Google Ads API Conversion Event Not AllowListed

2023-03-20 Thread David Levin
Hello,
We are attempting to create Google Ads click conversions to the REST API.
However, I am getting an error that says "Customer is not allowlisted for
accessing this feature., at conversions[0].conversion_environment"

I am logged in as the Manager Account with admin + owner access. Here is
an example request:

https://googleads.googleapis.com/v13/customers/X:uploadClickConversions
```
"conversions": [
{
"gbraid": "",
"wbraid": "",
"externalAttributionData": {},
"customVariables": [],
"cartData": {},
"userIdentifiers": [],
"conversionEnvironment": "WEB",
"conversionAction": "customers/X/conversionActions/1046888366",
"conversionDateTime": "2023-03-19 12:32:45-08:00",
"conversionValue": 100,
"currencyCode": "USD",
"orderId": "1"
}
],
"partialFailure": true,
"validateOnly": true,
"debugEnabled": true
}
```

The exact response I receive is:
```
{
  "partialFailureError": {
"code": 3,
"message": "Customer is not allowlisted for accessing this feature., at
conversions[0].conversion_environment",
"details": [
  {
"@type":
"errors": [
"CUSTOMER_NOT_ALLOWLISTED_FOR_THIS_FEATURE"
},
"message": "Customer is not allowlisted for accessing this
feature.",
"trigger": {
},
"location": {
  "fieldName": "conversions",
  "index": 0
},
{
  "fieldName": "conversion_environment"
}
  ]
}
  }
]
  }
]
  }
}
Can you please assist in resolving the issue?
Re: PermissionDenied, even when setting LoginCustomerId
2023-03-20 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to our team.
Please note that the USER_PERMISSION_DENIED error occurs when the authorized
customer does not have access to the operating customer. You mentioned that you
already tried setting the 'login-customer-id' equal to the manager customer id
but unfortunately, it still throws the said error. It also occurs when the
OAuth2 credentials you are using were generated by a user / email address that
does not have access to the account (customer_id) specified in your request.
You can manage user access by referring to this article.
If the issue persists even after doing the above details, you may send us the
complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated
on your end and the user / email address that you used in your authentication
process for further investigation.
You may then send the requested logs via the Reply privately to author option.
If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our
googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.
Regards,
Google Ads API Team
Re: How to filter on repeated fields in AWQL
2023-03-20 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello Zweitze,
Thank you for returning to our team.
Regarding your question, please note that the reason why we are asking for the
Google Ads UI screenshot is because you mentioned that you want to retrieve all
keywords that have one or more final_urls set. We are asking for the Google Ads
UI screenshot that will show that this functionality is available in the UI
because the Google Ads API mirrors each other. So, if this is available in the
UI and not in the API, then our team should raise a feature request for this.
However, if this is not available/possible in the Google Ads UI, then I am
afraid that this is also not possible in the Google Ads API.
As for "How do I get all search keywords that have one or more final url? Do I
have to set "Show rows" to 500, then click "next" 324 times? I think that's a
waste of bandwidth.", please note that our team supports Google Ads API-related
concerns and technical implementations only. That said, I would recommend
reaching out to the Google Ads Product support team as they are the ones who
provide support to UI-related concerns.
Furthermore, the ad_group_ad.ad.final_urls is a STRING and this is the reason
why when you type NULL, Google Ads Query Builder takes that as a string value.
Google Ads API Team
Private message regarding: Severe performance degradation when listing bidding strategies
2023-03-20 Thread 'Paul' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,
yes, the problem still persists although the latency is now around 8
seconds instead of 35--45 but still drastically slower than it used to be.
Please find attached the full logs, I truncated the response payload a bit
because it is irrelevant.
The latency for this query (returning just 127 rows) used to be well within
seconds. Using the SearchStream method does not significantly change the
timings.
Is this service degradation expected?
Hi Zweitze,
Thank you for coming back to us. I hope you are doing well today.
Moving forward to your concern, upon checking there is a related issue
titled *“**Document that programs may hang after upgrading to 14.0.0+ #488*
*”* created on
github issue (googleads/google-ads-dotnet) which has a latest response.
Could you please try if this will work on your end?
GoogleAdsConfig config = new GoogleAdsConfig();
config.UseGrpcCore = true;
GoogleAdsClient client = new GoogleAdsClient(config);
In addition, please see *Supported Frameworks:*
   - .NET Framework 4.7.2+ (net472)
   - .NET Standard 2.1 (netstandard2.1)
   - .NET 5.0 (net5.0)
   - .NET Core 3.1 (netcoreapp3.1)
The library doesn't have an explicit build target for .NET 6.0 (net6.0)
yet. However, you can use the library with a binary built for .NET 6.0,
since netstandard2.1 is compatible with .NET 6.0.
Have a great day.
Please check that issue that you referenced.
Check who reported that particular issue. Yes, that was me.
And the issue is about documentation. And yes, this breaking change is
still not documented anywhere, except in issues #480
 and #488
It took me four weeks (!) to get the projects in my solution working with
async calls, and I think it should be fair to warn others about this
change. That is the reason I point others to the issues - when I was facing
the problem it took me two days to find the explanation, the then well-
buried issue #480.
So it's working for me - after making everything async, as was suggested in
#480
About the suggestion you make here - I already checked that long ago. When
instantiating GoogleAdsConfig, it's member UseGrpcCore is already set to
true. Setting it to true once more does not help.
About your question on the platform: see the issue I created.
Re: How to filter on repeated fields in AWQL
2023-03-20 Thread Zweitze
Hello,
Do I really have to provide a screenshot of the "Search keywords" UI?
Of course not. Anyway, for example use 371-225-2729 and clear any filter
that may be present.
Notice that this particular account has 162,011 search keywords, including
deleted keywords. Also notice that some of them have a final url.
Now, my question, In UI terms:
How do I get all search keywords that have one or more final url? Do I have
to set "Show rows" to 500, then click "next" 324 times? I think that's a
waste of bandwidth.
Actually, that's why we're automating, and we use keyword_view. But I don't
see how I can filter in AWQL on this repeated field, for condition "has
values" or "has no values".
I hope my question is clear now?
Re: find ad group criterion from applied recommendation resource_name
2023-03-20 Thread Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,
Thank you for posting your concern.
Regarding your concern, can you please provide more context about this?
Kindly note that  the Google Ads API and Google Ads UI mirrors each other.
Meaning by using the Google Ads API, you can retrieve and manage the data
that you are seeing in the Google Ads UI *programmatically*. That said, if
this feature is available in the Google Ads UI. can you provide the
uncropped Google Ads UI screenshot so our team can have a better view and
can provide accurate guidance?
You may then send the requested logs via the *Reply privately to author*
option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly
to our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.
Re: "status": "RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED", At the very first request.
2023-03-20 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Subin,
Thank you for the reply,
Could you confirm if you already considered setting up short delays between
requests or combining more operations in fewer requests and considered applying
for standard access? if still not, Here's the application form for standard
access level.
You can also read more about access levels and their restrictions here.
Remember that the limit is 15,000 operations per day, not 15,000 requests per
day, for basic access. So a single request with 150 operations will use up 1%
of your daily quota.
On the other hand, if you still want to check the requests you have done. You
may use the Google Cloud Console, you can view the list of methods and services
to which your project recently submitted requests by following the guide below:
Open the Dashboard page (found under APIs & Services) in the Google Cloud
Console.
Click on Google Ads API in the table.
On the METRICS subtab, you should see your recent requests plotted on each
graph. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see the Methods table, where you can
see which methods you’ve sent requests to. The method name includes a Google
Ads API version, a service, and a method name, e.g.,
google.ads.googleads.v11.services.GoogleAdsService.Mutate
. In this way, you can also see all versions that you’ve used recently.
(Optional) Click on the time frame at the top right of the page if you need to
change it.
Best regards,
RE: Pmax Insights data API
2023-03-20 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Tuomas,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Kindly note that this channel and our team provide support for Google Ads
API-related concerns only.
That being said, could you confirm if you want to get the data you are
referring to through the Google Ads UI? If yes, then I would suggest you reach
out instead to the product team via this link, as they are better equipped to
provide guidance on UI-related matters.
However, if you want to get this through the Google Ads API, kindly note that
the Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI. Whatever data shows on the Ads UI
report, the API should pull the same. That being said, you may provide us with
the entire UI screenshot without cropping, where you can see the data you want
to retrieve in the API, so that we can further check this and provide
appropriate recommendations to you. You may then send the requested information
via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you
may send the details directly to our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias
instead.
