Hi Frode,

Thank you for reaching out. To further investigate this, could you provide
the complete request and response logs when you encountered the error? You
could reply via *Reply privately to author* option. If you haven't enabled
logging, kindly tell me the client library you are using so I could assist
on how you could enable it.

Google Ads API: Unable to get ConversionAction

2019-03-26 Thread rentcafedev1
Hello,

I'm unable to get then ConversionAction of a conversion I created.

I used the following to no avail.

 string searchQuery = @"SELECT conversion_action.id,
conversion_action.name, conversion_action.tag_snippets FROM
conversion_action LIMIT 50";
PagedEnumerable searchPagedResponse
= googleAdsService.Search(request);

 or using

ConversionAction request =
conversionActionService.GetConversionAction(conversionResourceNames[i])
Example conversion resource name: customers/removed for
privacy/conversionActions/316893566

  I
I attended your workshop on March 20, 2019 in San Francisco and one of your
co-workers verified that the conversion resource name I was trying to get
was in your system.

searchPagedResponse and request are empty.

I cannot supply you with the any logging because I'm using the .NET
libraries and logging is not available.

Thanks

Google Ads API V1.0 - CONTAINS operator

2019-03-26 Thread jason
Hi Google Ads team,

I keep on running into an 'invalid argument' error whenever I try to build
a query using the CONTAINS operator
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/query/grammar).

e.g. WHERE campaign.name CONTAINS NONE ('Example')

Referring to the interactive query builder, the filters don't seem to
support it
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/query/interactive-gaql-builder).

Is this feature available?

Hello Jordan,

Thank you for sharing the details. To clarify this further, if the
Universal App Campaigns has any Universal App ads, they will be returned
through the Ad Performance Report which is currently a whitelisted feature.
Since the specific campaigns do not have any Universal App Ads, the Ad
Performance Report cannot be used to pull the data for the campaigns. You
will need to use the supported report types listed here

.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

RE: Hotel Campaign Bidding strategy manual CPC

2019-03-26 Thread googleadsapi-forumadvisor via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

Hello Didier,

For manual CPC bidding strategy you could use the MANUAL_CPC enum value as
BiddingStrategyType
.
Also, a new version v1 for our Google Ads API
 is on
place and code samples for adding Hotel Ads can be found here
.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Sai Teja, Google Ads API Team

Operations on different kinds of entities in a single request

2019-03-26 Thread Vitaly Dukhota
Hi,

I know it's possible to mutate multiple entities of the same kind in a
single request, and the operations will be done atomically (all or none).
For example, it's possible to create multiple campaign operations and
submit them all in a single atomic request, but the problem is that they
all have to be of the same kind (only campaign operations for the example).
I also know that it's possible to create a batch operation with can mutate
entities of different kinds (for example, both campaigns and ad groups) in
a (kind of) single request. The problem with batch operations is that they
are not atomic - some operations might fail whilst others will be completed.

My question is: is it possible to create entities of different kinds in a
single atomic operation? For example, I want to create a complete hierarchy
of entities (budget-campaigns-ad groups-ads-keywords) for a newly created
managed account. Is it possible to create the hierarchy atomically?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Could you please disable the request account link email for our manager

We process all the account linking through the API so the customer does not

Thank you.

Problems to get local campaign type via API

2019-03-26 Thread Spain Api
Hi!

I'm trying get local campaign type via API. I'm using
Google.Api.Ads.AdWords.v201809 with the next query:

select CampaignId, CampaignName, CampaignStatus, StartDate, EndDate,
AverageFrequency, ImpressionReach, SearchImpressionShare,
SearchRankLostImpressionShare,
SearchBudgetLostImpressionShare, VideoQuartile25Rate, VideoQuartile50Rate,
VideoQuartile75Rate, VideoQuartile100Rate,
AdNetworkType1, AdvertisingChannelType, AdvertisingChannelSubType
from CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT and AdvertisingChannelSubType NOT_IN
[UNIVERSAL_APP_CAMPAIGN] during 20190305, 20190317

I'm excluding the UNIVERSAL_APP_CAMPAIGN because it has another type of
proces.

The aforementiones query isn't returning the campaigns of local type. I've
read in another post that API doesn't return this type (Local) of
campaigns, is that correct?
Is there any way to recover the data of this type of campaign?

Regards.
