Download Leads - Schdule to SFTP/FTP

Since Google Ads API not available for downloading Leads, is there any
alternative to schedule the download file to *SFTP/FTP location instead of
sharing file to specified email*.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please note that this forum channel can only provide assistance (via email

As for your Google Ads UI concern wherein all the data highlighted is zero but
the summary is not zero, I'm afraid that this is already outside of our team's
expertise. With that, we suggest that you reach out to the Google Ads Product
Team for UI related concerns.

RE: How to get the List of Adgroups connected to a Audience(UserList) in Adwords API?

2021-09-15 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor
Hello Anurag,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The easiest way to get the list of AdGroups that the Audience is connected to
is via Reports and utilize the AUDIENCE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT. From that report,
you can use the Criteria field (which refers to the Audience) and the segment
field (AdGroupId).

As an aside, please note that the AdWords API is deprecated and will be sunset
on April 27, 2022. We strongly recommend that you migrate to the Google Ads API
as soon as possible.

RE: Not able to get campaigns from the test ads account

2021-09-15 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor
Hi Divya,

Thanks for posting your concern to us.

For our team to check better, could you provide us with the complete request
and response logs with the request-id generated when fetching the campaigns?

If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client
libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you
can access from this link.

Alternatively, for REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl
command by using the -i flag. This will cause the tool to include the HTTP
response headers in the output.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author
option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to
our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

Hi Mark,

I am facing the same issue as well.
When I try to get the change_event.change_resource_type.name, it works for

AttributeError: 'int' object has no attribute 'name'

Is there any suggested fix for this issue yet?

RE: Queries related to Adgroup and Campaign & Adgroup and Audience Relationship

2021-09-15 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor
Hello Anurag,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please see our responses to your questions below:

1. Can a AdGroup be associated to multiple Campaigns ? Reverse is true(Campaign
can have multiple AdGroups) -> An AdGroup can only be associated to a single
campaign. Yes, you're right that campaigns can have multiple adGroups.

2. Can a multiple Audience (UserList) be associated to a Adgroup? Reverse is
true(a Audience can be associated to Multiple AdGroups) -> Yes, a Userlist can
be associated to an AdGroup and Audiences can be associated to multiple
AdGroups. If you want to target a Userlist to a certain AdGroup, an AdGroup
criteria will be created referencing that Userlist (as also described here).

You can also check on this guide to know more about the Google Ads' hierarchy
of objects and this guide for the list of criteria that can be targeted in the
Ad group level.

RE: Video Campaign Audiences, Placements, etc. in API

2021-09-15 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor
Hello Meg,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please see our responses to your questions below:

Are there any API endpoints we can use to pull the criterion IDs and system
codes and formats data that are downloadable on this page?
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/data/codes-formats There
seem to be some reports such as
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v8/life_event that might
allow us to get some of these lists? -> Criterion IDs from this guide can be
retrieved depending on what report you're trying to get. For example, you can
get the Age ranges via the campaign_criterion.age_range.type.
When creating a new campaign in the Google Ads UI, there are options that do
not appear to be available via the API. For example, we would like to be able
to use the API to get and set statuses from the list of Parental Statuses under
Campaign/Audiences/Browse/Who they are (Detailed Demographics). We would like
to be able to use the API for all of the options under the Browse tab in
Audiences, as well as the Video Lineups that are shown under the Browse tab in
Campaign/Placements. -> As for this concern related to Detailed Demographics,
I'm afraid that this is still not supported in the API. We have raised a
feature request for this; however, there is no guarantee if this will be
supported in the API soon. Having said that, we suggest that you follow our
blog for updates and new releases.

Could you confirm if my understanding is correct that you want to get the ad
group Ids that are under the specific campaigns? If yes, then it appears that

remove this part "where("AdGroupId").equalTo(654815989)" of the query to return

Re: acceptInvitation() in LinkManagerToClient API not working...

2021-09-15 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor
Hi Amol,

Thank you for providing the requested details privately, our team was able to
receive it.

Upon checking the provided API logs, I can see that the client customer ID
390-714-4090 is the one that was set in the login-customer-id field, not the
manager account 807-384-0941. With this, you need to ensure that the
configuration of the ini file is saved before running the API request again so
it will process the customer ID of the manager account.

