Re: How to add the short headline, long headline, Image, Description to smart shopping ad in Smart Shoppping Campaign

2022-07-25 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Martin,

Thank you for providing more details to your concern.

Upon further checking on my end, the information of headlines and descriptions
of the smart shopping ads can be retrieved using the
ad_group_ad.ad.shopping_smart_ad. However, since you mentioned that this
information is not retrieved in the report, then I tried impersonating it on my
end. I wasn't able to get this information as well on my end. With this, allow
me to raise the issue to my team to investigate it. Rest assured that we will
provide updates when it becomes available.

For image and video ads information, you can include the fields that start with
ad.image_ad.* and ad.video_ad.* from the ad_group_ad report.

Hi Miguel,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API team.

Moving forward, I am afraid that Automated Rules is not yet supported in the
Google Ads API. However, our team already raised a feature request for this.
For now, please keep an eye to our blog as we post updates there.

You might have to create a new thread in order to get a reply from the

Re: Update MaxCPC Problem

2022-07-25 Thread Werner Reyneke
Good day

Thanks for your reply.

Ok, so basically we have a list of keywords IDs
(AdGroupCriterion.CriterionId) for which we need to update the CpcBidMicros
values.
The problem is that when I use the GAQL query below, which in theory is
supposed to return a bunch of criterion id's that would match at least some
of the criterion id's in our list, there are no matching ones returned,
which is impossible.

 I am using this GAQL query below:

select segments.date, ad_group.id,ad_group.status,ad_group_criterion.status,
campaign.id, ad_group_criterion.criterion_id,
ad_group_criterion.keyword.text from keyword_view where segments.date
between '2021-06-15' and '2022-07-15'

I hope the explanation is now more clear?

Kind regards,
Werner

Status of assets in a newly created performance max campaign is still being under review

2022-07-25 Thread 'Simon' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,

i've created performance max campaign by google ads api, but the campaign
assets are still under review. I know it can take some time to review
assets but this is taking far to long.
Some of my campaigns were set up over a week ago and their assets are still
under review.
I've also notice that after duplicating a campaign, assets change status
from "under review" to "approved" much more quickly.

I would also like to add that the campaigns are generated without any
errors.

Do you know why the assets in a campaign created by the google ads api are
not approved, while they are approved in a duplicate campaign?

Thank you for help.
Szymon

Re: Update MaxCPC Problem

2022-07-25 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Werner,

I’ve tried to use your GAQL and it seems it’s returning correct data. With
regards to your statement “There are matches on the add campaign platform and
it's a live campaign, but the Google Ads API doesn't return Criterion IDs even
with that wide date range.”, could you help us to understand if said platform
is different from Google Ads UI? Could you provide more context here how you
were able to list the keywords IDs (AdGroupCriterion.CriterionId) that you are
looking to update the CpcBidMicros values?

Google Ads - Limit of 20 Accounts under any one email

2022-07-25 Thread Tom
We noticed that the new Google Ads API requires "User" access, not just
"Manager" access. Is this correct firstly? It presents a problem in that an
email, like mine above, can only have 20 accounts tied to the email. What
is the solution to this problem as we have more than 20 accounts we need
API access to? Do we need to do it under a different email?

Hi Cantare,

Thank you for the reply.

Upon checking, it seems that you are modifying a video entity related ad group,
but as per this guide says, Video Campaigns (including other video related
entities) are not supported in the API.

Please note that we have already created a feature request previously, for
support of management of these entities via the API. For now you can also

RE: I want my users to create their own adds

2022-07-25 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Sharad,

Thank you for reaching out to our API support team.

Each of your customers can use your approved developer token. You may however
need to take note of the limits on developer token and the API's services'
usage. That said, your customers would then need to create their own set of
OAuth2 credentials so that they can use those to authenticate only the accounts
that they need to manage. As for creating their own ads, I would recommend that
you check out our campaign management guide as well as our ad management guide.

As for monetization of these services, this is already outside of our API
team's scope. You may try and reach out to the Google Ads Product Support team
via this link, to discuss Google Ads policies related to monetization.

I hope this helps.

RE: Google Ads - Limit of 20 Accounts under any one email

2022-07-25 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

In Google Ads API perspective, you’ll need only to authenticate API requests
with OAuth2 credentials using the email with the appropriate access to the
accounts (customer_id) you will specify in your requests. Please make sure you
use the correct login-customer-id that you used to generate the OAuth2
credentials, as an OAuth2 access token that grants access to the API.

With regards to sending email invites to 20 accounts, note that the maximum
number of pending invitations is 20. You can see your pending invitations in
your manager account under Settings > Sub-account settings. If your manager
account already has 20 pending invitations, then you cannot invite additional
client accounts.

However, as solution to reduce the number of pending invitations, you can ask
administrative users on the requested accounts to approve the linking invites
or you can revoke the invites if they are no longer needed. Also, you may
consider bringing your manager account under the account limit, you must cancel
some accounts or unlink accounts from your manager account.

RE: ProductCondition Listing Group Filter issues

2022-07-25 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Anatolii,

Thank you for reaching out to our API support team.

Looking at your concern, this appears to be more related to the PHP client
library's handling of the values. Since you mentioned no API errors were
encountered and only an enum error, the client library owners should be able to
provide the appropriate guidance to resolve this issue.

You may reach them instead via this link. I hope this helps.

Hello Xueyao,

Thank you for providing the additional feedback. I made sure my fellow
engineers working on this feature are aware of this. I got an answer back from
our engineering experts in this area.

It appears that it's expected that what you're doing is not allowed. It is
expected that {} would not work outside of ad customizers. If you have any
common use cases, then feel free to provide them, and we can consider it for
any future features of the API.

2022-07-25 Thread 粟野恭平
Hello, I am receiving errors from MutateBatchJob requests.

error message is following:

```
error_code {
  resource_count_limit_exceeded_error: RESOURCE_LIMIT
}
message: "This request would exceed a limit on the number of allowed
resources. The details of which type of limit was exceeded will eventually
be returned in ErrorDetails."
trigger {
  string_value: "MUTATE_JOBS_PER_CUSTOMER"
}
location {
  field_path_elements {
field_name: "operation"
  }
}
details {
  resource_count_details {
enclosing_id: "*"
limit: 100
limit_type: BATCH_JOBS_PER_CUSTOMER
existing_count: 100
enclosing_resource: "customer"
  }
}
```

I think I need to remove BatchJobOperation with BatchJobOperation.remove,
so I am trying to get resource name of BatchJobOperation,
then executed Operations.ListOperations request, but received following
errors.

```
{
  "error": {
"code": 501,
"message": "Operation is not implemented, or supported, or enabled.",
"status": "UNIMPLEMENTED"
  }
}
```

How can I remove BatchJobOperation?
