Retrieve Feed Item status via API

2020-09-04 Thread Radu Galesanu
Hello,

I'm using the AdWords API to create a Dynamic Remarketing Feed. I have
successfully added feed items to the feed. Some of the items show a status
of disapproved, for various reasons. I would like to be able to retrieve
these items via the Feed*Service APIs.

Can I use any service and/or AWQL to retrieve feed items that were
disapproved?

For feed items retrieved via the API, can I inspect the approval status?

Thanks!
Radu

As I had mentioned earlier
I don't have any UI ready yet. Currently, I just want to read the file in
python using API and work on it. Is having app mandatory?

RE: How is the metric search impression share aggregated?

2020-09-04 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Aram,

Thank you for reaching out. Doing the total search_impression_share calculation
is not simply adding up the individual search_impression_share and having it
divided by the number of items. For instance, in your case, if 479 is the total
impressions, you would need to use this formula (89.62% * 285 + 89.40% * 194)
/ 479 = 89.53% to calculate the total search_impression_share.

Getting OfferID/ItemID from shopping campaigns with correct case

2020-09-04 Thread Pradeep Sankaran
Hi

I have the script below to export OfferID (or item ID) that meet a
specific criteria in my shopping campaigns to a google shee. In this case,
my criteria is >50 clocks and <0.4 conversions.

Next I use this google sheet as a supplemental feed in merchant center, and
then define feed rules to add a custom label to item IDs in the sheet. Goal
ultimately is to use inventory filter in my google ad campaign to exclude
some item IDs.

The issue I see is that merchant center feed rules are case sensitive. The
google sheet output from script has only small letters for OfferID

.

Does someone know how to extract OfferID with the correct case using script
in google ads? Or make merchant center feed rules work in a way that is not
case sensitive when matching item IDs?

Re: AWQL query Python List Variable

2020-09-04 Thread Mat
Hi Green Leaf,

according to your example above, you should not pass the list
"list_of_keywords_counted" but the stringified "list_of_keywords" to the
.format() method:

report_query = ("SELECT KeywordTextMatchingQuery, Clicks FROM
SEARCH_QUERY_PERFORMANCE_REPORT WHERE KeywordTextMatchingQuery IN [{}]".
format(list_of_keywords))

I've tested it and it works fine - as long as the keywords don't contains
special characters like "+".

Therfore, I'd suggest to stringify the list instead this way:

list_of_keywords_counted = ['keyword 1', 'keyword 2', '+keyword 3']
*list_of_keywords* = str(list_of_keywords_counted)[1:-1]
#this will result in a string, where the keywords are enclosed in single
quotes:
#'keyword 1', 'keyword 2', '+keyword 3'

report_query = ("SELECT KeywordTextMatchingQuery, Clicks FROM
SEARCH_QUERY_PERFORMANCE_REPORT WHERE KeywordTextMatchingQuery IN [{}]".
format(*list_of_keywords*))

Mat

Having problem about sharing audience with accounts.

2020-09-04 Thread 리유나

Hello
We are truggling with some problems about sharing audience between customer
account and manager account.

Using API token from customer account, we made audience which belongs to
MCC. We can check the audience from 'Audience manager' page with MCC.
However, we can't check it from same page of customer account.

We selected option A, which share all lists of MCC with all other customer
accounts automaticly. (from
https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6123188?hl=en) Also, we made
setting that can access lists of remarketing from customer accounts.

(https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6123188?hl=en) According to
this page, remarketing lists which is owned or shared by MCC is shared or
accessed by all customer accounts which is setted 'manage account' by the
same 'remarketing account'.

To sum up, we want to know that sharing audience from manage account to
sub-accounts is available automatically. If so, we want to know some
constraints to use audiences from manager account to all sub-accounts.
e.g.)minimum/maximum size of audience, taking some times, etc.

Thanks.

Re: Do upcoming changes to Search Term UI report impact the API report

2020-09-04 Thread jessic...@supermetrics.com
Hi Xiaoming,

Thank you for the response!

Just to double-check the question was clear, as the whole marketing-sphere
on the internet is talking about this and how it impacts them:
https://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/google-ads-removes-search-terms-for-28-percent-of-paid-search-budgets/
https://searchengineland.com/google-ads-to-limit-search-terms-reporting-citing-privacy-340137
The changes to the search terms report to remove values only impacts what
data is shown in the Google Ads UI/reporting. It does not change the values
returned by the API for the same data? [This seems odd which is why I want
to recheck, I would expect the API to provide the same modified results]

Thank you!
Jessica

KeywordPlanIdeaService response "text" does not match the give keyword

2020-09-04 Thread masa hassy
Hi.
Give keyword with KeywordPlanIdeaService to get searchvolume and
competition.
There is a case where response "text" does not match the give
keyword.(Giving a one word is divided into multiple words.)
Why not match?

ex.
Give keyword:スポーツクラブ(Sportsclub)
Response text:スポーツ クラブ(Sports club)

Thank you.
