Re: unable to extract paused data from google ads using api call

2024-05-03 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I have replicated your issue and I am able to get the 'paused' data while
including the segments.date for "resourceName":
"customers/5882499660/campaigns/21084946503". Please see the below sample logs
for information:

"query": "SELECT campaign_criterion.location.geo_target_constant, campaign.id,
campaign.name, campaign_criterion.status, campaign.status,
campaign_criterion.bid_modifier, metrics.clicks, metrics.impressions,
metrics.ctr, metrics.average_cpc, metrics.cost_micros, segments.date FROM
location_view WHERE campaign.status != 'REMOVED' AND segments.date BETWEEN
'2024-04-02' AND '2024-05-01'"

{
  "campaign": {
"resourceName": "customers/5882499660/campaigns/21084946503",
"status": "PAUSED",
"name": "E_Kin_TVS_Raider_Brand_DemandGen_Mah_Jhar_Mar24",
"id": "21084946503"
  },

You can try making a request using this endpoints Method:
customers.googleAds.search or Method: customers.googleAds.searchStream by
passing the customer Id.

RE: performance max sum(campaign impressions) doesn't match asset group & product impressions

2024-05-03 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Based on the provided information, I understand that you have encountered data
discrepancy with the impressions metrics with campaign, asset_group and
shopping_performance_view resource. You can refer to the associated resources
for reporting on Performance Max campaigns.

In order for us to further investigate the discrepancy you are encountering and
provide appropriate recommendations to you, could you please provide us with
the uncropped UI screenshot of the report that you are trying to replicate via
the Google Ads API?

When comparing the value of the Google Ads UI and Google Ads API.

The segments and fields of the API and UI should be the same.

The date range should also be the same.

Comparing the API and UI at the same level as possible.

With that, please provide us with the complete API logs (request and response
with request-id and request header) generated at your end to better assist you.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct
private reply to this email.