If the error persists, could you provide the login user account that you've
used to generate Oauth2 credential and the updated API logs to further
investigate? Please provide it via Reply privately to author option.

Upcoming Extensions Migration Feed-based to Asset-based

This upcoming Extensions Feed-based to Asset-based Migration is related to
Google Ads API, not to Adwords API, correct? I.e. there is no need to
migrate if we're still using Adwords API?

Change Status Service Internal Errors for Certain Date Ranges

2021-09-15 Thread Jonathan Stack
Our account had a large volume of label changes for keywords in the
timespan given. Our change status query

SELECT
change_status.ad_group_criterion,
change_status.ad_group_feed,
change_status.campaign,
change_status.campaign_criterion,
change_status.campaign_feed,
change_status.feed,
change_status.feed_item,
change_status.resource_status,
change_status.resource_type,
change_status.last_change_date_time
FROM

WHERE
change_status.resource_type IN ('AD_GROUP_CRITERION') AND

change_status.last_change_date_time < '2021-09-13 14:32:00.000'
ORDER BY
 change_status.last_change_date_time

returns with internal error consistently. If I change the time ranges, I
can eventually find a range that will succeed.

Example of successful range

google_ads_api adding client accountname to data pulled with

2021-09-15 Thread 'Madeleine ANTHONISEN' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

Hello!

Me and my team are using the get_service method to get an instance of
GoogleAdsService client.

Then we issue a search request using streaming (search_stream method). This
requires an input customer id.

We were wondering if there was a way to get the name of the account
associated with the data and metrics pulled?

Thank you!

Google Ads API - get whole data with final url and tracking parameter

2021-09-15 Thread dominik.r...@gmail.com
Im using final url report and want to read out the whole final url. In my
ad there is a final url,
maybe www.xxx.com

In my campaign i have this tracking-template:
{lpurl}?campaignid={campaignid}&adgroupid={adgroupid}&keyword={keyword}&device={device}&type=whatever

How can i read out this data, so to see the whole url in my report?
Which report i can use, i think with final url it will not work.

I also tried ad performance report and landing page report, but i never get
the data in this format:
www.xxx.com?campaignid=xxx&adgroupid=xxx&keyword=xxx&device=xxx&type=xxx

Download Leads from Campaign using API.

2021-09-15 Thread Prakash Shankar

I have setup Google Ads (AdWords) API using client library (.NET/C#). I can
able to fetch list of Campaign Running under Account but I couldn't find
any documentation to download the leads (either as CSV or List of records)
related to Campaign.

https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/10089020?hl=en

This is purely manual process and we need to automate using API using .NET
program.

Not able to get campaigns from the test ads account

2021-09-15 Thread Divya Nagpal
Hi,

I am using Google Ads API in laravel and able to successfully make a
connection between the client and the app with the Client ID, Secret and
developer token using the API flow.

But when I am using the library for fetching the campaigns it is not giving
any result and not even any error. I am able to fetch the account details
using the library but not the campaign details. Why so?

I have used the library example in Postman just to test my request whether
it is correct or not, then in the response it is giving:
{
"fieldMask": "campaign.id,campaign.name"
}

Please help me to solve out from this issue. Thanks in Advance!

"keyword_plan_service.generate_forecast_metrics" method doesn't return keyword text

Trying to get the forecast of a group of keywords (clicks, impressions,

Then while using
"keyword_plan_ad_group_keyword_service.get_keyword_plan_ad_group_keyword"
method to get the keyword text I overpass the quota (Get Requests, 1,000
requests per day)

Will the response include the "keyword_plan_ad_group_keyword" data in the

Re: PlacesLocationFeedData.BusinessIdentifier

2021-09-15 Thread FW API
Hello.

I tried that and it worked. But it blew the 1000 Get / day limit. We have
2052 accounts with my business data in actual use. Even if we only refresh
those once per day that approach is not feasible. I'm a bit beyond concern
now, as we believed in the announcement that the new api would be feature
complete compared to the old and belived that we could refactor our code
piece by piece without changes for our customers.

