RE: EVENT_NOT_FOUND Google error API

2023-03-21 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,

Welcome to Google Ads API support team. Thank you for reaching out to us.

Looking over your concern, it appears that you are encountering EVENT_NOT_FOUND
when uploading conversions. This error can happen when the identifier or iOS
URL parameter did not came from a Google Ads click. If this is the case, when
you upload it into Google Ads, the system says that they don't recognize them.
Thus, what we can recommend is when storing the GCLID, you'll need to
double-check to see where the GCLID came from. Having said that, would you be
able to confirm if the identifier used in the request actually generated from a
Google Ads click?

Moreover, the click_view report shows click details by returning one row for
each click, which is equivalent to one GCLID. If it is valid GCLID then
click_view report should pull it, otherwise, click_view report will not be able
to pull it.

As a side note, removing your first message in this thread as it contains
private information. Rest assured that we have all the details mentioned there
that will be used for investigation purposes only.

Regards,

Google Ads API Team

Asset Group perf stats don't match it's pmax campaign stats

2023-03-21 Thread Rich Johns
Given a pmax campaign, my expectation is that performance stats fetched at
the campaign level will match the performance stats fetched at the asset
group level. They are not. The campaign stats report larger numbers than
the asset group stats.

In an experiment I fetched a single day of perf stats for the pmax campaign
and the same single day for the pmax campaign's asset groups.

Here is the query used for the asset group stats:

SELECT asset_group_product_group_view.asset_group, segments.date,
campaign.id, campaign.name, metrics.cost_micros, metrics.impressions,
metrics.clicks, metrics.conversions, metrics.conversions_value,
asset_group.name, FROM asset_group_product_group_view WHERE segments.date
>= '2023-03-16' AND segments.date <= '2023-02-16' AND
asset_group_listing_group_filter.type != 'SUBDIVISION'

And then to compare asset group stats to campaign stats, I look at only
asset_group_product_group_view result rows of the specified pmax campaign.

I'm expecting the stats of the asset groups belonging to the pmax campaign
to equal the stats of the campaign. Are my expectations incorrect? If not,
any insight as to why they are not the same is much appreciated.

Thanks

Match rate discrepancy between API & UI upload

Please let us know why are we seeing this much discrepancy? And what can we

RE: Isle of Man (20340): A keyword plan campaign contains one or more invalid geo targets.

2023-03-21 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello Esnem,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API Support.

It seems you are encountering an error when you mutate your keyword plan
campaign. For us to assist you further, can you please provide us with the
complete request and response logs with request ID generated as shown in the
respective links, so we can check on our end the errors being thrown?

If you haven't enabled logging yet, it can be enabled by navigating to the
Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation,
which you can access from this link. For REST interface requests, you can
enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

You can provide it via Reply privately to the author option. If this option is
not available, then send it instead on this email address
googleadsapi-supp...@google.com.

RE: Upgrade CombinedRuleUserList (ruleOperator = AND) to the new FlexibleRuleUserListInfo

2023-03-21 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Ye,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Since CombinedRuleUserListInfo and ExpressionRuleUserListInfo have been removed
in v13 and you want to transform the CombinedRuleUserLists to
FlexibleRuleUserListInfo by the process you saw here and you are looking for a
workaround to get the CombinedRuleUserListInfo first, then I would suggest you
retrieve first the resource name of the CombinedRuleUserList in v12 while it is
still not deprecated and sunsetted. After you do that, you may proceed with the
guidance you saw here to transform it to FlexibleRuleUserListInfo.

Let me know if this is what you are looking for; if not, then I would be
needing your help to kindly elaborate and provide more details on it, so that
we could provide precise guidance accordingly.

Best regards,

Google Ads API Team

Is this a (known) bug or has something I overlooked changed?

Re: Others metrics return N/A

2023-03-21 Thread Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum. I hope you are doing
well today.

Moving forward to your concern about having N/A result in the metrics table,
can you please try to use the sample query below in retrieving your data
using REST.

SELECT campaign.resource_name, campaign.id, campaign.name, campaign.status,
metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks, metrics.ctr, metrics.average_cpc FROM
campaign

If it happens that the issue still persists or still has NULL value, for
our team to further compare, investigate, and validate why you are

Upgrade CombinedRuleUserList (ruleOperator = AND) to the new FlexibleRuleUserListInfo

2023-03-21 Thread Ye Haily
Hello,

I saw API V13 only support FlexibleRuleUserListInfo. When I get
existing CombinedRuleUserLists by API V13, I couldn't get rule info detail
for CombinedRuleUserList which ruleOperator is AND.

But the doc Upgrade to the latest version | Google Ads API | Google
Developers
 said:
Run a GoogleAdsService.search query to select the existing
CombinedRuleUserListinfo or ExpressionRuleUserListInfo as a
FlexibleRuleUserListInfo. *This will transform the list into the correct
format for re-upload.*

Please let me know how can I get CombinedRuleUserList rule which
ruleOperator is AND by API V13.

Example CombinedRuleUserList:
[image: Screenshot 2023-03-21 175627.png]

Result from V13:
{
"userList": {
"resourceName": "customers/6719325552/userLists/982240039",
"type": "RULE_BASED",
"accessReason": "OWNED",
"accountUserListStatus": "ENABLED",
"ruleBasedUserList": {
"prepopulationStatus": "REQUESTED"
},
"id": "982240039",
"readOnly": false,
"name": "CombinedRuleUserList1(AND)",
"membershipLifeSpan": "1",
"eligibleForSearch": true,
"eligibleForDisplay": true
}
}

Re: How to filter on repeated fields in AWQL

2023-03-21 Thread Zweitze
Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

I am not sure if it is still the case, but 10, 15 years ago the Terms and
Conditions stated that the client should not execute more requests than
strictly necessary. To comply with such stipulations, one has to do as much
filtering as possible. Let's assume that in the given account, not a single
keyword has one final_url set - but there's still 162,011 keywords.
For the API to retrieve all keywords with final_url set, this would require
163 API requests, each call returning 1,000 keywords. The client would need
to do the filtering and throw all these keywords away. Now, if it was
possible to enter a filter in AWQL, the client would only need one API call
- 16,200% faster. I am sure you get the point.

Does the T no longer require to reduce the API calls?
Of course I still have to deal with rate limitations - there's only so many
API requests I can make per minute (Google Firewall), per hour, per day.
How do I deal with that, if I have to use such many API requests?

Looking forward to your response,
Thanks!

RE: Google Ads API Conversion Event Not AllowListed

2023-03-21 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API team. I hope you are doing well
today.

With regards to your concern, it appears that you have encountered the
“Customer is not allowlisted for accessing this feature”. Kindly note that
Google Ads API added support to ClickConversion.conversion_environment on which
a conversion was recorded since version 10.1.0. However, this feature is
available to allowlisted accounts only and this is why you are encountering the
said error.

If you want to get allowlisted to this specific feature, then you may reach out
to your Google representative or Account manager and for them to reach out to
our team separately so our team can provide the internal document that they can
use in the said allowlisting process.

Regards,

Google Ads API Team
