Internal server error

2020-05-14 Thread Kelly Dougan
I am writing to determine the cause of an error I got using the python
google ads api to make the following query:

The error I received was:

Hi Nadine

Here is my case:

1. It shows "manager (closed)" there (screenshot 1)
2. After I got redirected after creating account, the test account didn't
get created (screenshot 2)

So don't know what to do...

Thanks

Hi Dannison,

how can I attribute the account's conversions event to a campaign throw
AdWords API?
If there is this possibility, can I have the link of the developer guide?
Thank you so much

The API Center section that you need to navigate to to apply for a developer

Hi Apithana,

For your concern with the developer token, you will need to use your own
developer token as your app is trying to access the API. Developer tokens are
legal entity specific, so users should not share their developer tokens. To
pull a list of customers under a managing account, you can use the customer
report. Let me know if you have further questions.

segments.date problems

Hi there,

Using v2 or v3 GoogleAds API I have problems in one of my accounts
including segments.date in queries.

1.- SELECT campaign.name, metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks,
metrics.cost_micros FROM campaign -> results OK
2.- SELECT campaign.name, metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks,
metrics.cost_micros FROM campaign WHERE segments.date during yesterday ->
results but all the metrics 0
3.- SELECT campaign.name, metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks,
metrics.cost_micros,segments.date FROM campaign WHERE segments.date during
yesterday -> empty response

Thanks a lot,

Re: Can developer token work with any test account?

2020-05-14 Thread Tal Lipits
Hi Anthony,

Yes, this is what I did.
I guess for now I will wait for my dev token to get Basic access approval.
Alternatively if creating a test client using the UI works again, I would
use that.

Thanks for all the assistance,
Tal

Hi Tal,

When creating the test client account, you should use the credentials for the
test manager account and specify its CID here. If you continue to face issues,
you may need to create through the UI. The form you mentioned is the correct
form to get Basic access.

Hi Chris,

Yes, I received your private message. I was unable to replicate the data you
were getting. I believe when you were getting the data from each source that it
was catching snapshots while it was updating. Since the numbers should have
stopped updating, the numbers should be the same. If you want the data to match
up, you should create the reports at the same exact time. Let me know if you
still face issues.

Different values for Adwords API and Google Ads API.

2020-05-14 Thread David Nogén
Hi,

I'm trying to run the following queries against Adwords and Google Ads API
but I'm getting different responses none of which is equal to what can be
found in the Google Ads UI.

Adwords: SELECT FeedItemId, Date FROM PLACEHOLDER_FEED_ITEM_REPORT DURING
20200411,20200510
Google Ads: SELECT feed_item.id FROM feed_item WHERE segments.date BETWEEN
'2020-04-11' AND '2020-05-10'

For Adwords I get 57 unique values for FeedItemId but for Google Ads I get
169 unique values. In the UI there is around 4500 values. What is going on
here?

Is there any reason this would be pulling Extension Feed Item ID instead.
Is pulling Extension Feed Item ID an option in the Google API?

Re: Can developer token work with any test account?

2020-05-14 Thread Tal Lipits
Hi Anthony,

Thanks for the link. I tried running the code, but got
AuthenticationError.OAUTH_TOKEN_INVALID when
calling managed_customer_service.mutate(operations).
My config yaml has client_id, client_secret and refresh_token which I
created by following the steps in this doc
.
I get this exception when using both of my adwords manager accounts -
production and test.
I also followed the steps suggested in OAUTH_TOKEN_INVALID
,

but using refresh token, rather than access token.

If customer id is required to path authentication, then may be I need to
have an initial customer id in order to create new customers using this code
?

In other words, may be the initial step has to be from the UI?

So I guess the next step for me is to have my developer token approved for
basic level access, by filling up this form
 and waiting for approval,
correct?

Thanks a lot for all the help and references,
Tal