What can we do?

Queries related to Adgroup and Campaign & Adgroup and Audience Relationship

Hi Team,
Wanted some clarity on understanding the relationship between Campaign ,
AdGroup and Audience.
1. Can a AdGroup be associated to multiple Campaigns ? Reverse is

2. Can a multiple Audience (UserList) be associated to a Adgroup? Reverse
is true(a Audience can be associated to Multiple AdGroups)

GAQL on campaign with labels and cost doesn't work

2021-09-15 Thread Ales Sturala
Hello,

I noticed after migrating from v6 to v8 that we cannot run a simple GAQL
query where we ask *campaign *for *Cost *and filter on *labels*.

This query used to work before migrating to *v8*:

SELECT campaign.resource_name, *metrics.cost_micros *FROM campaign WHERE
*campaign.labels
CONTAINS ALL ('customers/5238202189/labels/21157228181')*

After the migration it fails with this error:

{ "errorCode": { "requestError": "UNKNOWN" }, "message": "The error code is
not in this version.", "trigger": { "stringValue":
"A_campaign__CampaignAssociation.entity_id" } }

   - Interesting is that it says that the error code is not in this version
but it runs on v8 and latest .NET lib.

If I remove *metrics.cost_micros* *OR* the where predicate for labels, then
the query works. But it doesn't work with both:

No *metrics.cost_micros* - *works*

SELECT campaign.resource_name FROM campaign WHERE *campaign.labels CONTAINS
ALL ('customers/5238202189/labels/21157228181')*

No labels predicate - *works*

SELECT campaign.resource_name, *metrics.cost_micros *FROM campaign

We use the C# library for Google Ads API.

Any idea what the issue is? Thank you in advance.

Re: Difference between UI reports and reporting API results

2021-09-15 Thread Ilya Bolshakov
Hi Aryeh,

I understand all about 'or', thx

Could you please tell me more about these criteria ids

You say 300 must match display_keyword_view but I see it doesn't. In my
case I have an ad group with only display keywords as targeting and AdWords
API returns to me metrics for 300 id that is less and not equal neither
display_keyword_view nor Google Ads UI.

What does it mean that 304 was used for a feature that has since been
removed from Google Ads? I see statistics for this criteria today for live
campaigns both from the AdWords API and in the Google Analytics reports.

Regarding 306, I see that I can't fetch out it from Google Ads API but
the problem is that with auto-tagging exactly this id is in "Google Ads
Criteria ID" in Google Analytics reports. As the result, I have a google
analytics data with this id only and I can't find same data for matching
from Google Ads, neither from API nor UI. Is there other way to match
google analytics and google ads date is this case?

How to get the List of AdGroupIds connected to a CampaignId in Adwords API?

2021-09-15 Thread Anurag Sinha
Hi Team,
Can you please let us know how to get the list of AdGroupIds connected to a
CampaignId in Adwords API?
As we can get the list of CampaignIds from AdGroupId level to which it is
associated. Using the below Adwords API call .
ReportQuery query =
new ReportQuery.Builder()
.fields(
"AdGroupId",
"CampaignId")
.from(ReportDefinitionReportType.ADGROUP_PERFORMANCE_REPORT)
   .where("Status").in("ENABLED", "PAUSED")
   .during(ReportDefinitionDateRangeType.LAST_7_DAYS)
   .where("AdGroupId").equalTo(654815989)
.build();

Access for the API before i put the App to production? For my purpose the Test
account is suitable.

Basic access would be required in order to make API calls using Production
accounts and access information in the Production environment. That said, if
you are currently not needing to make API calls to production accounts, the
test account access level of your developer token should be enough.

2 - Since the scope of the Google Ads API is sensitive, i will have to submit
my app for verification. I've read the docs for verification and i have notice
that the main concern is that i will make clear for the user how the app will
handle their data. Assuming that i will use only use my own Google Ads account,
there will be no access to external user data. There is another scope that i
can use that can permit publishing the App without verification?

For app verification concerns, I would recommend that you reach out instead to
the Google API Console support team, as this is more related to their
expertise. You may then reach their support team via this link.

I hope this helps.
