Our question is, is there a way we can update an AppAd after created?

Also we tried removing the ad and creating a new one and seems like the
adGroup get's broken, because the old ad and assets stay there and the new
assets are added on top, but when you go to the edit page of the ad you
still see the old headlines, descriptions, etc.

Is there documentation where this limitations are specified and how to
handle them? where are taking as reference teh examples specified in:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/client-libs

This is the string of the update operation without the ids for privacy:

resource_name: "customers//adGroupAds/~X"
status: PAUSED
ad_group {
  value: "customers/XXX/adGroups/"
}
ad {
  id {
value: X
  }
  type: APP_AD
  app_ad {
headlines {
  text {
value: "Changed Headline 3"
  }
}
headlines {
  text {
value: "Changed Headline 4"
  }
}
headlines {
  text {
value: "Changed Headline 5"
  }
}
descriptions {
  text {
value: "my description"
  }
}
  }
}

*Update mask:*
paths: "ad.app_ad.headlines"

Thank you very much

Is that still the case even with v3?

Is there any projected timeframe when this functionality will be available?

Rate Limits - AdWords API vs Ads API

Hi,

We have applications already using the AdWords API and are in the midst of
developing a new application using the Google Ads API beta v3_0. Do these
two APIs share the same buckets for rate limiting under the hood or are
they separate? I wasn't able to find an answer to this question in the
existing documentation.

Thank you!

Unfortunately, this feature is still not available in v3 of the API. You can

Re: TargetingIdeaService api returning different results than Google Ads "Add Keyword" component

2020-03-18 Thread Jacob Peebles

Thanks, Anthony,

As usual, we appreciate the response.

Thanks for the reference url however we arrived at that through the
protofiles.

Could you share a sample json payload? A few times in the past you
included that in your response and that has unblocked us. To add more
context we are using our own custom go library hence the ask.

Thanks,

Jake

Re: TargetingIdeaService api returning different results than Google Ads "Add Keyword" component

2020-03-18 Thread Jacob Peebles
Hi Anthony and Team,

Since our last post we've overcome the need for the payload, we were able
to backward engineer it. So please ignore that request.

...But here is our issue...

We cannot produce the results you see in the original post (which you can
see here in the screenshot) regardless of the API type (AdWords or Ads
beta). Both of those endpoints give us the same results both of which are
NOT what we see in the interface.

Can someone give us direction on how to create this exact result, whatever
API version, whatever parameters, whatever endpoint? At this point, we've
tried any number of variations on both API's and none of them produce what
is in the interface.

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Jake

Re: About obtaining the cost amount for the account on the management screen

2020-03-18 Thread 矢崎慎悟

Dear, Google Ads API Team

Thanks for the reply.
Let me check one more.
This is the fifth cost from the left of the list of pages of the following
URL on the Google Adwords management screen, but is this also the same as
the account balance and can not be obtained?

https://ads.google.com/aw/billing/budgets

Please check it.

Regards,
Shingo Yazaki

Re: Not able to set cpc limit using google adwords api

2020-03-18 Thread Asif Saeed
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I am adding bid like this in CampaignService

$campaign->setAdvertisingChannelType(AdvertisingChannelType::SEARCH);

// Set shared budget (required).
$campaign->setBudget(new Budget());
$campaign->getBudget()->setBudgetId($budget->getBudgetId());
$biddingStrategyConfiguration = new BiddingStrategyConfiguration();
$biddingStrategyConfiguration->setBiddingStrategyType(
BiddingStrategyType::TARGET_SPEND
);

// You can optionally provide a bidding scheme in place of the type.
$biddingScheme = new TargetSpendBiddingScheme();
$biddingScheme->setBidCeiling($_GET['cpc'] * 100);
$biddingScheme->setSpendTarget($_GET['cpc'] * 100);

$bid = new CpcBid();
$money = new Money();
$money->setMicroAmount($_GET['cpc'] * 100);
$bid->setBid($money);
$biddingStrategyConfiguration = new BiddingStrategyConfiguration();
$biddingStrategyConfiguration->setBids([$bid]);

$biddingStrategyConfiguration->setBiddingScheme($biddingScheme);

$campaign->setBiddingStrategyConfiguration($biddingStrategyConfiguration);
but this now throws an error

PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught
Google\\AdsApi\\AdWords\\v201809\\cm\\ApiException:
