Looking for an identifer in the API to know if an invoice has been paid.

2024-02-26 Thread Michael Gioia
My product pulls Google Ads invoices via API into our financial system to
assist with matching orders, reconciliation, and faster payment to the
supplier.

One of our customers asked us if there was a way only to pull in invoices
that still needed to be paid. According to the API documentation, it
doesn't look like there is such an identifier.

Wanted to see if this was even possible today and I am missing something,
or if this would be a net new feature/change request.

RE: associating sharedset at the mcc level to campaigns in subaccounts

2024-02-26 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Amine,

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you are encountering the
"INVALID_CUSTOMER_ID". It means that the Customer ID is invalid. Kindly note
that you have only provided the response and MethodName. Could you please
confirm if you are trying to perform the create or remove operation on a
campaign shared set? Also, could you confirm if you have followed the
CampaignSharedSetOperation document?

In order to investigate the issue further, updated complete API logs (request
and request-id with request header) generated at your end.

Since you are using a Java client library, I would request you to enable
logging for the Java client library that you are using. You can refer to the
guides Java to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can
enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct
private reply to this email

Associating sharedSet at the MCC level to campaigns in subaccounts

2024-02-26 Thread Amine Achergui
Hi,

I'm trying to share a negative keyword set from my MCC account to campaigns
in sub-accounts using the Google Ads API. This use case is doable through
the UI, but I'm getting an Exception using Java sdk v15. Here is my code :

List resourceNames = new ArrayList<>();

CampaignSharedSet campaignSharedSet = CampaignSharedSet.newBuilder()
.setCampaign(campaignResourceName)
.setSharedSet(sharedSetResourceName)
.build();

CampaignSharedSetOperation campaignSharedSetOperation =
CampaignSharedSetOperation.newBuilder()
.setCreate(campaignSharedSet)
.build();

try (CampaignSharedSetServiceClient campaignCriterionServiceClient =
googleAdsClient.getLatestVersion().createCampaignSharedSetServiceClient()) {
MutateCampaignSharedSetsResponse response =
campaignCriterionServiceClient.mutateCampaignSharedSets(
customerId, ImmutableList.of(campaignSharedSetOperation));
response.getResultsList().forEach(result ->
resourceNames.add(result.getResourceName()));
}

and I am getting the following error:
Request
---
MethodName:
google.ads.googleads.v15.services.CampaignSharedSetService/MutateCampaignSharedSets
...
Failure message: errors {
  error_code {
request_error: INVALID_CUSTOMER_ID
  }
  message: "Invalid customer ID 'X'."
}
...
Status: Status{code=INVALID_ARGUMENT, description=Request contains an
invalid argument., cause=null}.
Where X is my MCC account.
What am I doing wrong? is That use case supported through the API ?

thank you,
Amine

RE: rest api for managing google audience

2024-02-26 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

By reviewing your query, I understand that you are looking for an API endpoint
to create custom audiences, manipulate data segments, and efficiently manage
audience memberships. I would suggest you to use the customers.customAudiences
endpoint to create or update custom audiences. You may check the
CustomAudienceOperation guide to know more about the create and update
operation on a custom audience. Also, you may use the CustomAudienceService to
manage the custom audiences. Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any
further queries.

Re: how often google ads stats are updated ?

2024-02-26 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Yes, there is a chance that Google Ads data is refreshed after 14 days. This
can happen for a number of reasons, including:

When a conversion occurs days after the initial click
When Google detects invalid traffic that needs to be removed
When you make changes to your landing pages

While most reports and metrics are continuously updated, auction insights,
impression share, and Search terms are updated a few times a day, and the data
in your “Mobile-friendly click rate” column may be up to 14 days old. If you've
made recent updates to one of your landing pages, you may need to wait up to 14
days for those changes to be reflected in the column.

Thanks,

Google Ads API Team

How will the Google integration work with older version v14 without the Consent Object after March 6th, 2024?

2024-02-26 Thread 'Anurag Sinha' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Team,

Our customers utilize our Tool, which is built on v14 of the Google Ads
Version. With the v14 sunset scheduled for June 5, 2024, as per the
document https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/sunset-dates ,
we seek clarification on how the *Google Ads integration(v14)* will
function without the consent Object *post-March 6th, 2024*.

Our concern is that customers using v14 will not set the Consent Object in
the Customer Match job at CustomerMatchUserListMetadata.consent when
targeting EU or non-EU region customers. Will the *absence of the consent
Object be treated as missing consent for EU users*, leading to
non-processing and unavailability for ad personalization? Alternatively,
what will be the impact on EU and non-EU customers? We seek to understand
this aspect.
Regards,
Anurag Sinha

Rest API for managing google audience

2024-02-26 Thread Prashant Patidar
Hello,

 I am reaching out regarding our ongoing integration of Google Audience
with our CRM-based product. As we proceed, we are in need of accessing the
necessary API endpoints to create custom audiences, manipulate data
segments, and efficiently manage audience memberships.

While we have successfully implemented OAuth in our system and possess the
developer token, we are currently facing challenges in locating the API
references required for audience management. Your assistance in providing
the relevant API documentation or any guidance on accessing these endpoints
would be immensely appreciated.

Having the API reference at our disposal will greatly facilitate the
integration process and enable us to seamlessly incorporate audience
management functionalities into our product.

Thank you very much for your attention to this matter. I look forward to
your prompt response and any assistance you can provide.

Get all campaigns of all accounts

2024-02-26 Thread Nguyen Vien
Currently, I'm iterating through each account and synchronizing campaigns
sequentially, which is time-consuming. I'm considering using multithreading
to parallelize the process but are unsure whether to implement
multithreading or multiprocessing in your Django Python server. Could you
provide guidance on which approach would be more suitable for my scenario,
and what factors should I consider in making this decision for optimal
performance and efficiency? Thanks.

Sync all campaigns of all relevant accounts.

2024-02-26 Thread Nguyen Vien
Hi, I'm working on synchronizing campaigns from multiple related accounts
to my Python server, and the current approach of iterating through each
account sequentially and fetch campaigns of it by search_stream is
time-consuming. I'm considering using multithreading to parallelize the
synchronization process. However, I'm uncertain whether to implement
multithreading or multiprocessing in my Django Python server. Could you
provide guidance on which approach would be more suitable for my scenario,
and what factors should I consider in making this decision for optimal
performance and efficiency? And why choose that ? Thanks

Could you provide an update on the progress of our requests? We would

Looking forward to your response.
