RE: Shopping Performance view issue

2022-03-29 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Anzor,

Thank you for raising your concern.

In order for me to check if the details of the item / product that you've
mentioned can be retrieved using Google Ads API, would you be able to provide
the screenshot of the whole Google Ads UI where we can see it?

You can provide it via Reply privately to author option. If this option is not
available, then send it instead on this email address
googleadsapi-supp...@google.com.

RE: Google Recommendation Script Apply / Dismiss recommendation

2022-03-29 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please note that this direct support can only provide assistance to
issues/concerns related to the AdWords API / Google Ads API . For concerns
outside the said APIs' services and features, then unfortunately our team would
not be able to assist you further.

If you need any assistance regarding the above mentioned APIs, you may provide
us with the complete details and API logs(request and response with request-id
) so that we can assist you better. If you are referring to recommendations
feature of the API, you may refer to this guide .

Since you also mentioned Scripts and if you are indeed referring to the Google
Ads Scripts, then you may reach out to their team via this link , as they
should be more equipped to provide guidance on this matter.

RE: AdgroupCriterion Status Issue-Ads API

2022-03-29 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Saurabh,

Thank you for reaching out.

To have a better picture of what you are encountering, could you provide our
team with the complete request and response logs, with the request-id? If you
haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries >
Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author
option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to
our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

Also, using the ad_group_criterion report, you should be able to extract the
below values using the ad_group_criterion.approval_status :

RE: Lag in Google Ads API Rename Account Name

2022-03-29 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Vijay,

Could you confirm if the lag in the update is observed through the Google Ads
UI or the Google Ads API?

I asked because through a separate Google Ads API request, you should be able
to perform a succeeding customer report request to check whether the updates to
the said customer have already reflected.

For lags observed in the Google Ads UI, you may clarify this with the Google
Ads Product support team, via this link.

Thank you for posting your concern.

Could you confirm if you already tried following this guide for uploading
enhanced conversions for leads? Please also try upgrading to the latest API

RDA Limits per Ad Group

2022-03-29 Thread JCAS
Hi everyone,

We're trying to push some new Responsive Display Ads using the API but
we're seeing the following error:

Error found:
"errorCode":
"resourceCountLimitExceededError": "RESOURCE_LIMIT" "message":
"This request would exceed a limit on the number of allowed resources.
"trigger": "stringValue": "ENABLED_TEXT_CREATIVES_PER_AD_GROUP"

According to the documentation, the following limits are established:

   - 300 image or gallery ads per ad group
   - 50 active text and non-image/gallery ads per ad group

Can you help me clarify what this means for RDAs? They're a combination of
image ads + responsive text ads, so I'm assuming I'm only allowed to create
50 RDAs per ad group. Would you say that's correct?

Add Multiple Requests to the Same Job Facing CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION error.

2022-03-29 Thread Online Engineering

Hi,

We are trying to upload pii data to create the user lists in Google Ads
manager and face the CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION error.

When we read the following paragraph from the doc, our understanding is
that as long as we run one job, we should not run into the
CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION issue. So we added the requests concurrently to the
same job, and submitted the job for only once. However, we still saw this
error.

   - Avoid simultaneously running multiple OfflineUserDataJob

 processes
that modify the same user list (that is, multiple jobs whose
   CustomerMatchUserListMetadata.user_list

 point
to the same resource name). Doing so can result in a
   CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION

 error
since multiple jobs are not permitted to operate on the same list at the
same time. This error can also occur if attempting to simultaneously modify
a list through the Google Ads UI and the Google Ads API. Note that this
does not apply to adding operations

 to
an existing job, which can be done at any time before the job is started.

Could you help us address following concerns?

   1. Is adding requests to the same job concurrently supported without
   throwing out the CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION error?
   2. If number 1 is supported, then is it a bug development team needs to
   trouble shoot?
   3. If number 1 is not supported, could you suggest if there is any other
way to upload the data asynchronously so that we can upload the data faster
   than the synchronous way?

Here I’m pasting how we tested the API again.

Following work flow is implemented to upload data to Google in parallel.

1. Created 'google_client' using access tokens

2. Created 'user_list' (we at Epsilon refer it as audience)

3. Created 'offline_user_data_job' using 'OfflineUserDataJobService' service

4. Create a function which takes the 'google_client', 'user_list',
'offline_user_data_job' and small portion of dataframe to be uploaded. This
function is called in parallel by spark.

5. Within this function,

   5.1 Create request for 'AddOfflineUserDataJobOperations'

   5.2 Initialize the request with 'offline_user_data_job' (
This will tag a request to job.

5.3 Create operations using the input data. and assign to
request.operations

   5.4 submit the 'AddOfflineUserDataJobOperations' request

5.5 Repeat step 5.1 to 5.4 till all data is submitted to
Google.

6. On submitting all the 'AddOfflineUserDataJobOperations' request, finally
call 'run_offline_user_data_job' which triggers the upload.

