Really?

I already made my question very clear -
*I want to enable enhanced conversions on a specific conversion action -
via a API*Your docs only talk about doing this in the UI - I need to do
this through the API

Re: know if an account has image extensions enabled

2023-05-05 Thread Florencia Pereira
Actually, I am trying to check if a campaign has image extensions enabled.
So that is why I was trying to use campaign_extension_setting for
extension_type = IMAGE. Does this object exist if the campaign has image
extensions? Can I suppose that if there is no campaign_extension_setting
for the campaign and extension_type IMAGE, it means the campaign does not
have image extensions enabled?

Re: get customer id - php v13 google ads

2023-05-05 Thread Jessica Villa
If I put the manager id as param of searchStream I got an empty result but
no errors...

$googleAdsServiceClient = $googleAdsClient->getGoogleAdsServiceClient();
$query = "SELECT customer.id, customer.descriptive_name, ad_group.id,
ad_group.name FROM ad_group WHERE ad_group.id = AD_GROUP_ID LIMIT 1";
$response = $googleAdsServiceClient->searchStream('MANAGER_ACCOUNT_ID'
$query); // is this line right?

foreach ($response->iterateAllElements() as $googleAdsRow) {
$customers[] = [
'customer_client.id' => $googleAdsRow->getCustomerClient()->getId(),
];
}

is there any function where customer id don't need to be required in order
to get the customer id?

Thank you again!

2023-05-05 Thread Jessica Villa
Thank you for your answer, I have other question:
using the function *search() * or *searchStream()* is the right way to
retrieve info?

$googleAdsServiceClient = $googleAdsClient->getGoogleAdsServiceClient();
$query = "SELECT customer.id, customer.descriptive_name, ad_group.id,
ad_group.name FROM ad_group WHERE ad_group.id = AD_GROUP_ID LIMIT 1";
$response = $googleAdsServiceClient->searchStream('' $query); // is
this line right?

foreach ($response->iterateAllElements() as $googleAdsRow) {
$customers[] = [
'customer_client.id' => $googleAdsRow->getCustomerClient()->getId(),
];
}
 because I got empty response... and maybe is another way to get the info.

I don't have the customer_id value (so that's why I put '???' I don't know
exactly if I am using the right function), only I got ad_group_id value

Thank you!

Enable Enhanced Conversion for Conversion Actions via API

2023-05-05 Thread Tim J
Hi,

I'm looking for an API operation to enable enhanced conversions on any
given conversion action

In the Google Ads UI I would enable enhanced conversions with this checkbox:
[image: google-ads.png]

My question: *How can I do the same thing in the API*?

I'm not seeing anything about enabling enhanced conversions in this doc?

Re: when are the historical metrics available?

2023-05-05 Thread Markus Heiden
Hi,

thanks for your explanation. I already read that, but I did not find what I
was searching for:

If there is no API call for retrieving that information (as you pointed
out), it would have been nice, if at least the day-in-month would be
documented from that the data is guaranteed to be available.

For now, I will evaluate that heuristically when this day may be.

Thanks,
Markus

Re: quota_error: resource_exhausted without quotaerrordetails

2023-05-05 Thread Markus Heiden
Hi,

thanks for pointing out that I hit the daily API operations limit. I didn't
expect that :-)
It would have been nice if there had been a reference to the daily limit in
the error.
Or does RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED always just relates to the daily limit? If so, I
misunderstood the description "too many request" in the referenced docs,
because that could be interpreted as hitting any other quota limit too.

My bigger problem: I cannot handle such errors automatically by code,
because the QuotaErrorDetails are missing. Why?

Best regards,
Markus

Thanks for the reply.
Does this work if the extension still uses extension_feed_items and

Would it be reliable to determine if it is enable querying if the campaign
has a campaign_extension_settings object of extension type IMAGE ?

Thanks

Conversion API trouble - no data in UI

2023-05-05 Thread Innokenty Tretyakov
Hi. I have a problem I can not comprehend.

We have a flow that sends latest conversions to Conversion API. Flow gets
200 - Success on every event it sends. Yet there are no data in Google Ads
UI. Also - if I try to send the same events again - API responds with an
error, informing that those events are already in database and therefore
can not be accepted again.
If those conversions are accounted for, then why do I not see any numbers
in UI?

Thank you for any help in this matter!

RE: location value

2023-05-05 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Regarding your concern, you may try using the geo_target_constant report
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v13/geo_target_constant?hl=en)
 or location_view report
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v13/location_view?hl=en)
and let us know if you are able to get your expected data.

If you happen to not get you expected data via the provided report, then you
may send us the uncropped Google Ads UI screenshot so that we can provide
accurate suggestion.

You may then send the requested logs via the Reply privately to author option.
If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our

As per your use case, customer is an attributed resources of ad_group report so

SELECT customer.id, customer.descriptive_name, ad_group.id, ad_group.name FROM

RE: "user in the cookie is not a valid ads user."

2023-05-05 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Moving forward, I can see that you have received the NOT_ADS_USER
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/best-practices/common-errors#authenticationerror)
 error when you attempted to connect to the API. The NOT_ADS_USER error is
encountered when the service account has not been correctly linked to the
Google Ads account via the OAuth2 assertion flow. Please take note that the
email address you may have used to generate the credentials should have access
or be associated with Google Ads accounts. To handle this error, make sure to
sign in with a valid Google Ads account (typically your manager account) for
the OAuth flow. You can also invite the Google account to access an existing
Google Ads account by signing in to your manager account, selecting the
customer or manager account in question, navigating to Tools and Settings >
Access and security, then adding the Google account email address.

If the issue persists, could you please provide the complete logs below for
further investigation:

request -

response -

The way to establish GoogleAdsConfig has changed, but the method

Is out IT team doing it wrong or does de API need to be fixed?

2023-05-05 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Markus,

Thank you for returning to our team.

Regarding your concern, we really understand your situation. However, as
mentioned, please note that the Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI data.
Meaning, the API should be able to retrieve or manage the data visible in the
Google Ads UI. Note that using the KeywordPlanIdeaService, you can search for
new keywords that are relevant to your Google Search campaign, or find
historical metrics on keywords. You may check this Keyword Ideas
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/keyword-planning/generate-keyword-ideas)
 document for more information about this in Google Ads API. Also, note that if
this is not yet available in the UI then it is also highly not available in the
Google Ads API.

If you happen to need Google Ads UI perspective about this matter, then you may
reach out to the Google Ads Product support team
(https://support.google.com/google-ads/gethelp) and ask for their insights
about this matter.

Regards,

Google Ads API Team

Re: api end points to get all conversion action

2023-05-05 Thread Vincent Mary
Thanks a lot.

But If you closely watch my screenshot you can see that on the UI we know
that we had a conversion between 13h and 14h.
If the API mirror the UI, how can I get this information ?
For example, I want to get all clicks of a day for a precise campaign and
know if one of those clicks led to a conversion and when this conversion
happened.

Cordialement
