cause a
temporary resource related issues in the AdWords API server.

If after correcting the phone number format and the error is still
persisting, could you provide the complete SOAP request and response logs
generated when the error was encountered so I could investigate on this
further? You may use the *Reply privately to author* option.

Re: how to get all searchterms and exclude them

2018-11-05 Thread mkalinski
Thank you Sreelakshmi for your fast reply,

If we can get the Searchterms by using the Search Query Performance Report,
we would be able to check each term with our own Keyword list. If the word
isn´t matching, we could potentially add the searchterm as a negative
Keyword, so it will be excluded next time.
That would actually solve my Question.
I thing I am able to create something out of it.

Thank you for your time and guidance.

Re: how to get traffic estimates for keywords for a single campaign?

2018-11-05 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello,

Ideally, the request should be containing criteria for the specific
keyword, its ad group and its campaign level details. The estimates being
for the specific keyword, you could split the requests to contain data from
a few ad groups so that the API will not hit this limit of number of
criteria in one API call or number of keyword estimates in one API call.
Please let me know if that helps.

Re: "cannot_modify_Ad" Error Updating Final URLs for Ads

2018-11-05 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Pat,

Yes, those Ad types are not supported by AdService. Hence, you may need to
remove the old ad and create the new ad with the updates. This will create
a new ad and you will no longer have the historical stats associated with
it. You will be able to see the historical stats associated with the old
ad.

>From the description, it looks like it would be ideal to use your tool
before you create the Ad itself. You could start working with the proposed
Final Url and let the tool come up with the correct url. You could then use
the API to create the ad with the correct Url. Ads not being able to be
modified for all types is a product level limitation. You can verify this
in your test Google Ads account from the UI. For instance, modifying an
image ad will create a new version of the ad and remove the old one.

If you would like, you can also post this question on the advertisers
community forum

to
see if the product experts there have any suggestions.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Hello,

Thanks for your patience. There is an update on this issue, you can create
a new test client account under the existing test manager account and the
API requests should work with unapproved developer token. Please note that
the requests to the existing test accounts is not yet fixed. Please give it
a try and let me know if you are facing any issues.

Re: Asset id in universal app campaign

2018-11-05 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Esteban,

If you do a CampaignService.get()

and look for the details in the UniversalAppCampaignSetting
,

you will be able to get the youtubeVideoMediaIds

and imageMediaIds
.

You should then be able to use the MediaService.get()

and filter by the above ids to get the asset details. This code

sample in Java shows how to get all media using the MediaService. Samples
in other languages can also be found here
. Please
give this a try and let me know if you are facing any issues.

Thanks,

Hi,

I would like to inform you that the DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT _APPROVED error you
encountered is now fixed. The fix will be only available to newly created
client test accounts. This said, kindly create a new test client account
under your existing test manager account (you don't need to create a new
test manager account). Let me know if you encounter problems.

*Note*: We are running an annual developer feedback survey. Please take