*Issue details:*

We are facing 'database_error: CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION' error when we are
submitting "'AddOfflineUserDataJobOperations' request" in parallel. ( Step
5.4)

Google Recommendation Script Apply / Dismiss recommendation

2022-03-29 Thread Pierre-Emmanuel Sirjacq
Dear Google community,

I have to manage several campaigns and i would like to implement a script
to apply (or dismiss) some of Google recommendation.

For example, we would like to apply recommendation for non relevant keyword
we implemented, or image extension. On the other side, the increase budget
recommendation is not viable on our side as we had some strict budget
constrain (and i would like to dismiss it for all).

I'm a beginner of the script writing so any help is more than welcome :)

Thanks

ad_group_ad.ad.image_ad.image_url,
ad_group_ad.ad.image_ad.name
FROM ad_group_ad
WHERE
   ad_group.id IN ({0}) AND ad_group_ad.ad.id IN ({1})
ORDER BY
ad_group.id ASC,
ad_group_ad.ad.id ASC";

I have noticed that days ago, I obtained information for
ad_group_ad.ad.image_ad.name. However, today I have run the query again and
that field is empty. Is it possible that there is some bug in the API or do
I have to rewrite the query in another way?

Thank you very much for the help.
All the best

Re: Differences in getAccountChanges between AdWords API and Google Ads API

2022-03-29 Thread Estanislao Ledesma
Hi Jinky,
Yes I already understood that. What I'm asking is why I'm getting a change
with the AdWords API and not with the Google Ads API using the same date
lapse. Has the API changed its behaviour? Are changes delayed in the new
API?
Thanks again.

Performance Max Migration

2022-03-29 Thread Ames Shatzer
Hi All,

I'm looking for more information around the Pmax migration. I don't want to
transition many of my accounts given their positive performance on multiple
channels and was wondering if in July this was optional? If its not, what
does the time frame look like for migration and what will google do with
the lack of assets? Lastly, will manual shopping campaigns still work or
will Pmax target those conversions?

Best regards,
Ames

Re: Batch Job Result detailed information

2022-03-29 Thread Julian Canada
I guess that what you were looking for was to set the
ResponseContentType(MUTABLE_RESOURCE) in the ListBatchJobResultsRequest.
It took me a while to get to that setting because it was not in the
MutateOperation but in the List Request .

Hope this helps !

Re: Regarding Client Hierarchy in the Ads API

2022-03-29 Thread Dorian Kind
Hi Ernie,

Thanks for your response. I have seen the example code that you linked to
and it still doesn't seem very efficient. It will perform 1+N calls to the
Ads API, where N is the number of accessible manager accounts for the
authenticated user. In larger account hierarchies—which are not uncommon
for an agency—this can mean one has to do a couple hundred calls just to
get the account structure. In my eyes this is a step back compared to the
Adwords API, where the same information could be gathered with a single
call (or a small number of calls, if paging is required) to
the ManagedCustomerService.

Best,
Dorian

AdgroupCriterion Status Issue-Ads API

2022-03-29 Thread Saurabh Suman
Hi Team,
In new Ads API , For few AdgroupCriterion as below we are getting the
AdGroupCriterionStatus as 2 i.e. ENABLED. But getting APPROVAL STATUS as
UNSPECIFIED(0). Do we have to map them with ACTIVE STATUS .

Adgroup-103297496321
AdgroupCriterionId- 37356471

In earlier Adwords API we did not have approval status UNSPECIFIED(0).Only
below approval status were there earlier.

APPROVED
PENDING_REVIEW
UNDER_REVIEW
DISAPPROVED

Thanks,

Error not referenced

2022-03-29 Thread Virgile Aimé
Hi,

I'm getting the following error when uploading Lead conversions using user
identifiers:

`No click was found for the given user identifiers that could be applied to
the specified conversion action.`

I am passing an email and a phone number (both hashed correctly).
I also have Gclid for those conversions, which seems to work fine when
using the Click conversion API.

Can you provide more information on the error and how to resolve it ?

Thanks

Hi Arsh,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API team.

To investigate the issue, could you provide the complete request and response

You can provide it via Reply privately to author option. If this option is not
available, then send it instead on this email address

Kind regards.

RE: How to update MembershipLifeSpan of already created UserList

2022-03-29 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can use the UserListService's mutate method to pass an UPDATE operation,
containing the updated details of your userlist . Let me know if this helps.

+1 on this,

@Google
Is there any document mentioning the
OPERATIONS_FOR_TOO_MANY_SHOPPING_ADGROUPS ?
Applying mere *>2* ad groups is triggering this error in a
*Batch Job.*If there is a documentation mentioning same, kindly point us to
that.. or at lease acknowledge the issue in your API.

Thanks & Regards,

RE: Zero cost omitted from results

2022-03-29 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Oliver,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please note that it is currently not possible to force return a row if all
selected metrics fields are zero. However, if there's one or more selected
metrics fields having a value that is not zero, the row should be returned. You
can refer to this documentation for more details.
