Re: The error code is not in this version

2023-08-03 Thread Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi everyone,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support
team. Please excuse us for only getting back now as your message failed to
be routed to our support queue.

In order for our team to have a better understanding about this behavior
and can provide precise recommendations, can you please provide the
complete API logs below?

   - request -

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/field-service#request
   - response -

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/field-service#response
   - request ID -

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/call-structure#request-id
   - request header -

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/concepts/call-structure#request_headers

You may then send the requested logs via the *Reply privately to author*
option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly
to our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

Note that these logs can be requested or provided to the developer handling
the Google Ads API transactions when logging of the API requests has been
enabled. You may check here
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/best-practices/logging#client_library_logging)

for the specific guideline to enable it.

For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by
using the -i flag. This will cause the tool to include HTTP response
headers in the output.

Re: planning to implement campaign creation on specific products but cant get clear idea

2023-08-03 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for returning to our team.

With regards to your concern, I am afraid that we can't provide a ready made
Rest API code. However, I would suggest referring to this Rest API method
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/rest/reference/rest/v14/customers.assetGroupListingGroupFilters/mutate)
for mutating asset group listing group filters via Rest API and also using
this API explorer
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/rest/reference/rest/v14/customers.assetGroupListingGroupFilters/mutate?apix=true)
as this will surely help you construct your request properly.

I would highly suggest also referring to the below guides as these will really
help you regarding this matter:

Performance Max Overview -
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/performance-max/overview
Performance Max for Retail -
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/performance-max/retail
Listing Groups -
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/performance-max/listing-groups
Performance Max Campaign Interactive guide -
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/interactive-guides/performance-max
Temporary IDs -

Re: Fwd: change event and change status not returning latest data

2023-08-03 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Empower,

Thank you for coming back to us. I hope you are doing well today.

With regards to your concern, as mentioned in our previous email, since you are
using the Google Ads Editor tool for these changes, unfortunately you can’t
obtain keywords changes, responsive ads changes, and other changes with Google
Ads query. As the Google Ads Editor is not available in the Google Ads API.

In addition, you also provide another screenshot that is, “To get the
categories of the changes in the change history using the API”, unfortunately
this is not yet supported in Google Ads API. However, our team has already
raised a feature request for this so that it will become available in the
future. Please note that this will be a subject for review and what we can do
is to advise you to keep an eye on the blog post
(https://ads-developers.googleblog.com/search/label/google_ads_api) for the
updates and release notes
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/release-notes?hl=en) feature
releases.

You may check the reporting below for reference:

How can we get added notes with Google ads query?

Re: planning to implement campaign creation on specific products but cant get clear idea

2023-08-03 Thread Abhishek Yadav
Hi ,

Thanks for reverting back !

I was watching the videos to have some insights for the same so i have some
insights on the structure how that functions.

I am certainly looking for a way to create Pmax campaign retail ,the main
concern is to create pmax campaign for shopping vertical along with
selective products,via google ads api.

I also had some insights that we need to create some nodes based on the
selective product ids in *assetGroupListingGroupFilters.*

So would be good to have full functional example in REST API as i have some
unclear things regarding temporary ID that we are create for the entities
like asset groups.

Re: unique users metrics

2023-08-03 Thread Bruce Axtens
I'm trying to establish the audience size for campaigns or maybe
census_audience_size. I keep going round and round in circles ending up at
youtube-related requests which are totally irrelevant. Must I really spend
time with ReachPlanService, GenerateReachForecast, PlannableLocation,
ProductMetadadta and PlannedProductReachForecast. This doesn't seem to be
getting me anywhere useful. These things all seem to think I want YouTube
data when I most assuredly do NOT.

Re: planning to implement campaign creation on specific products but cant get clear idea

2023-08-03 Thread Abhishek Yadav
Hi ,

Thanks for Reverting i have already gone through some of the docs but that
is not clear enough.

Would be good to have brief insights to create Pmax campaign for selective
products or group of products via API if there are example with google ads
api library then also it would be helpful to understand.

As the Hierarchy of the Listing Group, Listing Group Filters and
ListingGroupFiltersDImension does not have clear description how that are
interconnected.

Would be helpful for the insights.
