Re: Unrecognized fields in ad_group_ad

2020-10-21 Thread Eleni Lianou
Hello, thank you for your reply.
I figured it out. Some ad group ads do not have a policy summary, that's
why it returned the error message. If I query only with
ad_group_ad.policy_summary it works fine.

This one works:
SELECT
ad_group.id
, ad_group.resource_name
, ad_group_ad.policy_summary
FROM ad_group_ad
WHERE ad_group_ad.status != REMOVED

RE: How to retrieve audience (userList) shared by another MCC account

2020-10-21 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Lauren,

Thanks for posting your concern.

To answer the 3 questions, generally, userlist information can only be
retrieved at the client account level using the UserListService and the reports
such as the user_list, ad group audience view, and campaign audience view
reports. Retrieving shared audiences from a MCC perspective is currently not
possible.

With this, let me raise a feature request for retrieving shared audiences from
a MCC. Also, please note that the feature request that I will raise is subject
for review. For the meantime, you can follow our blog to receive updates and
new releases.

Let me know if you have further questions.

In the document, it says the time span to retrieve search volumes is only

Re: how can i upload crm base user list

2020-10-21 Thread 임수민

Hi  Xiaoming,

I've read your message and i tried to execute that code example

,
```
# Wait until the operation has finished.
print("Request to execute the added operations started.")
print("Waiting until operation completes...")
*operation_response.result()*
print(
"Offline user data job with resource name "
f"'{offline_user_data_job_resource_name}' has finished."
)
```

operation response take so long, and loggers say

[2020-10-21 18:27:42 - INFO] Request made: ClientCustomerId: None, Host:
googleads.googleapis.com:443, Method:
/google.longrunning.Operations/GetOperation, RequestId:

like that.

is this alright ? especially " *ClientCustomerId : None". *I have no idea
why that logger says there is no clientCustomerId in offlineUserDatajob

Hi Ernie,

Thanks for quick answer. So you mean now we can only retrieve userList at
account-level, regardless the userList is generated directly at account or
shared by other account ?

API vs Dashboard data mismatch

2020-10-21 Thread Joshua Sircus
Hello,

I am seeing a data mismatch in a few areas between the dashboard and what
was retrieved from the Adwords API.

I'd like to focus on one data mismatch to start.

For the month of August 2020, email revenue lines up perfectly each day
with the exception of one day where it is significantly off. The day in
question is August 13, 2020.

Thank you for your help in advance,
Josh

Hi Jack,

Assuming you are referring to the document in this geotargeting page, it is
possible that an ID may not be present. In this case, you can use
LocationCriterionService as mentioned in this documentation. Please see this

Re: How can I remove user list with Googe Ads API?

2020-10-21 Thread Stevan Milic
Hello,

I'm having the same problem when trying to remove a user list, I'm using
the same code as described, but I'm getting an error:
USER_LIST_MUTATE_NOT_SUPPORTED, with message: "Creating user list without
setting type in oneof user_list field, or creating/updating read-only user
list types is not allowed.".

Is it even possible to remove crm based user lists? Because I'm not seeing
the list is read-only.

Thanks,

Re: Display Keyword Performance Report does not include full data

2020-10-21 Thread don....@gmail.com
Hello Matt, thank you for the reply

I'm confused as in previous reply in this thread your colleague Peter said:

>Moving forward, we do not recommend comparing reports aggregated at
different entities since performance tracking for each entity is calculated
differently. In addition, the Ad Performance Report

is a single >attribution

report and the Display Keyword Performance Report

on the other hand is a multiple attribution

type of report.

What you suggest is exactly what we do but we are getting mismatch between
data gathered from display keyword performance report

and what client sees in UI and what matches data from Ad Performance Report

Please see API calls example provided by me in this thread.

Is it possible to get UserList size_for_search over time? Segmented by date, or week?

We're using the Google Ads API. And the docs make me believe that it is not
possible to segment size_for_search over time, but I need to make sure.

Thank you,

How can I fetch Budget status "Limited by budget"

2020-10-21 Thread Emma Karlsson
Hi,

Looking for a way to get a trigger if any of my budgets get limited. In the
documentation I can see Budget status, but not the option "Limited by
budget" anywhere.
(SearchBudgetLostImpressionShare can't be used due to the data delay)

Anyone knows what this attribute is called and/or if it even exists?

Cheers!

Re: How to properly count symbols with different bytes weight for chars limitations in ads

2020-10-21 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Nadezhda,

The help center thread is pretty much to the point, except that it doesn't give
you something to work on.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halfwidth_and_fullwidth_forms has the background
on double byte system (i.e. it takes twice the width to render on a monospace
console -- so you can render only 40 of these chars on a 80 column console.
Historically, these characters were represented in the display buffer using two
bytes, hence the name "double byte character system -- (DBCS)", not to be
confused with unicode, which is also a double-byte character system, but has an
entirely different meaning.)

