Developer Token Basic Access No Reply

2024-03-20 Thread Chicago Fire Digital Analytics
Hi Google Ads team,

**I am copying this request from another user because I have the same error.

I submitted a Basic Access Request for my Developer Token ~3 weeks ago and
have been awaiting a decision without any reply. My account is still
showing as Test Account - it's not even marked as "pending" yet.

Google Ads Manager Account: 281-194-0549

I don't have a Case ID from the compliance team because I haven't received
any confirmation or information emails at all yet.

Is there any chance you can provide me an update on the status of this?
It's currently a blocker for our development.

Re: java streaming to google ads

2024-03-20 Thread Don Mitchell
Thanks. Given that we average 500k records in this one job, that's 250 API
calls. How awkward. Seems strange for a protocol (protobuf) which natively
supports streaming. If you could put in a request for enhancement,
that'd be great.

Re: java streaming to google ads

2024-03-20 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,

There API doesn't support streaming uploads for conversions. You need to make
separate discrete requests, each of which have a batch of 2000 or fewer
conversions.

The API generally doesn't support streaming uploads for any feature. You can
stream search results, however. Here's an example of how to do that in Java:

Re: Google Ads FTP/API Data Export

2024-03-20 Thread Zweitze
Use this API to access your Google Ads accounts. For instance, you can
write (or pay someone to write) software that reads your campaign data and
stores it in your databases.

The business-smart answer is to look into Data Integration products like
FiveTran, Supermetrics, Stitch.io etc. They can also access your Google Ads
accounts, and then write it into a destination of your choosing - for
instance, CSV files on your FTP server.

How to include the ZERO metrics while fetching campaign metrics???

2024-03-20 Thread Vijay P
I'm currently working on a campaign dashboard for Google Search within my
project. The goal is to display date-wise metrics using a Line Graph, where
the X-axis represents the date and the Y-axis encompasses metrics such as
clicks, impressions, CTR (click-through rate), CPM (cost per thousand
impressions), CPC (cost per click), and phone calls. The plotted lines will
vary based on the dropdown selection.

However, I encountered an issue when fetching date-wise campaign metrics
for the specific date range of January 23rd to January 24th using the API
request provided below. The API only returns data for January 24th and does
not include data for the 23rd. Nevertheless, in the summary, the aggregated
values for the 23rd are included.

API Request:
URL:
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v15/customers/{CUSTOMER_ID}/googleAds:searchStream

Body: { "query": "SELECT campaign.id, campaign.name, campaign.start_date,
campaign.end_date, metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks,
metrics.average_cpc, metrics.average_cpm, metrics.ctr, metrics.phone_calls,
metrics.search_impression_share, metrics.search_top_impression_share,
metrics.top_impression_percentage,
metrics.search_absolute_top_impression_share, metrics.cost_micros,
segments.date, campaign_budget.total_amount_micros FROM campaign WHERE
segments.date BETWEEN '2023-01-23' AND '2023-01-24' AND
campaign.network_settings.target_google_search = true AND campaign.status
IN ('ENABLED', 'PAUSED','REMOVED') ORDER BY segments.date",
"summaryRowSetting": "SUMMARY_ROW_WITH_RESULTS" }

Upon comparison with the ads.google.com portal, I noticed that on January
23rd, all metrics except for phone calls had zero values. It seems that
when metrics have zero values, the Google API does not provide data for
that date range.

Could someone kindly guide me on how to resolve this issue?

Google Ads FTP/API Data Export

2024-03-20 Thread Keith Brown
Good morning all,

I have recently started working with GoogleAds and I have a question that I
can't seem to find the answer for by just reading documentation.

I would like to do a data export of our campaign data into our FTP Server
for DB internal use.

Can I utilise the FTP product under data management to do this or is this
mainly just for data import?

Anyone else had this type of request before?

Thank you in advance community.

Re: Stop Google Ads API changes

2024-03-20 Thread Zweitze
Magnus,

First, you should check whether it's actually a Google Ads script making
the changes. In Google Ads, check out Tools - Bulk actions - Scripts. When
the account is part of an MCC, do realize you can have scripts on account
level and MCC level - check both.

Assuming it's not a script:

In Google Ads (on the web), go to the change history of one of those
changes. You should see out who made those changes - that is the person
that allowed some software to access your accounts.

Don't know that person? Kick him off your account.
You know the person or it's actually you? Ask that person to visit Google
account security , and then click
the link "Your connections to third-party apps and services". That shows a
list of all software that was granted access to some information of that
user. The violating software should be in there. That list has
functionality to block access of individual apps.
