I would like to clarify first that it is not possible to create graph using API 
as highlighted in your post.

Moving forward, could you confirm if you want to generate report using Google 
Ads API or AdWords API?

If you will use AdWords API, then you can create a report using Account 
Performance Report as the metrics that have shown in the screenshot can be 
retrieve by the said report.

If Google Ads API will be used to create report, then you can use the customer 
report and you may refer to this document to read more details on how to 
generate report on Google Ads API.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Can't able to view my Request Response using Log4j

Hi,

I'm trying to see set Log4j logging to track all my request response which 
I sent and received with Google Ads API but I'm unable to do so. I tried 
setting up loggers at almost all levels but still failed to set logs. 

I have set

log4j.rootLogger=INFO, file, stdout, SOAP_LOG, REQUEST_LOG, REPORT_LOG, 
BATCH_JOB_LOG

but still can't see the Google Ads API request and response.
Please help me in this.

Re: moving from Google Adwords to Google Ads

With Google Ads API, Google will is applying different Terms & Conditions 
therefore you will have to sign a different T&C.
You won't find this in Google Console but in the Google Ads API - just 
follow the link in the error message.

If you have multiple accounts: make sure you log in to the MCC containing 
the developer token. And log in with an account that has administrative 
permissions.

Pro tip: you may want to take a copy of those T&C, after agreeing you can 
no longer access it! At least it's gone in the MCC where I agreed...

The reason you are seeing empty results is because the account 275-363-3549 is 
a manager account. You will need to make the API call from the client account 
where the ad group is located.

Offline Conversions with Custom User IDs

I have a number of offline conversion events that happen at various times 
after an ad click (simple things, from records created in other services to 
interactions with the customer). We use a custom User ID to identify 
individuals based on an internal service, and that is available on our site 
at all times, so we send that to our gtag implementation for use in 
remarketing later.

The conversion tracking guide 
 
for offline events mentions that the gclid is needed to attach a conversion 
event to an ads click. I technically have the gclid, but there may be 
multiple clicks in a given time period, and I'm not sure of the future 
attribution needs we may have.

Since we have custom User IDs being synced to the ads account, is there a 
recommended/available path to tracking offline conversions with a User ID 
instead of the gclid?

Hi Karl,

Thank you for reaching out. You would be able to query the customer resource in 
the Google Ads API to fetch the metrics. If you segment the dates by placing 
the segments.date field in the SELECT clause you would be able to fetch data 
for different dates and then visualize the data with your own logic.

Google Ads API - Dart Libraries/SDK

Any news when this may be released, or if it's on the horizon?
Google is pushing DART as it's own internal language for projects, many of 
the other APIs are also available in Dart, however Google Ads API is 
strangely missing from this.

Even the new Google interface and platform was built in Dart. 

Thoughts or news on this matter?
