How to break the rule 1developer token = 1 manager account = 1 google project

2021-05-14 Thread Hasmer Salubre
Hi Guys,

So we have read this rule found on this page
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/first-call/dev-token

1developer token = 1 manager account = 1 google project

and the only solution is to create a new project, generate new credentials
and generate refresh tokens from there.

Our problem is that maybe our devtoken is not aligned to our manager
account or google project. There is no way to find it currently. we have
this issue

authorization_error: Developer token is not allowed with project XXX

Since we don't want to misalign our devtoken and our current google project
is using the old version google adwords api. One question is does the rule
above apply on google adwords api?

Another one is if we remove the manager account or google project would it
break the linkage? so that we could re-align it to the correct manager
account or google project

Thank you so much.

Best Regards,
Hasmer

RE: Upload customer matchlist issues

2021-05-14 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Ramakumar,

Thank you for bring this question to our attention. Let me start by answering
some of the simpler questions. yes, you can upload using a CSV so long as you
hash it as shown here and here. So you have stated that you are using the
SHA256 which is what we recommend. You also have said that you are using a
plain text, which again you can use if you would like, but would suggest
probably just using one or the other.

Re: Get shared set only for non-manager accounts

Hi Nazar,

Unfortunately, there is no field in the shared_set report that will indicate
whether the shared set came from a manager account.

I've put in a feature request on your behalf, which you can get updates on by
following our blog.

Upload customer matchlist issues

2021-05-14 Thread Ramakumar Adavakkad

Hi

I didn't get an answer for this query ,

is the direct upload from csv not possible? do I need to read and add one
record at a time?

If that is the case I do have more questions

While uploading we do have an option to add Multiple Email ,Phone and Zip

the example doesn't show multiple Email , Phone etc added to the same person

suppose I have a csv file in the following format , How will I upload all
from csv?

sample csv with multiple Email and Phone

[

Email,First Name,Last Name,Country,Zip,Email,Email,Zip,Phone,Phone

the example I am referring is below

   {

// Creates a first user data based on an email address.

UserData userDataWithEmailAddress = new UserData()

{

UserIdentifiers = {

new UserIdentifier()

{

// Hash normalized email addresses based on SHA-256
hashing algorithm.

HashedEmail = NormalizeAndHash(??)

}

}

};

// Creates a second user data based on a physical address.

UserData userDataWithPhysicalAddress = new UserData()

{

UserIdentifiers =

{

new UserIdentifier()

{

AddressInfo = new OfflineUserAddressInfo()

{

// First and last name must be normalized and
hashed.

HashedFirstName = NormalizeAndHash("John"),

HashedLastName = NormalizeAndHash("Doe"),

// Country code and zip code are sent in plain text.

CountryCode = "US",

PostalCode = "10011"

}

}

}

};

Thanks

Ramakumar

Hi

to add customer match list I am trying to upload a csv file using API . I
can not find a property to specify the path and file name on the library

I can find the properties for Name , Description , MembershipLifespan,
UploadKeyType etc

but cannot find a property to use for the full file name path to upload

we are trying to automate this to upload multiple files of customer list
per client

upload type is CustomerMatchUploadKeyType.ContactInfo ( assume this holds
email, phone , first name etc..)

how can i set this file path property? Add customer Match list example not
mentioning anything about it

Please point me to the right direction here

Thanks

Ramakumar

Re: Get shared set only for non-manager accounts

2021-05-14 Thread 'Nazar Pryymak' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

Hi,

I was expecting that customer_id in resource_name will be different ,
unfortunately they have same value. For example, account 7573888413 have 36
shared sets and in *all* 36 shared sets *customer_id* is 2215674733 .
Could you look to it ?

Thanks

Nazar