I don't know all the specific char code ranges, but I think that they are
referring to the unicode pages. E.g. Indic block would be from \u0900 to
\u0d7f. Thai would be from \u0e00 to \u0e7f and so on. You could ask the thread
to share the exact unicode pages if you want to get more details.

My suggestion would be not to focus on the exact char set, because that would
mean that you have to stay in sync with whatever rules might change in the
future, and the exact charsets aren't widely documented as far as I know.
Instead, you could specify validateOnly=true when creating a
MutateAdGroupAdsRequest and let the API do the length validation for you.

Hope this helps? Let me know if you have more questions.

Cheers
Anash

I have a question about SelectiveOptimization.
I coded as below and communicated with API, but there was an error.

$campaignService = $adWordsServices->get($session, CampaignService:::class);
$operations = [];
$campaign = new Campaign();
$campaign->setId ($campaignId);

for($i=0;$iselectiveOptimizationCheck);$i++){
 $selectiveOptimizationCheck[$i] =
$rows->selectiveOptimizationCheck[$i];
}
$selectiveOptimization = new SelectiveOptimization();
$selectiveOptimization->setConversionTypeIds ($selectiveOptimizationCheck);
$selectiveOptimization->setConversionTypeIdsOps(null);
$campaign->setSelectiveOptimization ($selectiveOptimization);

$operation = new CampaignOperation();
$operation->setOperand ($campaign);
$operator->setOperator;
$operations[] = $operation;
$result = $campaignService->mute ($operations);

I want you to tell me how to solve it.

Unable to create Google Test Manager Account

2020-10-21 Thread Test Google Ads

up with regular production account.

I am using the link provided here:

The link here points to creation of the regular acccount. What am I
missing. Could some one or Google team show with screenshots?

Thanks.

RE: Traffic Estimator results (AdWords API Vs Google Ads UI)

2020-10-21 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hello Rushikesh,

The AdWords API Keyword Planning matches the legacy AdWords UI that did sunset
some time ago. The new Google Ads API Keyword Planning
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/keyword-planning/overview)
matches the new Google Ads UI more closely. Many of the features you see in the
UI today for keyword planning are not available in AdWords API. That's why the
results are different. However, you can upgrade to the Google Ads API that is
now in GA, and you'll be able to use many of the features you see in the Google
Ads UI with the data matching more closely.

Thanks for raising your concern.

I am afraid that there is currently no dimension or report type in AdWords API

For the meantime, you can follow our blog to receive updates and new releases.

Re: How to create a ad group with the type is shopping - showcase?

2020-10-21 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi,

Could you confirm what is the type of ad that you want to create? I can see
that you created standard shopping campaign and ad group but you also created
expanded text ad. Please note that expanded text ads can only be created for
Search and Display campaigns, not for standard shopping campaign.

With this, since you've created a standard shopping campaign and ad group, then
the ad type that you can create, which is also compatible with the said type of
campaign, is shopping product ad and you may refer to this document on how to
do so.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Re: RE: How to retrieve audience (userList) shared by another MCC account

2020-10-21 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Lauren,

Thank you for your follow up. I work with Ernie and allow me to assist you for
now.

The UserListService and the user list report should return the audiences that
have been created specifically within the client account.

On the other hand, the campaign audience view and the ad group audience view
reports should return the audiences that have been targeted at the campaign or
ad group level, respectively. If the shared audiences were used and targeted at
either level, then the statistics they generated should reflect in the said
reports, however, they would be represented as either a campaign or ad group
user list criterion.

That said, there is currently no way via the APIs to directly retrieve shared
audiences. For updates regarding this feature, you may keep an eye on our blog.

Hi,

I work with Matt and Peter and let me provide support to your concern.

Apologies for the confusion. What our colleague Matt suggested is that, for
tracking Display keywords performance, you may instead focus on the Display

The Ad Performance Report, being a single attribution report, would contain
statistics generated from other criteria as well. Breaking down display keyword

Google Ads API to get account hierarchy

I use customer_client.hidden property to filter hidden accounts.
But I found that the customer_client.hidden property of the sub-manager

What should I do to filter hidden accounts correctly and find out the
complete account hierarchy?

This is the sql query:

$query = 'SELECT customer_client.level,customer_client.hidden,'
. ' customer_client.manager,customer_client.descriptive_name,'
. ' customer_client.id FROM customer_client WHERE customer_client.level <=
1 AND customer_client.hidden=true';

Re: Display Keyword Performance Report does not include full data

2020-10-21 Thread don....@gmail.com

specific campaign and keywordid = 3000*
match data *for the same day and campaign* from the Display Keywords
Performance report ?
