Accessing Geo targets in C#

2023-04-24 Thread Sumit Bansal
I am looking to store the geo targets available in CSV
file https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/data/geotargets.

I am looking for a sample implementation using google-ads-dotnet
 SDK or any other suitable
official SDK also what kind of authentication required.

The data which I am looking(Geo targets) is a public information and not
tied with any account. so any rest API will also work instead of using any
SDK.

Re: how to get manager name?

2023-04-24 Thread Zweitze
Given just a GoogleAds client, and a customerid, you determine
logincustomerid (the id of the MCC containing the requested customerid):

First, call CustomerService.ListAccessibleCustomers(). This returns a list
of MCCs that the user can access.
Then, for each MCC returned, request a report on customer_client. In the
results you check whether your requested account is returned - if you find
it, you've got your logincustomerid.
If none of the MCCs knows this customerid, then the user does not have
access to that account.

It's painful to go through every MCC, but, currently nobody can have
hundreds of MCCs - so it shouldn't take too long.

Hope this helps.

"Others" appears on new campaigns opened via API

2023-04-24 Thread Or Zilca
Hi,

We use python SDK to create campaigns.
We noticed that when creating campaigns, we set a specific goal (using
ConversionGoalCampaignConfigService), but, the end result is always the
desired rule + Other (website)

https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQuWAgjo

When we tried to disable the Other as default goal, *all conversions
stopped working*.
https://share.getcloudapp.com/E0uXezLo

What we do then is we leave the Other as account default, open campaigns
via API with a specific goal, and then manually go over each campaign to
remove the "Other" and leave only the desired goal.
This is very time consuming and prevents us from scaling properly.

Is there a way to fix that?

2023-04-24 Thread 'Aniket Patil' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,

I want to get installations and Cost/Installs from the API.
Do we have the facility now to get those data ? or any other work around to
get the Cost/Installs ?

Thanks & regards,
Aniket Patil

Hello Team Can you provide an example of how to use the Google Ads API's
offlineUserDataJobs REST API to add matched users to an existing audience
list that has already been created?

Thanks!

RE: hi team

2023-04-24 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Leonel,

Thank you for returning to the Google Ads API team.

Regarding to your concern, can you first provide the complete request and
response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end when you
weren't able to get the asset data so we can better investigate this and can
provide precise recommendations to you?

You may then send the requested logs via the Reply privately to author option.
If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our
googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

In addition you mentioned that you are trying to update budget to an account,
you may see this Update an existing account budget guide for more information
about this.

Re: how to allow users to easily process payment in our saas system

2023-04-24 Thread Vanessa Yu
Hello Ben and all Google Ads API Team,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your reply! And we would like
to ask for your continued help so that we can achieve the SaaS system that
we want to complete.

We are a team who have worked as Google agents for nearly 10 years. We are
familiar with ads, ad data analysis, and understand the obstacles that
customers may encounter when placing ads. However, in the agency
environment, we are unable to help advertising clients more efficiently.
Therefore, we left the agency and want to develop a SaaS system that allows
users to easily place good ads without any advertising knowledge or
background. The Google agency company where we previously worked had an
Account Manager at Google, and with their help, we had access to the Google
Ad API. This is also why we want to further develop our product to help
those who want to place ads but don't know where to start. However, after
leaving the previous agency company, the new company we have established
does not have an Account Manager at Google.

I would sincerely request your assistance to help us.

Best wishes,

Vanessa
