Which API limits apply to KeywordPlanIdeaService.GenerateKeywordHistoricalMetricsRequest

2023-02-22 Thread Jared Chung
Hi!

I'm hoping to use
KeywordPlanIdeaService.GenerateKeywordHistoricalMetricsRequest to analyze a
large set of keywords. Are the API limits for KeywordPlanIdeaService the
same as the API limits for the KeywordPlanService (here

)?

The limits for KeywordPlanService appear to only say 1 request per second,
but don't specify how many keywords can be included in each request. Are
there limits to how many keywords can be specified in each
GenerateKeywordHistoricalMetricsRequest?

Note: I'm aware of the 64MB gRPC response limit
.

If there is no limit to how many keywords I can specify in each
GenerateKeywordHistoricalMetricsRequest, I would guess that the gRPC
response limit will end up being the true limiting factor.

Thanks!

- JC

`PreviousPeriodTotalCost` not matching `currentPeriodTotalCost` from the previous month in the API

2023-02-22 Thread Matthew Mcguff
Support:

I am having an issue involving the previousPeriodTotalCost not matching
what the currentPeriodTotalCost from the previous month.

I demonstrate and explain this issue in the following video:
loom video of the data issue

When I call the following API call and look for the result for accountId:
'1005896713' get the following when I query the full month of Jan 2023

{
"accountId": "1005896713",
"businessName": "Law Office of Christopher P. Walker, P.C.",
"averageWeeklyBudget": 411,
"averageFiveStarRating": 4.8,
"totalReview": 43,
"phoneLeadResponsiveness": 0.46,
"currentPeriodChargedLeads": "6",
"previousPeriodChargedLeads": "7",
"currentPeriodTotalCost": 981.65,
"previousPeriodTotalCost": 806,
"currencyCode": "USD",
"currentPeriodPhoneCalls": "21",
"previousPeriodPhoneCalls": "23",
"currentPeriodConnectedPhoneCalls": "16",
"previousPeriodConnectedPhoneCalls": "0",
"impressionsLastTwoDays": "0"
}

Note the currentPeriodTotalCost is 981.65. I would expect if I were to
query the month of February that the previousPeriodTotalCost for this
accountId should be 981.65. However I get the following:

{
"accountId": "1005896713",
"businessName": "Law Office of Christopher P. Walker, P.C.",
"averageWeeklyBudget": 411,
"averageFiveStarRating": 4.8,
"totalReview": 43,
"phoneLeadResponsiveness": 0.46,
"currentPeriodChargedLeads": "9",
"previousPeriodChargedLeads": "5",
"currentPeriodTotalCost": 971.23,
"previousPeriodTotalCost": 844.65,
"currencyCode": "USD",
"currentPeriodPhoneCalls": "20",
"previousPeriodPhoneCalls": "17",
"currentPeriodConnectedPhoneCalls": "15",
"previousPeriodConnectedPhoneCalls": "15",
"impressionsLastTwoDays": "0"
}

I'm not sure where 844.65 is coming from. This value isn't showing in MCC
Reports.
[image: mcc-reports-screenshot-0023.png]

Is there something we are doing wrong in how we are calling the API?

Here are the curls we are using from the API calls we are making:

January API call
curl --location
'https://localservices.googleapis.com/v1/accountReports:search?query=manager_customer_id%3A5401188294=1=1=2023=31=1=2023'

\
--header 'Authorization: Bearer

February API Call
curl --location
'https://localservices.googleapis.com/v1/accountReports:search?query=manager_customer_id%3A5401188294=1=2=2023=28=2=2023'

\
--header 'Authorization: Bearer

Please advise what the best course of action to take should be. If this
is working as expected, please advise what I should be doing to the value
int the API to arrive the value in MCC Reports for the previous month. I
suppose I could disregard previous month from the API call and when
populating our database with the data, we could only use current month and
prepopulate the previous month of next row with the current of the previous
but don't like going down the road of only trusting some of the values the
API calls we make Google Ad Words.

Thanks for you all the great work you do in advance.

I have problem with keyword planner API.

RE: Are products without a price on the website/feed removed from pMax campaigns or just hidden?

2023-02-22 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Daniel,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Regarding your concern, can you confirm if you are using the Google Ads API? If
so, in Google Ads API perspective, you may check this Performance Max campaign
guide.

However, if you are not using the Google Ads API, then we recommend reaching
out to the Google Ads Product support team as they are better equipped to
provide guidance to you.

You may also check this About Performance Max campaigns article for more
information.

RE: Access Cancel Accounts

2023-02-22 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Mario,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Could you please confirm if you are trying to retrieve account information of
the cancelled account using Google Ads API? If yes, could you please provide
the complete API logs within the format of (request and response logs with
requestID) generated on your end. If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by
navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging
documentation, which you can access from this link. I ask this so that we can
provide guidance accordingly.

For security purposes, you can provide it via the Reply privately to author
option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email
address googleadsapi-supp...@google.com.

Best regards,

Jinky

Are products without a price on the website/feed removed from pMax campaigns or just hidden?

2023-02-22 Thread Daniel Tamarjan
We have a number of products on our website that can change from having a
price to POA (price on application) on a regular basis. I know that we can
only add products to a pMax campaign if they have a price but what happens
if the product has a price when added to a pMax campaign initially and then
the price on the website changes to POA and then a few weeks later to
having a price again? Is the product automatically removed from the pMax
campaign when it initially changes to POA or just hidden and does it get
readded automatically when it has a poper price again?
