RE: Get the cost of advertising per day

2021-06-25 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. You could query the metrics.cost_micros from the
ad_group_ad resource and segment the dates using segments.date. If you are
using cURL, you could refer to this example on how to implement it.

Thanks and regards,

Download video content in Google ads API

Hi,

Currently I am using Ad words API and I can download the video associated

I don't see any corresponding to download the video using the Google ad

Thanks

RE: How to link Ads with Asset and MediaFile

Hi TUNG,

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately the only resource available for
mapping the asset to ad is the ad_group_ad_asset_view and currently it only
supports the AppAds. For other granularities, you could try the ad_group_asset,
campaign_asset and customer_asset resources.

Thank you for reaching out. My guess is that you created the OAuth2 credential

You could either set the login_customer_id as 2934192297 or create the OAuth2

Local Campaigns and "Account-Level" Spend

2021-06-25 Thread Daniel Alvarado
Hi All,

We currently have an app that retrieves an ACCOUNT_PERFORMANCE_REPORT for
all of our clients so we can bill them based on their spend.

As of recent, we have been advised that there are cases in which the spend
reported in our system doesn't match Google's. It appears that the
difference comes from Local Campaigns.

I understand that the current Adwords API won't support Local Campaigns,
but I'd figure that at least from a top-level standpoint, the total amount
of cost at the account level should include the cost accrued by them, or am
I mistaken?

Thanks,

In addition, what is the best method to get the spent/remaining budget of a

Re: Google Ads API - Reports Metrics variation for past days on subsequent Report Runs

2021-06-25 Thread Andrea Lari
Hi Peter.

Thanks you for you answer.

I would like to reiterate that our problem is not that we view different
values in the API's Reports and the UI.
Our issue is that during the morning (so 10 hours after the midnight of the
Account's Timezone and therefore well after the time mentioned in the
article you sent me), we can run the API's Report every couple of minutes,
and we get consistently increasing values for Impressions (and sometimes
Clicks / Costs).

We store the result of the API's reports in BigQuery, and we always relied
on the assumption that those values should be stable for the day before.
It is clear that they are not.
Right now to avoid issues, we query for the day before and the day before
yesterday, and we replace the data in BQ, therefore correcting the day
before yesterday's data.

Kind regards,
Andrea

Re: Create Google Ads Test Account related to a Google Ads Manager Test Account

2021-06-25 Thread Vlad G
Hi, I'm still experiencing the exact issue described in this thread. I have
a test manager account but when I try to create a test client account under
it I get the following error: "Billing setups can not be used based on
current status of the customer." You indicated that you have the ability to
unblock this for customers; I would appreciate it if you could unblock it
for me please.

Adwords api rate limit error

2021-06-25 Thread Dorcas Ujiji
Hello,

One of our client's api call to
customerServiceClient.listAccessibleCustomers() fails using java google-ads
sdk. Here's the error we get:

com.google.ads.googleads.v6.errors.GoogleAdsException: errors {
   error_code {
  quota_error: RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED
  }
 message: "Too many requests. Retry in 78432 seconds."
 details {
   quota_error_details {
rate_scope: DEVELOPER
rate_name: "Get requests for standard access"
retry_delay {
   seconds: 78432
 }
 }
}
}

According to this documentation, there's a limit of 1,000
requests/day https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/access-levels.
However we were able to confirm from looking at our apps dashboard that
less than 500 total requests were made to the google ads api in that day.
This has happened multiple times.

I would like more information on what is going on and how to work around or
fix them. Thank you.

This app isn't verified

2021-06-25 Thread Timo Schröttle
Hey all,

we're using AdWords API for custom reporting, when using the OAuth2.0 login
with an account linked to our G-Suite everything works properly but as soon
as somebody, who is not linked to us. is trying to connect his account via
OAuth2.0 he's getting a screen telling him "This app isn't verified".

GCP says that we don't need further verification as long as we do not use
sensitive / restricted scopes. We tried looking up sensitive / restricted
scopes and AdWords API was not listed in there.

Is there anything we're missing, if thats the case what type of
verification do we need?

regards

AMPHTML Ads

2021-06-25 Thread Gaurav Suri
Hello Team,

For AMPHTML Ads created in Google Ads Console,

* The reporting done using Adwords API returns 'Display Ad' as the Ad Type
and the actual name of ad as displayed in the Ads console
* The reporting done using Ads API returns 'UNKNOWN' as the Ad Type and no
ad name is returned.

Any reason for this difference ? How do we get to know that the ad is an
AMPHTML ad and get the actual name of the ad ?

Thank you
