Only one account creation request was issued, but many duplicate accounts were created

2023-12-07 Thread Alan Li
Today, there was a problem in my company's production environment. The
following code was called once, but a dozen duplicate accounts appeared on
the Google advertising platform.

Customer customer = new()
{
DescriptiveName = req.DescriptiveName,
CurrencyCode = req.CurrencyCode,
TimeZone = req.TimeZone,
Manager = false,
TrackingUrlTemplate = "{lpurl}?device={device}",
FinalUrlSuffix =
"keyword={keyword}={matchtype}={adgroupid}"
};
CreateCustomerClientRequest createCustomerClientRequest = new()
{
ValidateOnly = req.ValidateOnly,
CustomerId = req.CustomerId,
CustomerClient = customer
};

// Create the account.
CreateCustomerClientResponse response =
customerService.CreateCustomerClient(createCustomerClientRequest);

// Display the result.
var message = string.Format($"Created a customer with
resource name " +

with customer " +
$"ID '{req.CustomerId}'");

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

By reviewing your query, I understand that you would like to obtain the
consumption of ADS gift amount and gift amount. To assist you further, could
you please provide us with the uncropped screenshot of Google Ads account(UI)
data which you want to retrieve via API. Please note that API is just a
reflection of UI, which means only the data that is present in the UI can be
retrieved via API.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct

RE: question about google ads api rmf - c.530 create local inventory ads

2023-12-07 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

After reviewing your concern, I understand that you want to know about the
Google ads API RMF for Item number C.530.

C.530: This core function allows users to create new LIA campaigns and ad
groups. End users need to have their business details, product feeds, and
inventory management systems in place before they can effectively utilize the
API for creating and managing LIA campaigns.

Kindly refer to this guide to know more about Standard Shopping Campaign Tool
Feature List.

Re: is sensitive data retrieval restricted via basic access in development mode?

2023-12-07 Thread Steve Begin
 I had read all the information at the link you provided (
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/access-levels), and have
now done so again.

Unfortunately, I do not see the answer explicitly listed there in a way we
have understood. This is why I am reaching out for assistance.

Regarding the additional details you are requesting, can you verify that
this question is not the generic question I thought it was, i.e., unrelated
to a particular account nor that account's access. It seems actually
pertinent to GoogleAds API use as a whole regardless of whose account and
what access they have.

*I am asking whether there is a difference in more than the rate limit, and
whether production budget and spend related data retrieval from the Google
Ads API is not part of the permissable use / authorization we have been
approved for with the Basic access that we are currently leveraging in
Developer mode rather than production. *
We have no case Id. I will "reply to author" immediately with our Google
Ads Manager Account (MCC) ID.

Please advise.

Is sensitive data retrieval restricted via Basic Access in Development mode?

2023-12-07 Thread Steve Begin
*I am wondering whether the "Basic Access" we are using through Development
mode might not be sufficient for getting the budget and spend information
we are seeking to retrieve for our customers. Can you advise whether our
Access level or the mode we are in prohibit some sensitive data from being
retrieved? * * (E.g., whether we instead need Standard access and/or to be
in Production mode) *

Do the access or mode impact more than just the rate limit, but also the
type of data retrievable?

Thanks,
Steve

Question about Google Ads Api RMF - C.530 Create Local Inventory Ads

2023-12-07 Thread Jebron Lames
Hi,

In terms of the google ads API RMF for Item number C.530, what exactly does
this require? Is the end user required to have set up the necessary
information  (business details) and such?

I know creating a local inventory ad to primarily be something done on
Google Shopping, so I was curious.

Thanks.

What is it AverageCpaMicros ?

2023-12-07 Thread 'Brain Computing S.p.A.' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
I would like to know what is meant by averageCpaMicros.
>From what I understand it is the cost per share expressed in Micros.
But I didn't understand what period he was referring to.

{"01": {"clicks": 23.37779426574707, "costMicros": 15531,
"conversions": 0.5365825295448303, "impressions": 263.8755187988281,
"conversionRate": 0.022952659055 59063, "averageCpaMicros": 288865221,
"clickThroughRate": 0.08859402686357498}}

I would like to understand if the value in averageCpaMicros is a value to
be divided by the days of the period so as to represent the daily
expenditure or is this another type of data?
